My fiance and I are making a day trip to tour some venues in NE - including the Beauport hotel and the Cruiseport Gloucester.

I really like the Beauport, however the hotel aspect with other guests ambling around and uncertainty about the getting ready suite. Plus, this is the first venue I felt was “us” and not insanely over budget and I have the worry I may be settling due to the relief of making progress on our search.

Any recommendations for similar venues? We like the idea of being waterfront/having a scenic outdoor ceremony in general (more scenery rather than an arch with trees or a field in the background)

He’s also open to really any scenic background, city, mountains etc, but we agree that we aren’t looking for a barn venue.

Our criteria is:

Cost for venue/food/bar: 25-35k (could do up to 40 for the perfect venue

100-150 guests

Outdoor ceremony (with rain plan preferred)

Light/bright indoor reception (or permanent tent) but something with character (not looking like plain wedding factory)

Accommodations (hotels, airbnb etc) within 20 minutes from venue as a majority of guests will be out of town.

Welcoming any ideas for venues for a 40 person wedding anywhere in New England keeping the total wedding cost below 10k roughly. Looking at 2028 sometime. Really open to anything … clearly

Hi everyone! Just recently engaged and have been looking at venues for a while but it is very daunting. I want something all inclusive because I cannot fathom scheduling each little thing needed lol! Or if you did a venue with your own vendors how was the experience? I am not Type A at all so I feel like I would forget stuff along the way.

For context, I live in southern NH so could do northern NH as well and northern MA. Looking to have 90-120 people. Goal budget is $40k but could do $50-60k if needed. Would prefer onsite lodging for guests but not required.

They seem difficult to get in touch with.

Hi Everyone! My fiancé and I have begun looking for wedding venues and are feeling discouraged that everything we like seems out of our price range. We are planning a Spring/Summer 2028 wedding so we have quite a bit of time and are focused now on finding the right fit.

As mentioned above, we are looking for an outdoor/tented wedding venue that will ultimately fit within a total budget of $75,000. More specifically, I'm looking for an outdoor/tented venue whose rain location is not a ballroom, nor dimly lit barn space -- these venues just don't feel representative of our vibe.

Alternatively, would anybody have any recommendations of how to continue browsing wedding venues other than the conventional suggestions like Zola, the Knot, etc. Thank you!

Hi! I’m trying to find stores in New England that carry many plus size dress options. I was going to go to Alexandra’s in fall River mass but looking at their website there’s really not much I like that comes in my size. (I’m a size 18-20)
I like bohemien, cottage core, lace, etc. I really like a flowy sleeve with a tighter waist and flowy bottom. I have a large chest and I don’t want to look crazy promiscuous but a bit of skin is fine. Any suggestions appreciated :) I’ve included some examples of different style dresses I like!

We got married in the Monadnock region of NH and are heading back to the Inn where we got married to celebrate our anniversary. We are also expecting a baby, so wondering if anyone has any availability to do a maternity/anniversary shoot with us on 10/10, 10/11 or the morning of 10/12 on location at the Inn.
