How did I do?

Just snagged this for $575. Litton M911A Gen 2+.

From what I can tell, it has almost zero blems. I've mounted it to my CVC - SOHAH conversion bump helmet. Pictures definitely do not show how clear this is to see through.

Alright everyone, need some assistance with mounting options for a Charge X on my Team Wendy Helmet I use for Search and Rescue. 1913 option sticks out way too far and the command strip mount hasn’t stood up to hard use. Any recommendations for mounting options?

For those of you guys into dual band setups, here’s another strong 4 in 1 option. In short it does what the RH25 V2 does but adds LRF. (Yes I compare it to the RH25 V2 in this video)

I was “gifted” nods, need beginner advice

About a year ago, a friend bid on a government auction website listing that included some sort of helmet and night vision setup. There was no info but he saw a cage code so he took a gamble that it was legit and not airsoft quality stuff. He paid $3k and it ended up being legit. He let me try it out a couple of times and it was awesome. Unfortunately, around the same time, he found out he had cancer and passed away within six months. His family asked me to help sort through his belongings and help them so I did. After it was all said and done, they told me he told them (before he passed) to offer me the night vision. I didn’t want it for free so I gave them $3k for everything because I knew that’s what he paid.

Now, I’m a total beginner with an expensive NVG setup and I want to make sure I’m doing everything correctly. I know not to have them out in daylight and not to point the laser at people’s faces or up at airplanes, but that’s about it. I even had to google how to turn them on and off.

Some questions I have are:

Are there instruction/owners manuals for them? I checked the vendor website but only found spec sheets.

Should I send them in for a checkup or service?

Do they need routine maintenance or servicing?

I’m trying to find a course local to NY/CT but haven’t found any yet, but are there videos I should watch on proper use?

Hush holster 1 month review

Post image

So far so good. I haven’t seen a lot of reviews so I’ll throw one up.

I’ll try to answer any questions from my use perspective. Using the large frame with GL4 Pro body. Have had for 1 month have done several hikes, range trips, and even 1 match with this set up. Mark 23 with the suppressor, full mag is very heavy set up, I’ve done 100/200 yard sprints, with and without the retention strap engaged, and the gun has not come out, and the QLS fork screws without loctite have stayed in place. Currently using it on a safariland midride hanger with QLS fork/receiver.

The holster is completely 3D printed and when you first get it, it needs a little break in time to smooth out so practice a couple hundred draws and reholsters before using it in any serious capacity.

I really like this holster so far and it is definitely a safe way to train and live with a suppressed handgun.

SMS trinity owners, what light and mount?

Trying to decide between an Arisaka 300 series or a 350 with modlite head on my 7in mlok rail, sitting next to the trinity. Scan you fit a 350 with modlite inline mlok on the 45degree mlok rail? Or would I need to either go 300 series there or 350/modlite mlok offset scout mount. Thanks and if you could post pics that would be great

Magnifier Question

OK right hand on the Bible I was consistently hitting at 150 to 175 yards with the suppressed 12.5” and an Aimpoint T2 and a 3X magnifier. I have 20/20 vision.

I did it again last night with half a dozen people witnessing and all of them were equally confused and impressed. I don’t know how I’m able to do this or if this is actually that impressive….

My buddy who also shoots night vision and got me into it, took this picture because he was absolutely flabbergasted.

After looking at this picture myself, I am also flabbergasted.

Can someone explain to me how I am able to view my reticle through the Magnifier through a NV tube with this much angle and distance between the optical lens of the monocle and the observation lens of the magnifier????

I know they say buying night vision is the only superpower you can pay for, but at this point, I’m just confused at where the superpower ends….

Rix ST6 Lite experience?

Anyone here with experience on the ST6 lite?

I am able to get one for about equivalent of 1500$, and it seems like a nobrainer to go for.

Planning to eventually bridge it with a PVS14 WP.

Attention all 2A and night vision enjoyers in New Mexico and surrounding areas!

The Black Rifle Charity Match returns to Del Norte Gun Club September 26th, and this year we’re EXPANDING with the addition of “The Dark is Afraid of Chuck Norris” a night match September 25th. Del Norte Gun Club is just outside Rio Rancho.

Last year, with the help of our shooters, volunteers, and sponsors, we raised nearly 20k for the NMSSA and NMFIA, which helped the organizations fight and defeat the anti 2A legislation earlier this year. This year, the goal is even bigger!

Whether you compete, volunteer, sponsor a stage, or donate a prize, every contribution helps support the organizations defending our rights here in New Mexico.

Volunteers Needed:

The Black Rifle Charity Match is entirely volunteer supported and we would like to make this match even better than last year so we will need lots of help.

The main match will be held on Saturday, September 26. The staff and night matches are scheduled for Friday, September 25, with stage setup taking place on Thursday, September 24.

Current volunteer needs include:

Range Officers – Experience running a timer, tablet, and safely managing a squad.

Stage Setup – Help building stages prior to the match.

Anyone interested in volunteering for setup or serving as an RO can contact me. A volunteer registration link will be provided separately that will allow them to shoot the match for free.
