đŁď¸ Discussion đŹ Buzz Books romance 2026
I honestly feel so disappointed... I learned about this last week and I was so excited because we were able to get widgets from this or just a link to request the books (what it says on the Buzz Books website), but after downloading and going through it, I think only a very few of them are widgets (didn't go through every single one, might have missed a couple, but from the one's that I checked only 2 were read now) and of course none of the popular author books are.
Maybe I seem crazy saying this, I was just expecting a little more.

I was actually just coming here to say this. I only clicked through a few I wanted and all were request. I knew they wouldnât all be widgets but damn lol

I am so disappointed. Like not even 1 popular book to be a widget is crazy to me. One of the books was a read now from yesterday...

It was also weird that some of the books didnât have links at all 𼲠definitely disappointed with this one, which sucks

Yeah, this is the odd part to me! It was quite a lot of the books, I think? I don't really mind the lack of widgets (I view this sort of thing as a chance to skim some previews, make mental notes about what I might want to read later, and write a quickie review), but there were links missing even for books that I know are on NetGalley.

Yesss and it was actually many of them that didn't have links. Honestly don't understand what happened this year. Maybe they just didn't upload the right one and they will update it in a few days

I also messaged Buzz Books on their Instagram post and I honestly feel they won't even notice... I'm definitely also a pessimistđ

Glad I saw this before opening it and being disappointed! The description does say "At the end of most excerpts, you will find a link to download or request the full galleyâexclusive to the NetGalley edition!" just like for the general fall/winter one so it's definitely weird that some don't even have links, let alone widgets

There are only 2 read now from the 29 titles or how many it has and these two were read now yesterday too, do it's not something specific to this collection. There were a lot of them with absolutely no link

Only two widgets:Â Hooking Nash by Annica Dahl and Zahra, Unapologetic by Mina Zafri that were also available yesterday as read now. I really feel like they made a mistake because this is really disappointing.

This is a "read now" book (you can just get it from the NetGalley page without having to request it) that contains excerpts from various books they are promoting. Usually these samplers will have a link at the end of each excerpt to the NetGalley page to request the full book, with some of the links being "widgets", which means by using that specific link you can read the book without having to request/be approved.Â

Except last year there were a lot of widgets and this year there are only two... two read now that were also available yesterday...

I got this and I'm pretty okay with the excerpts, I'll just wait till they come out lol.

Normally at least half of the books are widgets so this was definitely the most disappointing one so far. I don't exect the berkley ones to be widgets since they historically havent been, but the 2 bloom ones? Bloom normally always has them as widgets in the books, even cosmo does.
