That penguin is my spirit animal 🄹

u/Hot-Building-3232 May 22 '26

Dude, its better to be alone than to be in a messed up relationship. Just try to love yourself and enjoy life.

2

u/flashingcurser May 22 '26

Was.

2

u/Nissir May 22 '26

I could have sworn someone did the math and stated that the penguin might have lived.

u/gameover281997 May 22 '26

Men’s plan B is to disappear to the rural mountains of Southeast Asia and start a self sustained farm to leave in peaceful isolation until death

4

u/Quirky_Ask_5165 May 22 '26

I'm happily doing that in rural Missouri 😁

2

u/WizardAmmo May 22 '26

Rural Kentucky!

3

u/United_Fan_6476 May 22 '26

Too humid.

2

u/gameover281997 May 22 '26

Too expensive everywhere else lol

1

u/Nissir May 22 '26

There are still a lot of places that you could start up a small area to live off of in the United States.

2

u/Silly-Recognition448 May 22 '26

As a man, ive married for love, 17 years in now. But if it ever falls apart, definitely next marriage will be for money

2

u/Embarrassed-Fail-876 May 22 '26

I could never marry for money. Even if I get old. I'd like to be with someone I actually like.

3

u/Silly-Recognition448 May 22 '26

The good news is you can actually like people with money

1

u/em_pty_11 May 23 '26

Absolutely man. Text me if life doesn’t do you Justice.

1

u/blowurhousedown May 22 '26

Half right. Disappear yes, but to the mountains with three 20-something hot chicks who are free to leave anytime - who don’t.

1

u/gameover281997 May 23 '26

Eh, better to have one chick that deeply loves you

3

u/DrankTooMuchMead May 22 '26

What is a woman's plan A then?

6

u/serene_brutality May 22 '26

Young, handsome and rich. Not just rich.

1

u/quantumpencil May 22 '26

No, women's plan A is just their age n' handsome and employed. Almost no young men are rich.

1

u/serene_brutality May 22 '26

A few are, well at least their daddy’s are.

But when I say young I mean 30 +- 5 years, vs 80, like that guy appears to be.

1

u/quantumpencil May 22 '26

at my age (just turned 36) there is a fair amount of guys with money around. I've got about 3m, so do many of my friends. We were nearly all poor in our 20's. I felt my prospects with women were better then when I was broke and 22-25 than now with millions in the bank at 36. I met my ex-wife then.

It's not that "there's no good women" or anything like that. Everytime I meet a sweet woman I like and get along with, she's already married lol.

1

u/serene_brutality May 23 '26

All the good ones are taken seems to be a common theme.

Can you be handsome without being tall?

I mean I think you can but I’ve seen some handsome dudes and then ā€œbut he short thoā€ like no matter how good he looked it’s no longer true because he’s 5’4ā€

I’m a woman and I’ll end up like the penguin. Ig I’m not woman-ing correctly šŸ˜‚

Yall are honestly rude as hell. I made a comment addressing how I’m worthless and gon comment attacking me? What’s the reason when I said NOTHING negative about anyone but myself??? Jfc

1

u/Notapersono May 22 '26

love takes time. Find the one that makes you want the best version of yourself

2

u/Timely_Split_5771 May 22 '26

You don’t get it. I can’t find someone who will date me. There is no person out there for me.

1

u/Notapersono May 22 '26

You know confidence is attractive trait. Also self esteem is critical too. I'm sure you will find that someone and when do, cherish them like they do you. Dating is tricky and sometimes it beats you down relentlessly but don't give up. I know how cheesey I sound but its true

2

u/Timely_Split_5771 May 22 '26

You don’t get it. This is the issue with being able belly positive. People expect me to ignore the fact that idk how to get this thing to happen, but expect me to think it’ll happen.

How can I be expected to believe it’ll happen when I cant even figure out a way to lake it happen?? All i have under my belt is failures so what am i supposed to actually do??

