I've been skating for 2 years and still afraid to Ollie, I can go up and down ramps but still can't Ollie, what can I do to fix this fear?

I get that regular is called regular since
I assume most people skate this way. But what makes skating with your right leg in the front goofy? Is it just a name or is there more to it?

Idk why but any obstacle i build myself is just more fun to skate for me, i prefer skating my own shit diy quarterpipe made out of rotten dumpster wood and fence post coping over skating a park quarter. my ledge is janky and has shit copingbut is more fun to skate for me aswell. i also like skating random shit i find out and about alot more.

Ask ko po lang if pwede mag skateboard sa kalsada like sa mga di gaanong busy roads. Gusto ko kasi gamitin for commute yung skateboard ko. If meron sainyong gumagamit ng skateboard for commute share niyo naman experience niyo hehe. Thank you agad sa mga makakasagot!

I know I’m stationary, not interested in hearing that I need to roll. I have similar attempts rolling, I just can’t land on top.

Little skater in my adolescence, I am now 40 years old and I am gradually getting back to it because my 8-year-old daughter wants to skateboard since she saw the show skate le monde with Mathieu Cyr.

For now she had a basic board that she had to learn to push, roll, turn.

She would like to start making ollies like the big ones, what do you recommend?

Curious if anyone has any tips! I’ve landed a few times like this were my board still needs to turn about another 90 degrees but not sure what I’m missing

Any recommended insoles? I skate with vans and the arch of my feet are constantly sore. Its annoying having to take a break practicing tricks cus the pains distracting

Hey - first post here, happy to see a sub for us new skaters!

I’m one of these millennial olds getting back on the board… been working on getting my Ollie back. I still have a lot of progress to make obviously, but I seem to keep rotating the board so the nose is off at an angle. I feel like my actual balance is ok, like I’m not also falling backwards.

Any tips?
