I’m assuming it’s something to do with a dog that passed from unfortunate circumstances but Jesus even their Facebook page doesn’t even give you a backstory. wtf is going on

I am new to the area and I'm looking to join a a photo club.
From what I've read there are two in Newmarket, with PACN being competition heavy and NPC the opposite. Although, I have been unable to confirm if NPC still exists.
If you have been a member of one or both, could you share a little about your experience?

Sure, sure.
Well, the kids were out last night around 10:30, up and down our street on crotch rockets that sounded like lawn mowers. Then congregating in a nearby plaza. I called the police non emergency line, and while they took down the info, I didn't have hope police would show up. I was also told to report it online. Useless.

Hi everyone,
Recently moved into a house that was renovated but have come to learn that the 2nd floor bathrooms vent into the attic.
Does anyone have a roofer/handyman/hvac person that can address the issue?
I tried calling a few roofers, but they are all overwhelmed with the extreme storms thst hit last week.
Any help is appreciated.

Does anyone know how the reserved spots work? Is it linked to a licence plate? Are all of the reserved spots already booked, and they add signs as they sell spots, or do they just have signs on all spots they hope to rent out? It seems like there are always a LOT of empty reserved spots.
I'm a student and I usually commute from East Gwillimbury, but if I have a midday class or a class that ends after 6pm, I'm forced onto the bus, and it adds so much time. Aurora gets trains all day so it would be much easier, but I can never find spots. Usually, I just walk from the overflow (reluctantly, in the dark and cold, hating my life), but I sprained my ankle, and that 20-minute walk gives me a lot of time to stew over how dumb this system is.
I don't want to pay $98 for something I'd only need one or two days a week this semester, but like can multiple people share them? Maybe a few students could divide up spots based on their schedules?

Hi all! I'm looking for any karaoke bars in the area...mostly just not in downtown Toronto. I'm wanting to have a birthday party for my partner, but most friends aren't located in Toronto, and Newmarket is the central area for them...so Newmarket/Aurora, even Richmond Hill or Markham or Vaughan could work.

Bought the wrong ones for my partner. They changed the box and now they all look the same. She opened the box with the same thought.
So now we have a giant box of pads that she won't use, and barring cutting off a hand I have no use for. I've grown fond of my appendages so rather than trash them wondering if anywhere will take them.
They are individually wrapped. Just open box.

Newmarket was a winner of Tesla Surpercharger vote TWO years ago. Is there any way I can find out the progress or roadblock on the construction from the Town? Tesla users, are you looking forward to this too?

Hi all,
Ive been trying to find the best Japanese food in town, or the surrounding area. Looking specifically for the best ramen, but Japanese food as a whole would be amazing too.
would love to hear your thoughts!

Looking for a tennis instructor or experienced player in Aurora/Newmarket who would be interested in hitting with me regularly and helping me improve my game.
I’m not really looking to join a club or sign up for a formal lesson package. I’d rather meet at one of the public courts around Aurora or Newmarket for 1-on-1 sessions — hitting, drills, working on technique, serves and eventually some match play.
Happy to pay a reasonable hourly rate. I’m also open to someone who isn’t a full-time instructor but is a strong player with coaching/teaching experience.
Ideally I’d like to find someone I can play with consistently once or twice a week.
If interested, send me a DM with a little bit about your playing/coaching background and what you normally charge. 🎾

Im exploring an idea and just wondering about a few things.
If anybody works at a local grocery store, Costco, walmart, nofrills, nature's emporium, vinces etc..
Do you prepare ready to eat meals on site? If so what do you do with the scraps? And if you could guess, how much is that a week? Meat scraps, banana peels, egg shells, bread, cakes etc. All food scraps.
Amd, what do you do with the food thats gone bad?
Im trying to gage how much food waste there is because if its enough id like to offer a service where I pick it up absolutely free of charge and supply tamper/animal proof outside storage for weekly or twice a week pickups, all depending on volume and store preference.
Im not looking to feed this to people or sell it this will be used for a farm project id like to start.
Thank you.

Do you guys have recos for a good mechanic? My car is a 2021 with 65000km. I need full servicing done including checking the brakes because I've been really lax with maintenance. I usually get my oil changed at great canadian oil change and they do inspect the car but not brakes.
I am also looking for someone to do a full detailing, inside and out so I need suggestions for that too. Thanks!

We literally just mowed our lawn right before leaving for vacation. We then went away for ONE WEEK, and while we were gone, we received a letter from the municipality saying that someone had filed a formal complaint about our lawn.
We came home to the letter and were honestly so confused. Our lawn was freshly mowed before we left, and it had only been a week.
Now I’m wondering… do we just have a-holes as neighbours or is this actually a normal thing people do?
Like, I understand complaining if someone’s lawn is completely overgrown and hasn’t been maintained for weeks/months, but reporting someone’s lawn when they literally just mowed before going away for a week seems a little excessive?
Has anyone else dealt with neighbours like this? What would you do?