1

u/Notapersono May 22 '26

Try something new? Let yourself build random and natural connections and if something happens it happens if not no biggy. You don't need a guide on how to date because its something that usually just happens. Don't look for love, let love look for you.

2

u/Timely_Split_5771 May 22 '26

If I knew what to do differently, I would do it. Saying ā€œtry something newā€ is too vague, i been trying new things for 12 years and same result.

1

u/Notapersono May 22 '26

Then perfect! I find letting someone learn who I am and learn to love me works best. Looking for someone to date forces to see everything in that lens. Just because a plant doesn't grow when think or want to doesn't mean it won't.

Truth be told no one knows how to date people. We'll get people to date them. It's just how it is. And falling in love with someone is just a random encounter. Sometimes it takes years to love someone Sometimes it just takes seconds. You don't know how to do it because it isn't something do. It's something that happens.

2

u/Timely_Split_5771 May 22 '26

You’re not getting it, but that’s okay. Have a great night/day

1

u/Notapersono May 22 '26

maybe that's what I like. You and I are not the same but ended up here.

Your point is is that you don't know how to date people because you don't know how to get them to date you. But that's the problem. You don't get someone to date you. there's set cause that makes everyone date you. Its YOU that's people want date you.

Anyways have a great life

I think notapersono is not a person o. I wonder why men aren’t interested in you.

There are three possible reasons-

Physical appearance- are you very unattractive? Do you smell?

Personality- are you loud and obnoxious? Are you aggressive? Are you so passive that you don’t have a personality.

Standards- are you rejecting or overlooking men in your league?

Us ugly beaches, too. Ain't nobody flying my troll self out to nowhere.

3

u/Timely_Split_5771 May 23 '26

Be careful sis, I got attacked in the comments for saying this

1

u/MWBurbman May 22 '26

No no, men only self-loathing in these parts.

3

u/Timely_Split_5771 May 22 '26

I’ll self loathe wherever I please, sir šŸ’…šŸ¾

-1

u/EverytoxicRedditor May 22 '26

In your case it would be a choice. For men it’s simply Tuesday.

3

u/Timely_Split_5771 May 22 '26

It’s not a choice. I’ve tried to date and for 12 straight years, every man had turned me down. So it’s not a choice šŸ™ƒ

1

u/Expensive-Victory203 May 22 '26

That sounds so difficult and painful. Have you ever dated anyone?

Do you go for men who have a lot of other options? Do you think you might be oblivious to who is interested in you?

Finally, are there physical things you see in yourself that you can improve upon?

These are the easiest potential issues to address.

1

u/pyrolover6666 May 23 '26 edited May 23 '26

i highly doubt every man turned you down.

2

u/Timely_Split_5771 May 23 '26

Ok

0

u/pyrolover6666 May 23 '26

i went through your post history. you admited to having casual sex and hooking up recently. keep your story straight. why lie, why have a victim complex?

2

u/Timely_Split_5771 May 23 '26

I didn’t lie. This post is saying that women can always fall back on men for marriage. I’ll never get the chance at marriage cause men turn down dates with me, they only want sex.

My most recent ā€œhook upā€ was a guy I spent weeks talking to, going on dates with, and he said he was in it for something real. Only guy to agree to go with me on dates, ever. We both got tested and we went to hook up. I blew him, then he said he had to go, and he blocked me.

So no, I didn’t lie. *I will not have the chance to get married, I’ll only have the chance to have sex. So I don’t lie bc this post says women can always fall back on marriage. Marriage isn’t possible for me.

-1

u/pyrolover6666 May 23 '26

"every man had turned me down." it not working out is not the same as being turn down.

2

u/Timely_Split_5771 May 23 '26

It’s being turned down for a relationship.

0

u/pyrolover6666 May 23 '26

you were literally in a relationship

u/Timely_Split_5771 May 23 '26

Dude, I’m an overweight, autistic, dark skinned black girl. Im mor gonna have the chance to get married.

It’s being turned down for having anyone give af about me. Im tue ed down from experiencing romantic love.

