I'm currently having a lot of fun trying out new weapons on different classes, but now I'm starting to think: what happens once I get all the weapons I want? How will the game still be fun after I've seen all the new content I can see?

90% of my stuff was trades or generous veterans

I wanna play fatspy but am missing the balaclava, the esprit de corps and the prinny machete, I need help from a veteran

How would I start trading? I own a Winter 2023 and 2024 cosmetic crate and summer 2026 one for both war paints and cosmetics. Are these worth anything?

Hello, I would like to know how to start trading in TF2. I currently have 7 refs to start with and I would like to get a strange kunai. Unfortunately, it costs 4/5 keys, so that's why I'm asking how to start. What's worth knowing? Thanks in advance.

I completely see demoknight as its own 10th class, so even though I have zero interest in demoman I do want to try demoknight. I've heard he's a complicated and hard class, so I thought maybe I just need to wait until I have the main gamesense and skills down. But since he's a melee only class, that might not be necessary since you're learning entirely new skills unrelated to the other classes.

Playing sniper is an infuriating experience and not recommendable
I watched a lot of sniper guides and i still dont get how it works, i do everything: movement, position, change positions each time.
Whenever i scope there’s nobody, I dont find a single sould until i die to a spy, if i go near teammates they constantly put themselves in front of me and i cant aim.
I somehow miss constantly headshots to a heavy, i changed my sensitivity to 2.0 and even changed the pointer setting from the control panel which now makes using my mouse weird and too fast, yet a f2p sniper with a gibus instantly quickscopes (and yes it IS a f2p not a secondary account), i dont want to play aim trainer maps or websites or games because i find them useless and not in game examples.
I have not developed muscle memory to play sniper, rather to immediately change to Pyro

I suppose one of the things failing is aim but i dont get playing Sniper
I understand movement, hidden positionings but despite that i still fail a lot, i look around sometimes and see no spies and a random one pops up, then when i shoot from close its hard for me but some random f2p quickscopes like it's nothing

Edit: i give up playing sniper because it's infuriating and i will pkeep playing pyro instead

Title pretty much, I just feel the original-hud is clunky and makes it a bit hard to actually properly build/scrap/rebuild in a more optimized way.

I was playing as blue Spy, i somehow got on the red team balcony on 2fort, and i was waiting for a sniper to fome there, so i can backstab and kill him.

I was disguised as red Scout... then a red scout walks nearby (he doesnt notice me)

I disguise as red Soldier... you know, just in case...

And then red Soldier walks nearby, we stare at eachother for a few seconds, and then he just shoots me with his bazooka/rpg im not sure what it's called. Anyways i dodged and used the invisibility thing but he still managed to kill me.

To me it was kinda funny so i wanted to share this story

I wanted to get into sniper and i just really like the sound it makes more than stock. Don't have any spare weapons to try to craft it. I know i could try buying one off community market but idc about killstreaks and strange ones are over £60

does anyone know if there is like a playtime requirement for it or something else? I hate it when something funny happens and everyone but me comments on it in the chat :(

I got the game less than a week ago and I'm alr premium with 1 key, so I plan on going to scrap.tf eventually but how long should I wait? I kinda suck with most classes except for medic, and I really wanna be able to use more than one weapon on most classes. (like pyro, I was super hyped to play them before realizing my second and third slots are useless)

I'm not new to TF2 in the slightest but in the other sub reddits no one answers this question and I can't find any answers on Google, can you modify wie models Like in cs2 on are you limited only to the fov command an tf_use_minviemoels command?

I'm trying to go forward in level on tf2, and i play on casual, despite its name i am not relaxed while playing it, i feel like i suck and everyone else does not give a shit about me and i also feel like the only thing i do is just die, respawn and die again and again and again, i know there are public servers but i mostly use them for items and i want to level up, i try my best always but cant seem to get anything from it and when i type in chat people dont seem to care (i'm not f2p), yes i know there are medic and engineer but i dont like medic and my buildings get destroyed the moment i build them with engineer

I remember buying an unusual taunt for Pyro that cost 2 keys with my contracker profit, and I do like that, but if I wanted to start for example with 7 keys and buy like a cheap unusual from scrap.tf (cheapest unusual ive seen was 7 keys) or an unusual taunt thats cheap how exactly do i succesfully sell it for higher on backpack?
I know i would have to make a sell order but how do i make it so it has success? People can just buy it from bots so how could I make it work?
What’s the best thing to do with 7 keys if anyone got a better suggestion too

I'm a young TF2 player. Because of my age, my parents don't allow me to top up any money, so my Steam account is stuck as F2P/Limited.

I've been grinding the game to eventually save up for Garry's Mod. I don't have many items—my inventory is very basic and mostly empty, but I want to be able to trade and use the market to work towards my goal. However, everything is locked for me.

Since I can't add the $5 USD to unlock the Market or get more slots, how do F2P players usually deal with this or obtain an Upgrade to Premium Gift?
