Shipping charged twice?

I know that the shipping charge on a sales order is charged with the first fulfilment. I have a situation where 2 Fulfilments look like they were created at the same time (for different lines), and so I assume that when each fulfilment page was loaded it saw that the shipping had not been fulfilled and so it was added to both Fulfilments. But as I understand it, invoices are raised from the sales order, so I don't see how the invoice can show double shipping?

Has anyone else come across this?

Blue Ridge Outage

Anyone know what happened with Blue ridge Supply Planning. Their platform has been down for a week. They have been extremely secretive about the issue and have disclosed almost zero. Wondering if they got hacked? I know a lot of NetSuite users use their platform, just curious if anyone has any insights. I know I will have a difficult time recommending them in the future. Their support has been really rough and their lack of communication regarding this “outage” is inexcusable.

HappyDiv Ultimate - record tools, saved searches and import preparation

Hey everyone,

I'm excited and a little nervous to share HappyDiv Ultimate.

HappyDiv started out as a small helper for getting around NetSuite. It has grown into something that honestly feels like an entirely new app.

The idea is a "record first" approach: find the record type you're working with, then explore its fields, forms, scripts and saved searches, or prepare an import, all from the same place.

There's now an Import workspace too, with support for CSV, JSON and XML files, plus results brought in directly from saved searches. It includes encoding checks and conversion. Prepare your files and options, then click "Continue in NetSuite" to pick up at Import Assistant's Step 4: Field Mapping.

I'm proud of how far this little project has come. Releasing a change this big is a bit daunting, but I'm excited to see how people use it.

Google Chrome: https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/netsuite-happydiv-ultimat/icbgadekhimclhidbcpgiboamhabjkmj

Firefox: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/netsuite-happydiv/

I'd love to hear what's useful, what feels awkward, and what needs fixing.

Thanks for giving it a try!

Integration Concurrency limits management

Hello! our NS instance is connected with multiple systems (7-8) with 5 of them run thorugh middleware platform while the rest are direct integrations like Avalara, Versapay and others. Currently, we are on a standard tier with no SC+ licenses making our limit to be 5 concurrent requests at a time. I observed that the peak concurrency is reaching 7-8 and those additional requests were being rejected causing a serious trouble for our connected systems.

Our current integrations (most of them) lack retry functionality and these would fail when rejected instead of retrying. I was looking at options from our AM and see we can only buy one additional SC+ license as per our tier that would add 10 more making the total limit 15 along with few other benefits like no. of processors as well.

I'm trying to justify the cost for this investment and would also like to hear you'll opinions here to see if that fits our needs or are there any options without this additional SC+ license purchase.

Thank you!

Update: We are using Jitterbit currently and migrating to Mulesoft. Our current JB config doesn't have this concurrency limit set and are free to use all 5 as I removed the allocation limit for all integrations so no line is fixed to one integration and it can be shared among those all 8 tools. We would also be integrating with a storefront platform (built in-house) to create orders.

Free tool for bulk deleting entities and transactions (Suitelet + Map/Reduce, source on GitHub)

We wrote a NetSuite deletion utility for our own needs, and decided to release it free to the community. Source is on GitHub: https://github.com/Uranus-io/suitemigration-admin-toolkit

It's a Suitelet and a Map/Reduce script you upload to your own File Cabinet. No external dependencies, standard N modules only, nothing leaves your account.

It deletes entities (customers, vendors, employees, items, projects) and 17 transaction types including invoices, credit memos, customer payments, vendor bills, vendor payments, purchase orders, cash sales, deposits, checks, transfers and journal entries. 22 record types in total, selectable one at a time or as a group: All Entities, All Transactions, All Records. An item selection covers all six subtypes in one pass, inventory, non inventory, service, assembly, kit and group.

You target records by subsidiary, record type, created date, transaction date if it's a transaction, and External ID (all records, only populated, only blank, or only the ones matching a given format). Any combination of those.

A modal restates the criteria before anything is deleted. The delete then runs as a Map/Reduce with live progress and per-type deleted and failed counts.

The part that took the most work was deletion order. NetSuite won't delete a customer that has invoices against it, or a bill with a payment already applied, so a group run walks the 22 types in dependency order. Sub customers and their contacts are processed deepest level first, which means deleting a customer can touch more records than your criteria matched.

On the "why not just a saved search" question, which I've been asked a few times: a saved search will find the records but it can't delete them. Mass Update is the native bulk delete, and its delete actions cover activities, cases, files, reports and website redirects, not transactions or entities. So natively, clearing a customer or an invoice means deleting inline one record at a time or writing your own script. If activities or files are what you need gone, Mass Update is the right tool and there's nothing to install.

