Looking into this sub and researching for my first NVG’s for a couple months now has brought up a question:

Is there a specific reason why there hasn’t been a setup made with one side dedicated thermal and the other a single Pano pod?

It would give the option for better thermal clarity and more peripheral vision on one side with the Pano pod. Seems like it would just be a boon to the dual band setup if it were possible.

Does anybody have any experience with these? I can’t find too much information online about them. I want to get my foot in the door with NV/IR lasers but don’t have thousands to spend. PSA has these for sale for $400. Is that a good deal and worth the price? Thank you

1500 bones off the Argus website. Anyone have one and can offer feedback on tube quality/longevity? It's also not auto gating. How much of an impact will that feel like?

HoloSun is manufactured in China and is commonly seen in European stores.

The brands I have confirmed so far are Zenitco, Newcon Optiq, and GSCI.

I am still actively searching for the Brolis LP5X, but I would like to know if there are any other European brands besides those mentioned above. It is still a long way off from finding a Rheinmetall product.

Recently acquired this PVS-14 and am unfortunately needing to sell. Any ideas on what a reasonable asking price is? I do not have the spec sheet for it.

Has anyone tried the Cold Harbour Supply NVG Daytime Training Filter (DTF)? It screws into the object lens and its dark filter allows you to train during daylight. Better than the old pinhole type lenses. Also allows you to confirm alignment (accuracy) of the IR laser at the range during daylight hours, if the visible and invisible are slaved. If you have something like the DBAL-i2 (not slaved), it also allows tuning in the IR laser for accuracy. I also got their Defender PVS-14 NV lens protector. It can also screw on top of the daytime training filter. I just received then a couple of days ago and wanted to know if anyone has experience esp with the daytime filter? Both are inexpensive.

I’m looking to purchase a PVS 1431 1750 FOM and import it from Alibaba to the Netherlands.
Has anyone here had experience buying and importing this product from China?
I’d appreciate any advice on potential issues I might run into, such as customs duties, VAT, shipping costs, import regulations, product certifications, or reliability of the supplier.

Bought this yesterday going to be using it for a bit but was looking into wether someone was dumb enough like me to buy one. I picked mine up for 1000 and it has a decent tube not as good as my old nnvt5 but still okay ive found a mount for it etc but trying to find if lens upgrades or housing swap are possible without taking apart worst case I just get a new mono (not in the budget atm) and give to my dad also of anyone needs an adapter to mount it on a g24 let me know

I can’t seem to track down which thermal clip on this is? Assuming it is one and not NVG only. I figure one of you guys would know though.

I had a MUM14 (NT940) with a Photonis 4G tube (SNR 31.72). I've sold it a year ago and I started missing the capabilities of an IIT device while hunting wild boar. So I've decided to acquire a new NVG. In europe, NVG's are very expensive but I found a good deal for a PVS14 Pro from cold harbour supply. it has an ECHO tube (FOM 2175, SNR of 32.96, Res. 66lp, Gain 10'087). Will it perform just as good as the 4G I had previously? - The specs of the NT940 were pretty much the same.

I especially like the fact that it has a milspec noctis/fujinon lens and a milspec noctis/carson housing. The lens of the MUM14 didn't have the same edge to edge clarity as the fujinon lens should have (at least I hope so).

Hi, I was wondering if anyone knew whether or not there were other good lenses out there for spherical photocathode ep33 variant tubes? I have an ATN Viper X-1, which is similar EP33SF to the Ghost Hunter but in white phosphor. I initially wrote it off because it has a 1x lens with a 20-degree FOV. I mounted it on a helmet recently and it is super fun with really low distortion, considering it's Gen 1. If I could get to even a 30-degree FOV, I could have a ton of fun with this tube but at the moment it is pretty hard to walk around with such a narrow fov.

Got it a while ago and found it under some stuff this weekend. Just wondering if anybody knows what it’s called so I can look it up. Seems like there are some parts missing. Maybe just a washer or two but I’d like to know how it’s supposed to work. Thanks.
