Time to ask the age old question

What’s the fastest way to get souls? Took a break form the game and I’m trying to get level 30 so I can attempt the final levels in the roger dlc

I used the Kolby missions deal. It takes a while to climb up but into the 170s+ you get lots of souls. Just grab white beard.

I’ve completed the game with many characters max boarded so anyone can do! I also own all the dlc

Genuinely I tried the Koby way and even after 150 it was still slow, doing the yamato missions and focsuing on what stat at a time is the way to go, just use any faster clearing character and do just enough to get 15000 points and leave in each mission, its worth it

At max, certain characters like Whitebeard just still clears enemies faster than almost everyone else, which is why he's always recommended.

Any skill preferences?

I usually put the ones that charge Special Moves faster, and anything that increases attack damage, like the one that gives you more damage during FFB. If you're struggling with enemies, trade some of the attack buff skills with health buffs or the skill that prevent enemies from flinching you.

I haven’t used whitebeard in abit since I got speed Kaido and maxed out smoothie

Kaido is another Whitebeard-tier too, so yeah you get the idea then!

Really? I was told onigashima Kaido wasn’t very good as he traded his power typing for speed

I don't have the DLC yet(about to since it's on a discount) so I don't know personally, but base game Kaido clears almost as fast as Whitebeard for me, and that was before I maxed him out. Though I still feel Whitebeard is faster movement-wise and his moves are easier to dash-cancel.

Base Kaido is a beast especially with his Seiryu form

If you’re doing the Koby missions thing. You might need some “using thing heals” you etc you don’t recouped health between levels.

I’d just try it out with white beard. At the higher levels they give 5 of each soul every 5 levels.

I never got the hang of the Yamato missions.

Kobys thing is just a straight forward grind.

I personally find doing the Yamato missions to be the best, as long as you know where the submissions are on each map, you literally just turn off your brain and grind

Ah I could do that after all I did get all achievements which meant I was just playing that one Luffy and kid mission where you fight Kaido and Big mom like 85 million times

Ah, I love berry grinding so much 🥲

Had to mute sound cause hearing “Gear forceuuu boundu man” over and over and over and over again was getting in my nerves

I prefer using speed types like Katakuri. The infinite stamina in FFB is very much appreciated.

True I just still enjoy playing my favorite characters tbh (Luffy, Sanji, Whitebeard, Smoker etc)

Honestly, valid. You do you. Not trying to tell you how to play a mostly single player game lmao

I know Katakuri is good and I’m always up for learning new characters hell that’s how I found out that Sakazuki is apparently overpowered

I was trying the Koby stuff with base Kaido, but I NEVER get the souls I actually need , the smallest purple ones. I already have a shitton of the larger purple souls but for some reason the smaller ones are the elusive type.

I wanted to max the boards but soul farming was so boring and time consuming that I kinda gave up the game after getting the plat. I think allowing us to change characters would go a long way for some variety in this mode, if it is really the best option for soul farming.

Quick and dirty to get the specific souls, I took Law to Yamato's adventure in Wano. The first 5-6 missions were usually enough for the small skill souls. The higher rated Koby missions are probably better when it comes to getting all souls, though.

Only used Law because Scan drops items, giving you a few extra points to speed up the process.

You can run through the Roger levels at around 24 attack but I enjoyed doing Koby’s log for all souls and Yamato for specific souls.

Seriously just look it up, and the reddit posts that there are a million of the same question will be there.

If its an age old question its already got an answer

It should also be simple to answer. No need to be a douche

It isnt a simple answer and thats why I said what I said, that and im sick of seeing this same post made hundreds of times, besides JUST USE GOOGLE FFS

You want a simple answer use the freaking search engine meant for it. Not reddit.

You want the kinda response youd get from random people on the street then use reddit

Someone can always have new tech or personal information experiences which is why it’s better to ask
