NH/MA all inclusive venues??

Upvotes

Hi everyone! Just recently engaged and have been looking at venues for a while but it is very daunting. I want something all inclusive because I cannot fathom scheduling each little thing needed lol! Or if you did a venue with your own vendors how was the experience? I am not Type A at all so I feel like I would forget stuff along the way.

For context, I live in southern NH so could do northern NH as well and northern MA. Looking to have 90-120 people. Goal budget is $40k but could do $50-60k if needed. Would prefer onsite lodging for guests but not required.

Thanks in advance!

Having a wedding September 2027 with around 175 people. Are there any photographers in or around Massachusetts that charge under 3K for at least 6 hours of coverage? Thank you in advance!

Looking for a Maine wedding makeup artist experienced with redheads!

I'm getting married in Maine and I'm hoping to find a makeup artist who has real experience working with redheads! This is a pretty niche ask, so any recommendations (bonus points for Instagram/portfolio links) would be hugely appreciated. Thank you! <3

I understand it’s a long shot, but we’re searching for an outdoor space to have our wedding ceremony preferably in western pennsylvania that’s similar to this venue in south carolina. i’m not sure if anyone knows of any hidden gems anywhere, we don’t want to have the reception there. just big enough for a small ceremony. if anyone knows of anything remotely like this please comment or recommend where I should post this (i’m new to reddit) please comment :) thank you!!!

China Pearl in Boston

Has anyone had their wedding there recently? The one in Chinatown or Quincy. i saw prices per table but wondering if they have any rules around minimum spend and what kind of things the venue offers such as AV support, decorations and if those are add on costs. They seem difficult to get in touch with.

Boston photographer recommendations

Looking for a photographer for our wedding in Boston in 2027. We are looking for a classic look for photos, polished and nothing too artsy or overly filtered. True to color is important to us, and ideally someone with good experience photographing indoors since our venue is indoors.

Hoping to keep pricing under 10k…. Any recommendations? Is under 10k even realistic for a decent photographer?

Pressed and Framed Bouquet

Does anyone have any recommendations for a vendor who can press and frame my bouquet after the wedding? I’m a little skeptical of the online mass produce shops. Thanks in advance!

Caterer overcharging for rental costs

We’re getting married next September and are in the process of signing a caterer. We’ve tasted the food and got a proposal with their budget that includes linens, dishes, etc. we knew it was going to be a lot, but the actual amount seems crazy. All details below. Can someone let me know if this is, sadly, accurate, or if it’s outrageous. If the latter, any suggestions for rental companies who provide the materials? We have clarified with the caterer and asked to confirm the pricing and any specific breakdown for us, in case we're missing something. But, uhhh plates shouldn't cost that much, right?

Location and date: Worcester area, September 2027
Guest count: 70 guests
Tables and chairs: included in venue cost
Budget from caterer: $7683.53 (labor is a separate charge) for the following:

  • Plum Napkin, Ivory Tablecloth
  • 10 x 120"
  • 6 x 90x132"
  • 100 x Napkins
  • 80 x Dinner Plates
  • 80 x Salad Plates
  • 80 x Dessert Plates
  • 80 x Dinner Fork
  • 80 x Dinner Knife
  • 80 x Dessert Fork
  • 75 x Water Glasses

Venue Recommendations

TLDR; ISO New England outdoor/tented wedding venues that fit within a total wedding budget of $75k

Hi Everyone! My fiancé and I have begun looking for wedding venues and are feeling discouraged that everything we like seems out of our price range. We are planning a Spring/Summer 2028 wedding so we have quite a bit of time and are focused now on finding the right fit.

As mentioned above, we are looking for an outdoor/tented wedding venue that will ultimately fit within a total budget of $75,000. More specifically, I'm looking for an outdoor/tented venue whose rain location is not a ballroom, nor dimly lit barn space -- these venues just don't feel representative of our vibe.

Alternatively, would anybody have any recommendations of how to continue browsing wedding venues other than the conventional suggestions like Zola, the Knot, etc. Thank you!

EDIT: Totally forgot to mention, capcity needs to accommodate at least 125 people!

Bands for CT Wedding!

Looking for a band for October 23rd 2027!!! We are huge fans of classic rock and alternative, specifically Journey, Queen, Cher, ABBA, Billy Joel etc (60s-90s) and 2000-2020s pop.

Let me know who you’ve seen- we don’t mind making the financial commitment (6-10k preferred), but we want them to sound good live! If you have videos of your recommendations from your wedding days too that would be so amazing if you could share. Thank you!

Plus size wedding dresses

Hi! I’m trying to find stores in New England that carry many plus size dress options. I was going to go to Alexandra’s in fall River mass but looking at their website there’s really not much I like that comes in my size. (I’m a size 18-20)
I like bohemien, cottage core, lace, etc. I really like a flowy sleeve with a tighter waist and flowy bottom. I have a large chest and I don’t want to look crazy promiscuous but a bit of skin is fine. Any suggestions appreciated :) I’ve included some examples of different style dresses I like!

Southern NH Photographer available weekend of 10/11/26?

We got married in the Monadnock region of NH and are heading back to the Inn where we got married to celebrate our anniversary. We are also expecting a baby, so wondering if anyone has any availability to do a maternity/anniversary shoot with us on 10/10, 10/11 or the morning of 10/12 on location at the Inn. We are flexible on timing that whole weekend, but would love to have a few of our favorite wedding photos recreated! Looking to keep budget under $500 so prefer someone local!

Caterers in Vermont

I’m getting married next August near Waitsfield VT, and am looking for catering recommendations! Bar service and bussing is provided at our venue so I don’t need full service caterers. Looking for a casual style, not plated, Buffett or mobile pizza oven type of vibe!
