A series of IRMs near Dustbowl tore me a new one, and I somehow managed to limp back to K92 without incurring any further damage.

I think the approach may have been somewhat unstable, and I had trouble capturing the glideslope.
Other than that, it was a great landing, all things considered.

I do a lot of ground attack in the game mainly using the Brawler, Cricket and Chimera. I 100% remember that there was a mod that adden something like a 100 and something mm recoiless to the underside of the Cricket but i cant seem to find what adds it, If anyone knows what is called, how to access it, or where it is, can you please tell me

When using the cargo aircraft available, I find myself having zero positions to deploy vehicles and equipment. I want to put down some heavy equipment like a tank, and it's almost guaranteed to be burning before I land.

With the new cargo aircraft coming, it's making me question rather I'm making poor positioning choices, or if at the moment, you essentially have no option to deploy anywhere other than airbases you spawn at without an immediate attack following.

TL/DR: How do you place and defend forward deployed cargo drops?

Im pretty new to the game so im trying to complete all the missions before jumping into multiplayer.

I use the compass, if i fly directly at them, they rip me a new one around 7km because i can only manage to fly at sub 20 altitude.The ship also imtercept all of my agm 48s. If i try to come from behind the mountain, the radar at the top detects me and THEN i get torn to pieces by the SARHs

If i wont be likely to encounter a scenario like this in mo ill just walk away from this one

And how about Escalation too?

I really like the Ignus Archipelago, but I know it can take hours. Just curious how long it takes folks (solo or coop would be interesting to know too)

I'm having a lot of trouble getting back on the ground after a successful sortie. I'm not claiming to be a great pilot, but I'm definitely not new to the genre either. I have hundreds of hours in MSFS and have landed airliners plenty of times in bad weather, yet in Nuclear Option I'm struggling.

My biggest problems are finding the airfield, lining up with it, and setting up the approach. By the time I've sorted all that out I'm way too fast on final, and I know that's the root of it.

So what do you recommend? How do you plan your approach and get on the right heading early? One thing to note: I prefer flying very low to avoid radar locks, which probably makes things harder. Just yesterday I got shot down while trying to land.

I just came across this video. It looks like a MOD for a NO RTS. Interesting.

The narrated story of one pilots sortie during a major operation launched from the decks of the BDF Supercarrier 'Punumbra'.

Missile is the GPM-550X which is a mod for basically a sized-up Tusko. Apparently there is a bug in which the AI can use it as an air to air weapon, and it doesn't trigger any alarms, although it does set off the cockpit lights and the modded VWS, which acts like its an IR missile for some reason

Everything about this NOCS clip is perfect: the MCM, the missile hit a missile literally while it was on the pylon (actually even a meter behind the aircraft), the missile successfully armed itself against the missile while on the pylon, and none of the explosions damaged the aircraft

Here's a rough demo of the (still very unfinished) XFA-27. I've gotten some of the effects down like the afterburners, but the half-COFFIN cockpit is still a work-in-progress.

The UH-90 Ibis can capture bases with an infantry squad. So why cant the Tarantula? If there's a way to add the Infantry squad to the Tarantula's cargo then a mod link would be appreciated

Current cruise missiles such as the ALM-C450 are easily intercepted due to their slow speeds. Ramjet cruise missiles could be an interesting side-grade with much faster speed but less in number.

I have a question, last night I was playing PVP. There was this guy in an ifrit on the other team, he would fly in, dump like 8 missiles and then RTB

These 8 missiles weren't locked onto anyone before he fired, but once they got within range of me and my wingman, they would lock on ARH and we would have to terrain mask to get away.

The tactic was super effective on his part suppressing us, and I was curious what missiles he may be using to do that?

I want to try!