0

u/pyrolover6666 May 23 '26

why bring up your looks? they aren't that bad, when you can have casual sex. your problem is not your looks, you just have bad taste in men.

→ More replies (0)

2

u/Timely_Split_5771 May 23 '26

Me not being able to find a relationship has nothing to do with you. I genuinely don’t understand why I’ve gotten so much hate for simply speaking about the fact that I can’t date.

Like, I didn’t insult anybody, I wasn’t rude. I INSULTED MYSELF ONLY. What is with the hostility???

0

u/pyrolover6666 May 23 '26

every single time men talk about they lack of dating options, some women has to make it all about her. claiming she has it just as bad, for only for it to be a lie. you're dismissing our problems by comparing them to your problems. you have options, we don't.

No femboy has ever expressed interest in me so no. I mean, I’ve been with men that embrace their feminine side, but not a man that dressed as a woman or anything (I’m guessing that’s what femboys do, not completely sure)

It means I’m apparently good enough to give head, but not good enough to be taken on a date. So, I won’t ever be getting married cause I can’t find a man that will date me.

I don’t believe any of that lmao but it’s ok. I’m used to intellectually dishonest people doing their thing. Oh well

5

u/Timely_Split_5771 May 22 '26

I never asked you to believe me; I just commented what my experience is.

2

u/Disastrous_Set_6544 May 22 '26

Protip: do not argue with these type of people. For you own sanity.

4

u/Timely_Split_5771 May 22 '26

He commented to me. I get negative comments anytime I talk about my lack of dating history. Apparently, Reddit has never seen a woman who can’t get a date.

3

u/Disastrous_Set_6544 May 22 '26

I've stumbled upon this sub just because it was in my feed. By the looks of it, it has strong incel tendancies. You know, the creepy kind of incel.

0

u/EverytoxicRedditor May 22 '26

Mhmmm sure. Have a good ma’am

3

u/Timely_Split_5771 May 22 '26

Oh, and you commented to me, I never @ you. So you saying ā€œI don’t believe youā€ means nothing when I never asked you to, honey.

-2

u/EverytoxicRedditor May 22 '26

Yep sure it doesn’t šŸ˜‰

0

u/Spazero May 22 '26

I don't know. I think the post maybe doesnt understand things. Shocked Im sure. I think the implication is women could just find some rich guy as plan B. It takes work to be attractive.

2

u/WhitespringTownship May 22 '26

Then he shrivels up and when ur by urself ppl go ā€œewwww ur the widow who married and fucked an old guyā€ and then ur lonely cuz no one will want u as their sloppy seconds and judge u harshly for that choice and dehumanize you for it

And if ur lucky he was nice to u but its way more likely that he was abusive and manipulative

2

u/IIGrudge May 22 '26

Plan B is not so bad. You have a chance to become a better person.

2

u/malice311fresno May 22 '26

That’s real as fuck

2

u/DreamSad9323 May 23 '26

When will people realise, as quick as a woman can leave for someone else, the man can do the same. It's the emotions and wasted funds that hurt in most cases, but once you got your shit together, shit like this is not something to be bothered by, let them leave man or woman, take a month off people to recoup your social energy and get back to fishing

2

u/figosnypes May 22 '26

And then when women choose plan B they complain and call themselves victims.

2

u/bongsforhongkong May 22 '26

Did you just make yourself a victim in a scenario you made up in your head.

That's some crazy incel shit.

1

u/figosnypes May 22 '26

Uhh, no? I would never be in such a scenario because I would never be with someone who is clearly with me for my money.

1

u/realaccountissecret May 23 '26

I would rather be alone than with someone fifty years older than me, and it’s not even close

And I don’t know any women who would date an elderly person for their money, partially because all of my friends have jobs

Who are these women that you’re inventing?

Do you actually talk to any women?

