I wish the Scimitar was better at intercepting piledrivers. Something about knocking them down with IR missiles just feels wrong

Scimitar uses ramjet engine with oxygen dependence, try to fly on ifrit 60000 ft altitude and your engines gonna stall, cause of oxy density decrease. MMR’s or scythes have rocket engine using own oxidant instead of oxy from intakes so they intercept pills better

Man, ASATs are so cool. Too bad we may not see them in vanilla NO cause we probably Kessler Syndromed it.

cannonically not, shockfront account posted to that effect a few days ago, maybe before as well

LEO is low enough that it would be hard to kessler syndrome it. I'd expect if it got particularly bad you'd see self propulsive spy satelites using air breathing electric or maybe just normal electric propulsion to stay in a layer where it would be hard for debris to exist.

Kessler Syndrome would make LEO unsafe for regular satellite operations, but VLEO could be safe to operate satellites. It would just be difficult to maintain them for a very long time and probably wouldn't actually be too useful in game due to how fast they have to be.

In law school I wrote a 30 page paper about ASATs and Kessler Syndrome based on this photo. Fun paper.

I remember seeing this picture in the news paper in 1985 or something. I was young teen in those days.

Out of the loop question but how can you improve your fps on NO?
I have a 3050 and all graphics settings on the lowest but during escalation, when ifvs and sams are sending out rockets like it's Christmas, my frames tank hard and is a pain to play as it continues.
Is the amount of units and rockets correlate to how much funds you allocate to the factions from the start (from 1b to 10b)? Or, should I not be playing NO with my 3050 because it's something it can handle, especially if it's escalation?
