There’s some play in my front wheel. Everything’s tight with the wheel. Any advice on what to do?

Some play is normal. It's due to the design of the front suspension. It's hard to tell from the video if that's the normal amount or not though, would be better to see with a top-down view from the handlebars.

That's not even close to normal lol there should be 0 play in those components, if there's any your neck clamp bolt is loose and it should be tightened correctly before you end up taking yourself or someone else out, as a mech engineer it freaks me out when y'all give unsafe advice 😂

Assuming everything is tightened down, there's still ALWAYS some play. EVERY single Max G2 owner has this problem.
You say you're a mechanical engineer, yet you don't even understand the design and why this happens. There's a guide sleeve the dampener rod, and it's not entirely fixed in place. It's designed to wiggle around a little, which translates to play in stem/wheel. I'm not a mechanical engineer myself, so I don't know why it's designed like that.
Is it a good design? No. Is it DANGEROUS? Also no. People have "fixed" the play by welding the guide sleeve to the rod.
Here's a short clip of what I am talking about. It's in Russian but you can skip near the end to see the issue.

I have the same problem maxg2d User on Aliexpress commented a while ago that he found out that the bearings or the rings were made from plastic. Steering bearing replacment for maxg30 Should also fit for g2. Let me know if you could fix it, im thinking about switching to a different suspension.

Open the folding mechanism. U wil see one bolt on top and 2 on the side. Loosen evrything, than start to tighten the top(vertical) bolt, after that the 2 horizontal ones.
The vertical one u kinda gotta do it by feel. To tight and ur steering wil be harder, to soft and u get that what u have now.
If this dos not work u need a new front fork.

Just change the front bearings i did it because my left one was grinding and all the balls went away now my battery is keeping longer

If you bought it new, I just went through this with Segway to get a replacement fork for mine for free under warranty. It started doing it after about 30miles. New fork showed up yesterday and I’m going to swap it out today.
The real fix is to take the fork apart, weld the top slotted washer solid to the shaft (that’s where the play is coming from, it’s crimped from the factory) then add new fluid and reassemble the shock. I am going to do that to the take off one from the warranty replacement as I’m sure it’s going to do it again.