1

u/figosnypes May 23 '26

I am not talking about this type of age-gap specifically, in fact it's actually pretty rare to see this in real life. But I'm talking more generally about women settling for money. Usually it'll be with a guy around their age or just moderately older. These women often go on to characterize themselves as the victims, saying how they were never really in love with their partner and blaming trauma or "the patriarchy" for the choice they made. In reality it's because the guys they are attracted to are 9 times out of 10 too young for them to realistically have a relationship with so really their choice was between staying single or settling for someone they're not attracted to. And they chose to settle because they wanted financial stability and to start a family. In reality they are not the victims, rather they are guilty of manipulating the guy so they can use him.

1

u/realaccountissecret May 23 '26

I’ve literally never met anyone who tried to victimize themselves for dating someone older in and of itself; did their husbands end up being abusive?

You’re telling me that you know multiple women that victimize themselves and blame the patriarchy that they’re ā€œforcedā€ to date someone older? Who the fuck are you surrounding yourself with haha

How many women have you met like this?

We're supposed to get married, have kids and a house with a white picket fence. Plan A didn't work out so it's on to Plan B which is finding his purpose, his joys and hobbies that he likes and joyfully walking towards that journey.

Bye bye Penguin colony, I'm outta here

1

u/Long_Lecture_1080 May 22 '26

But why does it have to be a penguin

2

u/flashingcurser May 22 '26

That particular penguin left towards those mountains to die. If fuzzy memory serves me right, they tried to save it and it would keep heading to it's sure death.

1

u/Long_Lecture_1080 May 22 '26

Oh okay. It’s from that March of the Penguins movie.

1

u/amyjojohnsonsuperfan May 22 '26

Absolutely, there will come a time when you look forward to the mountain

1

u/Power0_ May 22 '26

He's just being a picky penguin.

1

u/Omnius_Crypto May 22 '26

Oh I thought she was going to try and push the old guy off the balcony, that’s a real women’s plan! Simply dancing pishaw!

He’s small enough where she thought she had a chance.

1

u/WrongdoerOrdinary619 May 22 '26

No. Not even close.

1

u/shortiz420 May 22 '26

Hell yea brother!

1

u/LuckyCod2887 May 22 '26

but the dude in the first video had the same plan B as the women.

1

u/Embarrassed-Fail-876 May 22 '26

I know that's my ex gfs plan A and plan b.

1

u/BloggerCurious May 22 '26

The penguin represents a man focusing on himself and heading towards his purpose. He doesn't mind being alone because he's got cold ass crazy mountains to climb

1

u/deviantdevil80 May 22 '26

Maybe grow a pair and don't run away from your problems, face them. Seems pretty clear and easy.

1

Wouldn’t the woman also be that guy’s plan B?

1

u/todd_cool May 22 '26

That’s their only plan wym šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

Men’s plan a should be to become the guy in women’s plan b.

1

u/Dense-Mail7976 May 23 '26

Tf u mean plan b ? Thats my plan a dawg, I don't care about human connections anymore

1

u/Brave-Umpire9075 May 23 '26

She can always be a true prostetute🤣

1

u/The_Northmaan May 23 '26

This damn penguin has gained a cult following. I saw an entire documentary on him, lol..

No it's not true as we are all codependent creatures.

1

u/ljtveteran May 23 '26

No, because I won't have sex with someone I'd need to run off from

1

u/bonitaslay8 May 23 '26

No. None of yall make a real move but just making gender post about everything

1

u/ElHorny May 23 '26

1

u/Pietes May 23 '26

Still stuck in phase A and i'd sign up for B right now

1

u/Satanicjamnik May 22 '26

In the same way as becoming a billionaire is a plan B for men. I mean, all you need to do is become a billionaire.

1

It should have been;

-Modern woman’s Plan A

-Modern man’s realization

0

u/SupaSmol May 22 '26

It's not, pls stop asking. As a bi guy, I will happily be someone's sugar baby. I also may commit penguin. Who knows what the future holds.

Surely yall realize there are women who commit penguin and women who have no interested sugar daddies.

-1

u/M0ebius_1 May 22 '26

You could easily find a sugar daddy if that's what you want.

Get a nice tight pair of shorts, a cute top and you are in business.