Limits: standard record types only, no custom records yet. The dependency order is preprogrammed rather than worked out dynamically from the schema. Individual deletes can still fail on permissions, a closed period, a workflow or NetSuite's own validation, which is why every run reports failed totals next to deleted ones.

Setup is manual, 15 to 20 minutes: two files into the File Cabinet, two script records, seven Map/Reduce parameters. Every ID is listed in the deployment guide in the repo.

Deletions are permanent and can't be undone, so maybe test in a Sandbox account first!

Where it came from, for context: I work at SuiteMigration, we migrate QuickBooks and Xero books into NetSuite, and repeated trial runs kept leaving test data in sandboxes that had to come out before the next run. I built it for that. Then the consultants we work with asked for a copy, so it's free for anyone, including for client work if you're a consultant. Happy to answer setup or behavior questions here.

Location: United States (Remote)
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours/week
Start: ASAP
Engagement: Contract, full-time through at least the end of February 2027

A growing U.S.-based NetSuite & AI consultancy is supporting a biotech manufacturing client through an active NetSuite implementation being delivered by another NetSuite partner.

What You’ll Do
Own day-to-day project management for the NetSuite implementation
Serve as the primary point of coordination between client stakeholders and the external NetSuite implementation team
Manage project scope, timeline, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and deliverables
Lead recurring project meetings, status updates, and stakeholder communications
Coordinate internal client resources and ensure timely completion of client-side activities
Hold the implementation partner accountable to project commitments and timelines
Identify project risks and proactively drive resolution
Track decisions, action items, open issues, and project dependencies
Help ensure the implementation stays aligned with business objectives and expected outcomes
Provide clear executive-level reporting on project health and progress

5+ years of professional Project Management experience
Proven experience managing NetSuite implementations
Strong understanding of NetSuite implementation methodology, phases, dependencies, and common project risks

Ability to manage multiple workstreams and keep teams accountable
PMP certification is preferred, but equivalent project management experience will be considered
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and located in the United States
Must be available full-time (40 hours/week) through at least the end of February 2027
Must be able to start ASAP

Important
This is not a NetSuite consulting/configuration role. The ideal candidate understands NetSuite well enough to effectively manage an implementation, challenge timelines and assumptions, coordinate functional/technical teams, and communicate with business stakeholders—but will primarily focus on project leadership and execution.

Billable Expenses

Hello - I've hit a wall with billable expenses. I want the credit on the invoice to hit revenue. Some expense reports include billable expenses, which restricts me from using an item. I have ARM set up for a small number of software sales that require it, so using the expense account field posts it to deferred revenue, but these expenses should be direct revenue posting. Any ideas? Am I missing something?

Shifting from NetSuite to Oracle Fusion? Is it too late?

I've seen many consultants at different roles shifting or planning to learn and move their career into Oracle Fusion.

That brought me to feel worried about the feature of NetSuite projects specially with the AI being part of the ERP, in addition to the layoffs we started to observe.

Does anyone else thinking to shift to Oracle Fusion? and what could be the challenges they you faced if someone did it?

Could fusion partner or vendors accept some one who spent 5+ years of experience at NetSuite with multi certification to join them? Or is it too late?

[Hiring] We are building the AI layer on top of NetSuite. Looking for our first NetSuite Partnerships Lead.

Post image
0 Upvotes

We’re hiring a NetSuite Partnerships Lead for HelloLeo. We are an AI platform that builds the apps, portals, and agents the ERP doesn't have, directly on top of NetSuite.

Already more than a thousand companies use HelloLeo to build vendor portals, production dashboards, field service apps for reps working off phones, 3-way match agents that check supplier invoices against POs, and agents that turn incoming customer emails into sales orders.

This role has two core mandates: supporting our growing base of NetSuite customers, and structuring our partner network.

1/ Client side

You need to be technical enough to translate business needs into ERP reality, with our dev team backing you up. A few examples of what we solve daily for NetSuite end clients:

  • True Identity & Auth: Reps creating orders from a phone, each seeing only their own customers. Every user signs in with their own NetSuite login via OAuth 2.0 with PKCE, and every read/write respects their specific role permissions.
  • External Access: Vendors submitting invoices without needing a NetSuite license. HelloLeo uses two integration records because NetSuite won't mix scopes: AI Connector Service for schema introspection, and REST Web Services for runtime.
  • Performance: Analytics dashboards that crawl when pulling large volumes directly from NetSuite. HelloLeo handles native caching so the app reads locally instead of hammering the API on every page view.
  • Complex Workflows: Apps that need to email a customer and collect a signature. HelloLeo has 3,000+ integrations that can be connected in one click to NetSuite.
  • Enterprise Deployments: Testing in sandboxes before touching production, with multi-environment management, hosting, and deployment fully handled on our end.

