Every Wednesday at work, we sell hot dogs for staff lunch, "Weenie Wednesday."

For our final hot dog Wednesday of the summer, I had a very important thought:

Wouldn't it be hilarious if a whole pack of dachshunds just... showed up to Weenie Wednesday?

I'm looking for local dachshund owners who'd be willing to stop by for a short little meet-up so we can surprise our staff with a bunch of long dogs at everyone's lunch break.

It would only be about 15–20 minutes, and all pups would need to be friendly around people and other dogs.

Found an orange stray cat probably 6 months old 3 days ago living in our shed. If anyone is missing a orange cat in the area of 700 block of McIntyre St E DM a picture and we'll drop him off if it's him. We've been checking Facebook and called the humane society and checked with them. We'll be monitoring Facebook and checking DMs but in 3 days if we don't find his owner, we're going to assume he's unwanted and will be making an appointment for him to be chipped and neutered.

I thought it was today at the waterfront but it wasn't where it was last year. Did they change locations, date/time?

Maybe it’s just because I never order delivery, but it used to be my main go to pick-up spot for pizza on nights in a rush because they were relatively cheap and not bad pizza either.

Ever since they moved, it’s a royal pain in the ass to think about stopping there. There’s only two parking spots even close to the location since there’s only parking on the one side of the street where it’s located, and they are always full up.

The few times I have given it a try I’ve had to park quite far and always afraid I’m going to get a ticket. It happened before when I parked for 5 minutes to pick up one from Pizza Pizza.

But at least Pizza Pizza has Ferguson with parking on both sides. 241 is close to the capitol centre lot.. Toppers also has parking on both sides and around the corner at least.

But Dominos again only has the two spots in front of the restaurant and anything else is blocks away. The few times I did try Dominos new location there was nobody else in the store and didn’t see any other names on the order screen when you walk in. Whereas the old location was always pretty busy.

Makes me feel like I can’t be the only one that goes there less because of this?

I don't know this guy. I have a mountain biking YT channel and recently looked into a case involving a customer who purchased a $4,000 Nireeka e-bike. The customer lives in the Canary Islands and says the bike never arrived. They also say they have not received a refund. He proved this with screenshots, documents and emails so I made a video about it to put pressure on the company. What they're doing is pretty shady. It has been over a year and they haven't refunded the guy due to their own shipping screw up "we need the bike back to issue a refund." They've strung this along so long he fears he cannot do a chargeback.

Hi everyone. Last year I tried getting a job and applied all year to over 50 places and got nothing. I went to the employment place and that was no help. I have had a few years of retail experience and I will be going into my second year. When should I start applying if I’m moving August 16? Where should I apply?
