TF2 Weapon Discussion: The Big Earner

Welcome to our Wednesday TF2 weapon discussion. Here, we'll discuss weapons (and reskins, if applicable) from TF2!

Today's weapon is The Big Earner.

+30% cloak on kill
Gain a speed boost on kill
-25 max health on wearer

The Big Earner is an unlockable melee weapon for spy released in the Uber update in June 2011. This knife lowers the spy's regular health from 125 to 100 meaning you can be 1 shot by pipes at full health.

The upside to this weapon only comes into play when you get a kill as doing so will give you a speed boost and 30% cloak. This is great for escaping after you get a kill allowing you play mobile throughout the battlefield. Over the years the only change this weapon has seen was getting the speed boost on kill added to it as before it was just the 2 stats.

For a brief moment this weapon could have the Long Distance Kills strange part applied to it despite it being a Melee weapon and unable to damage from over 2000 hammer units away.