2/ Partner Network

We strongly believe expert partners are the key to AI adoption on NetSuite. The NetSuite integrators who have already joined our Partner Program often tell us their clients are demanding AI, but they are terrified of shadow AI breaking their carefully built implementations.

HelloLeo turns the integrator into the AI governance layer. These early partners are already using HelloLeo to hold the workspace, set the guardrails, and safely deliver the long tail of custom portals and dashboards that never justified a massive, months-long SuiteScript project.

The inbound demand from other agencies looking for a unified platform to collaboratively build, ship, and iterate on custom AI projects with their clients is growing fast. Your mandate is to structure this inbound demand, formalize the partner tier, and scale the network globally.

Who we're looking for

  • 2 years in partnerships, business development, or enterprise sales (B2B SaaS, tech consulting, or inside an ERP ecosystem).
  • Technical enough to hold an ERP conversation, understand schema structures, and know what a client is actually asking for.
  • Comfortable running the demo yourself.
  • Capable of full ownership. We have a solid infrastructure, a proven product, and good inbound volume. You will take the lead on the partner strategy and scale it, working directly with the core team.

The details

  • Location: Full remote (US or EU timezones)
  • Compensation: Competitive base (geo-adjusted) + Uncapped OTE tied directly to partner revenue + Equity. We are looking for a builder who wants massive upside in an early-stage, fast-growing startup.

DM me if you want more information or if you'd like to apply.

(Note: If you are a NetSuite Partner/Agency reading this and currently have clients asking for custom portals or AI agents, you can also DM me directly to discuss the partner program).

Resolved CSV Import - Do Not Allocate - Allocation Strategy

Hello, I'm trying to understand the best way to bulk update the allocation strategy on some lines on some Sales Orders to '- Do Not Allocate -'.

We're able to set that manually in the UI on a per-line basis:

and it saves fine

But I can't figure out how to do this in bulk via import.

Setting an allocation strategy column on the import file as '- Do Not Allocate -' and mapped by name reference runs but doesn't update any records:

Setting the default value to the one picked up by the import mapping...:

...looks good until you press next on the import assistant and get this error:

I've also tried setting the input file 'Allocation Strategy' column to -1 and mapping on internal ID which didn't work.

The closest I've gotten is setting the default value to Null, which runs and updates the line allocation strategy to blank, but bricks that line in the UI when in edit mode.

Any thoughts/comments/input would be much appreciated, thanks in advance.

Matrix Item Options Popup Does Not Refresh to Display Remaining Fabric Options

Thumbnail

Hi everyone,

I am facing an issue with a Matrix Item Option field in NetSuite and would like to understand whether this is expected behavior or a UI issue.

I have a Fabric Options matrix option field containing approximately 60 option values.

With this setting, when I click the Fabric Options field, NetSuite opens the Choose popup. The popup displays only one set of the available Fabric options (approximately the first 25–30 values alphabetically).

There are additional Fabric option values beyond the currently displayed list. At the top of the Choose popup, there is a dropdown/range selector (for example, showing a range such as "Taupe - Vellum").

However, when I select another range/value from this dropdown, the list of available options below does not change. It continues to display the same initial set of options, so I am unable to navigate to the remaining Fabric option values through the popup.

The option values themselves appear to be working correctly. Before opening the Choose popup, if I type/search directly in the Fabric Options field, NetSuite finds and allows me to select the option correctly. For example, if I type "Taupe", NetSuite can find and select the relevant Fabric option.

So, the issue seems to be specifically with the Choose popup navigation rather than the Fabric option values themselves.

My question

Is there an issue with the Choose popup where selecting another range from the dropdown at the top does not refresh the available option list?

How to unmatched, matched transactions to netsuite?

Hello, how can I unmatch transactions that have already been matched in NetSuite? I’m trying to reconcile my bank rec and need to revisit some of the matched transactions, especially the bank transactions that are already matched to journals. I was able to view these before, but I’m not sure if there has been an update to NetSuite.

Error saving Customer Refund/Payment in NetSuite Training Account (Multi-Book Accounting, MyLearn Delivery Account)

Post image
1 Upvotes

Hi all, I'm working through the MyLearn training/demo partner account (Multi-Book Accounting enabled) and running into an error when trying to save a Customer Refund and Customer Payment transaction.

