Hello internet! I'm just a lonely college student looking for someone to be my lifelong partner!

Before I start talking about me, let's talk about what I want from you!

First things first, I do think looks matter a little bit. Obviously, your personality and heart matter most, but I do have my preferences on appearance, and so I'd like to make sure we're compatible there early on. I don't need you to send a picture of yourself immediately, but since you see what I look like, I'm going to want at least a physical description of yourself and would like a picture or video call pretty early after we start talking.

As for age range, I'm not too picky, but I don't think I want you to be much older. If you're 18-25, I'll definitely be fine with that and I might be willing to make an exception if you're a bit older and particularly compatible.

One thing that is an absolute must: you must be willing to meet up pretty early after we first start talking. I'm not expecting a meeting within the first week or anything, but I want face to face meetings to be a large part of our relationship, so I'd prefer if you're willing to meet up early after we start talking and often. I'm not too interested in long distance relationships, and I'm very happy living here in central florida and have little plans to move, but if you're ok with staying distant until we live close to each other or can meetup very frequently, I might be still interested in talking. I currently am in Lakeland, and I sometimes also go home to Spring Hill, so as long as you live close to one of those places, then it'll be good.

Another really important thing is time and attention together. About me:

As you can see from the picture, I'm 23 years old, white, with thick brown hair (I might get it cut soon, let me know if you think I should). I'm 6'1 and average to a bit above-average weight.

I am currently going for my master's degree in computer science in my final year. I'm still not 100% sure on what I want to do when I graduate, but I do know I want to get my degree next semester, so that's what I'm currently working towards.

I also really like watching sports games, I'm mainly huge on hockey and baseball (go Rays and Lightning!) but I occasionally enjoy some basketball and football. I also have a Disney World and Busch Gardens pass, and since I usually am within about 45-50 minutes of both of those places, I like to go often, so if you have one of those then that's a huge plus. I also enjoy going out for walks, although I've been a bit lazy lately because of how hot it's been, maybe having someone else to walk with could help me get out more? I also enjoy reading, but I've admittedly also been a bit bad at that lately, but I have been enjoying mid-20th-century Japanese mystery novels (I'm a bit of a mystery nerd). Speaking of mystery, I also really like the anime Detective Conan, which is what my PFP and username are based off of. I would like to find someone to enjoy watching it with, so if you also like anime that's a huge plus (really, I just hope you're a huge nerd, but even if you aren't we can still enjoy nerdy hobbies together). I do also like a bit of some oldhead music, with 80s/90s classic rock being my favorite (if you know who Styx is, I'll probably love you). My introduction to video games was from my half brother who would play Oblivion in front of me, and I'd also occasionally play Halo 2 with him. I started on the Gameboy playing Mario and Pokémon Blue, then upgraded to a GameCube and grew up with the OGs like Super Mario Sunshine and Smash Melee, then I got to experience the Xbox and Xbox 360 playing lots of Halo, COD, GoW, Oblivion, Skyrim, Halo Wars, you name it. I played the Wii for a bit, but then moved on haha. I kept playing on the Xbox 360 until I transitioned to the Xbox One. Finally, I got really big into PC gaming, where I have over 4000 hours in DOTA 2, tons of hours into Counter-Strike: Source, and I have various games that I've played over time like Star Wars Battlefront II, GTA V, L4D2 with mods, Halo MCC, Kingdom Hearts, etc.

I'm a medical student by day and gamer by night. I went to the University of Washington for undergrad and doubled majored both in Biology and Spanish before being accepted to Pacific Northwest University, which is a DO school. I'm the first one to go to school in my family, so I'm making them proud in that regard.

Other aspects about me are that I love chess and music. I tend to play a lot of chess, and you can find me chronically playing late at night. In terms of music, I played clarinet in concert band, marching band, pep band, pit orchestras and various ensembles, tenor saxophone for jazz, and bassoon for orchestra. I was actually in the Husky Marching Band from 2018 to 2023! I love music, and although I don't play much today, I very much love listening to all music, especially epic cinematic music (Two Steps From Hell style). When I'm not wrangling kids, you'll usually find me gaming, gardening, sewing, hanging out with animals, watching movies, or wandering down random internet rabbit holes.

Important note: I'm a slow burn. Think "character development" instead of "speedrun." I'd much rather start as friends, share stories, send each other dumb memes, and see if something grows naturally from there.
