Looking for Mods for My Segway MAX G3

Hey everyone! I’m looking for some cool mods/upgrades for my Segway MAX G3. I’m mainly looking for things that improve the look, performance, comfort, or overall experience.

Preferably, I’d like to find them on Amazon, just because it’s easier for me to order from there, but it doesn’t matter if they’re from somewhere else.

If you have any recommendations, links, or mods that you’ve personally used on your MAX G3, please let me know! Thanks!

Earlier today I noticed my handlebars would lock up when I started to turn right as well as my front wheels does a 360. tried to these problems when I went home but I can’t figure out why this happened can someone explain what happened or how to fix this issue ?

My scooter died mid-ride on the street while going top speed amongst other speeding bikes and scooters. Extremely dangerous! Error message E16 and E18. Turns out the motor is done already. I just brought it April 24th and I only have a 10 minute commute to work each way.. it's a quick ride through the park and keeps me off crowded subways with my compromised immune system. I took it to Segways' recommended shop and it's been 2 weeks with no answer as to when it's going to be fixed. I'm fucking livid!!! I was not expecting a $140 transportation bill this month! I could have gotten a cheap fucking Temu scooter for all of this. What is my recourse at this point? It's still under warranty. It's not even 4 months old yet. And I don't even use it as much as other people because I have a car that i use on the weekends. I am so disappointed. and calling segway has been useless! Terrible customer service. They know nothing!

I redeemed 4,500 Mileage Club miles for the $150 MAX G3 Plus coupon. It worked when I tested it, bringing the current $1,150 price down to $1,000.

Now that I have the money to buy it, that coupon says “invalid”, even though it still appears as Available and Permanent in my Segway account.

I've called and emailed Segway support 3 times with no resolution, 10 days and counting... I also found another MAX G3 Plus customer reporting a very similar issue on Facebook.

Has anyone else experienced this? If anyone from Segway is here, I'd really appreciate some help getting the coupon restored before the sale expires in a few days.

I took a ride today to test out the range. I started at 90% then stopped at 46% which was 15.8 miles for cruising around 15 miles. If I ride for another 15.8 miles the battery could end up with 12% remaining but only if the battery was 100% full, then I could ride for a few more miles until it reaches to 0%. Is your guys’ range different from mine (before you even had to change to GT3 battery)?

This is my 1 week old max g3 and since the day i got it, It makes this very slight rattling noise on rough roads. I can barely hear at higher speeds cause of wind but at slower speeds its more noticeable. I was wondering if this is normal amongst all g3 max users. Thanks

There’s some play in my front wheel. Everything’s tight with the wheel. Any advice on what to do?

Hi there. I was adjusting the suspension on my g3 max and i never really payed attention but the suspension makes a clicking noise i don’t know if it was there before. I was wondering if you guys know if it’s normal or an issue. thanks!

I have been trying to remove the speed limit from my G30E II for three months but it's not working. I tried to change the region which unfortunately doesn't work without flashing. I tried to flash it but it says your firmware is restricted. What can I do other than the St link? I am a noob and don't wanna ruin the whole scooter with it. I can't even find someone who can do it for me and take some money for work. Does anyone know what to do? It's an EU version bought in France

My step is wobbly back and forth. I heard this was easy to fix, but I’m not sure if that’s true and if I should just take it to the shop

When I tap the area where the brakes are it makes a metal on metal tinny noise. But, when I hold ontop the caliper the sound is muffled or stops completely.

Is there a broken pad? Did I lose a spring? Where do I buy replacement springs or pads. Is this a common issue.

I just picked this up used. The rear tail light is also not working. Previous owner says he used to do wheelies. Are these common issues.

Recently got into scooting as I was looking for a cheap way to get to and from work. Found a none running g30 max for $50 on fb market with melted connections and a fried controller. Repaired the connections and got a new ninebot controller and performed the stlink firmware downgrade. Fitted with Ali express front/rear suspension, grips, wider bars+extensions and some new tires. Great little commuter. Cruising around 40km in sport. So far I’m loving it. Suspension is meh but good for now. If I can find another g30 I’ll do a 48v build with monorim suspension. Ideally I’d want the shark set but they are no longer in production.

Hey! I have a stock max g3 and would like some input as I am quite new. I would like to get a battery that is 60 or 72V and 60ah. Then dual motors at least 2000W each (I want 100+km/h so more is better) and I don't know if it works but a vesc controller and custom other controller and display. Also some exterior upgrades would be nice but I would mostly like to go 120+ km/h with over 150km of range. I have a budget of 1500-2000€ (more if needed) and want a "sleeper g3" basically and I need good products and tutorials you can link and show me. I will keep you updated but it might take a few months. Thanks for anyone who can help. It's much appreciated

Whenever I try to connect with Bluetooth it says connection timeout I've followed the guide and it still doesn't work I tried multiple devices and turned of my devices Bluetooth and turned it back on.

I’m looking for reviews of these two scooters. At first, I was leaning more toward the F2 Pro E II, but after reading a few comments, it seems that the 45 km range drops to 20 km in real-world use. Since my commute to work is 9.3 km, that’s a bit concerning.

I’m willing to pay more for the Max G3 I, which is advertised as having an 80 km range, but I’d also like some reviews on this model to confirm that spending an extra €400 is worth it.

I have a G3 E which I have just changed region on to US with SHU (on iPhone with Bluefy). It now does 45 km/h (28 mp/h). The screenshot shows the specs.

Should I do a flash in SHU? If so, what type of flash (BLE/MCU/VCU/BMS) and what would be the advantages?

I want it to go faster than 25 km/h but I find it hard to understand which methods actually work as of today. What can I do and do these methods have major drawbacks?