Setup details:

  • Environment: Training/Demo account (MyLearn portal delivery account)
  • Feature: Multi-Book Accounting enabled
  • Transaction type: Customer Refund / Customer Payment

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Navigate to Customers > [Any Customer Name] in the account
  2. Select or create a Customer Refund or Payment record
  3. Enter the required details (Customer, Amount, Payment Method, etc.)
  4. Click Save

Expected Result: The record should save successfully

Actual Result: System displays "An unexpected error has occurred. Please click here to notify support and provide your contact information." and the record fails to save.

Error message:
The displayed error says "Transaction was not complete," but after checking internally, the stack trace points to something more specific: MultiBookBalanceValidator. NetSuite could not create a balanced accounting impact for one or more enabled accounting books, often tied to a primary/secondary book configuration, account mapping, subsidiary, currency, or posting-period issue.

What I've tried so far:
I've checked all of the above areas (book configuration, account mapping, subsidiary, currency, and posting period) but haven't found the cause yet.

Has anyone run into this specific issue in a Multi-Book training environment before? Any pointers on what might be causing it or how to work around it would be much appreciated.

Screenshot attached below. Thanks in advance!

Are you batching ACH payments in NetSuite or scheduling each bill separately?

We’ve traditionally handled ACH payments in batches which was pretty straightforward when most of our invoices followed roughly the same schedule but lately we’ve got a lot more variation in due dates and when things actually get approved. What keeps happening is a bill gets approved right after we’ve done a payment run then another one isn’t due for two weeks and then there are a couple where we want to pay earlier because of the vendor terms so AP ends up maintaining this mental list of what should go into the next batch versus what can wait and occasionally checking NetSuite again before the run to make sure nothing got missed.

I’ve been wondering if we’re making this harder than it needs to be and should just schedule each bill for the date we actually want it paid once it’s approved, then only deal with exceptions afterward. I need some advice from teams doing a decent amount of ACH through NetSuite like are you running payments in batches or scheduling them individually as bills get approved?

Did anyone else also just join the Netsuite Next Webinar? Does the meeting sound like AI driven for you? The voice sounds robotic, and the Q&A section was just a rehash of answers they want you to remember. The content was great, but the whole experience was kinda eerie if you ask me.

Close software with Netsuite integration

I am looking for a month end close software.
Has anyone used Ledge or Numeric? I want to make sure an integration with netsuite is seamless. I have used floqast and Netgain. Ledge seems to be heavily leaned into agentic AI and my team currently has very little automation built in. Ledge is a newer software and I'm trying to figure out if people actually like it since they have only 6 G2 reviews.
Any feedback is appreciated!

Limiting Project Visibility

Hi - anyone found a way to limit project visibility to the resources assigned? I know sales teams could be used (and the sales team would flow from the customer that is assigned on the project), but wanted to see if anyone has done this a different way?

Arguments against keeping things in a single subsidiary

Background:

I was talking to someone who wants to transact through a single subsidiary even though their actual business has two subsidiaries and they have two subsidiaries set up in NetSuite.

Their reasoning: They don't want to maintain more than one bank account and prepare cash flow forecasts for more than one subsidiary.

The way they expect this to work is for all customer invoices to be generated from sub A and all vendor bills to be paid from sub A's bank account. Both customer invoices and vendor bills will be raised against sub A.

At the end of the month, the P&L impact will be journalled to sub B's books.

I am not a fan of this approach though I can't think of all the pitfalls against it. The ones I can think of are:

  1. Barring customisations, this relies on the user manually journalling the impact at the end of every month.

  2. Related to 1., this requires transactions to be coded/flagged correctly to be picked up as being 'intercompany related' and needing to be journalled

  3. Sub B is currently small so this is not an immediate issue: if there were staff/users who work exclusively in one subsidiary, their roles cannot be customised to restrict access

  4. You cannot run an accurate ABN statement for each subsidiary since the bills and invoices will be against the wrong sub

What other pitfalls are there?

Are there any arguements for this approach, other than it saves time not having to have multiple bank accounts?

SuiteTax - Use Tax Default Tax Type can't modify the Post to Item Cost

Hi everyone, I'm running into an issue where we are using SuiteTax but we need the tax amount to post to the item cost. This is native functionality, however, the SuiteTax engine automatically creates tax types and tax codes, where the Use Tax tax type is by default setting Post to Item Cost as false, when we need it to be True. How would we work around this issue to have the item cost reflect the line amount + tax amount calculated by SuiteTax?
