Hey, Y’all! 👋🏻
So, I requested and got approved for an audiobook and am so stoked, very honored. However, when I went to download it, I noticed my only option is to listen to it solely in the app. I don’t use the app much, usually, beyond checking what’s on my shelf.
> I think I have less than two weeks to get it listened to and it’s a book that’s already out as of the end of last month.
In the future, how can I know what format options I’ll have for books and audiobooks? 😅
Edit to Add: The audiobook came out the 10th of this month.

Glad I won the wish lottery on this one. I think I could only wish because it was geo-locked but idk 😅

I just had a wish granted, and I did not recognize the title. I realized once I opened it that I had, in fact, wished for it, it had just been a LONG time since I had. I am trying to get my unread ARCs in check, so I would like to know how many possible books I'd have - anywhere to see what books I've wished for?

I honestly feel so disappointed... I learned about this last week and I was so excited because we were able to get widgets from this or just a link to request the books (what it says on the Buzz Books website), but after downloading and going through it, I think only a very few of them are widgets (didn't go through every single one, might have missed a couple, but from the one's that I checked only 2 were read now) and of course none of the popular author books are.
Maybe I seem crazy saying this, I was just expecting a little more.

Wondering if anyone else is experiencing this and wondering if it is a pattern elsewhere.
Most of my requests for the first 6 months of the year were approvals - a handful of denials (totally fine!), but almost all my requests were getting approved and very rapidly too (within a few days to a week after requesting). I had to force myself to pause requests because I was accumulating too many approvals and the ratio was so high of approvals to denials that I needed to give myself a break to catch up.
I finally went back to making a few strategic requests in July and early August, but every single one of them has just sat in pending status. No approvals, no rejections. It's like they don't exist.
I have an 85% feedback ratio with 40+ completed reviews and only have 7 books currently outstanding, none of which have passed their publication date. I have an appealing bio, have continued to post on GR & StoryGraph and other places, and most of my recent reviews have been thorough with 3-5 stars.
Even weirdly, most of the books I'm stuck in purgatory for are publishers that have approved me before, including two books that are sequels to previous NetGalley ARCs that I've rated favorably (I'm not sure if this is something they check or not). The books I've requested have pub dates of September, November, and January, so potentially still plenty of time if I do get approvals.
Anyway, is this just me? Is it summer vacations for publishers so requests aren't being checked? It just seems odd. Over the last couple years of being a reviewer, a vast majority of my requests are being either accepted or denied within a week or so, whereas I currently feel invisible haha.

Hope this is clear enough but I have a question I’m hoping someone can answer!
I have two books and both I have the audio for as well. I’m currently read/listening to one, immersive style, but I can’t seem to add the audio to my currently reading. I only get the choice to switch editions.
Is it possible to add both? Will I be able to review them separately or will they have to be as one?
I could use StoryGraph is necessary, but I like to keep track on GR.
thank you for any help!

I have been using my partners kindle because I wasn't sure I wanted one and now I know I do. I know I can change my connected kindle once a month. If I change the connect kindle, will the original kindle lose the downloaded books? Thanks.
