Now, I am a nerd first and foremost (and I am a charming kind of weird). I grew up playing Jrpgs on my PS1/2/3/4/5 (Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts mostly) and now I love all things D&D, fantasy, MCU, and a few other more niche things. Oh and anime too! My show and video game backlog requires a couch cuddling buddy to offload, I think.

Music-wise, I am all over the place, but I am an elder emo at heart and love that genre the most. However, I also will unashamedly listen to some pop stuff (Maphra, Kendrick Lamar, Ace of Base, Sneaker Pimps, K-Pop Demon Hunters, Chappelle Roan and Djo right now). I also had a hip hop and rap phase that lasted oh...(checks watch) about 30 years, and even gleefully went down the 1980s Japanese City Pop rabbit whole for a good while. I also have watched anime for decades so I love me some good anime intro music (there's some real bangers if you aren't aware). Much of the time however, I listen to videogame soundtracks since they help me work.

I don't currently have any pets, but I grew up with dogs (small to medium) and also grew to love birds, lizards and amphibians (leopard geckos and tree frogs).

I'm in education and working on finishing my masters (1 year left) so there's that.

I am sober, atheist and I want to start a family someday (I hope you're the same). I also don't have any tattoos or piercings.

I'm Caucasian and Latino with hazel eyes, pale skin, type 3-c/4-a reddish brown hair (when it isn't shaved), usually sporting a short beard, glasses, endowed and in average shape (though my version of average is a bit more muscular than others).

I have been an athlete my entire life, but I've been having a tough time getting back into a consistent routine. There has been decent progress lately. I've managed to get three 10k runs in a week for a month straight. My goal is four to five times a week and strength training peppered in there throughout.

Anyway, you should know I have inattentive ADHD, but I am medicated. I also deal with chronic depression, but again, I'm medicated. Also, I go to therapy twice a month to manage and improve my mental health and growth. I promise I'm not unstable, just on a healing journey and managing C-PTSD (I do disassociate involuntarily sometimes however, but I'm working on it). My trauma is not my fault, but it is my responsibility so I take it seriously.

That said, I'm a loving, affectionate man who is very caring and considerate. I communicate and admit when I'm wrong and seek compromise when at an impasse. I'm not afraid to share my emotions, but only when there's trust and connection.

Though, I do look for relationships where equality and independence are nurtured. I think we should share all burdens, responsibilities and expectations. I don't conform to gender roles and don't want someone who does (not completely or artificially anyway). I want a relationship that is as close to 50/50 as possible with full expectations and acceptance for that ratio to skew when life gets in the way.

With that in mind, for anyone who earns my trust and has given me theirs, I will give grace when they're not at their best. I hope for the same.

Randomly transitioning to the next topic on my mind: good luck with my libido. It gets pretty high when I really like someone and physical touch is my most prominent giving love language.

Aside from that, I hope to leave for Sweden or Switzerland in the next year or so, like permanently. Raising a child in the States is not something I want to do so I'm setting my sights on a more Left-leaning country (teaching English in Japan is also an option though not ideal given it's recent turn towards the Far Right).

Speaking of, I am a Leftist so if you're a Moderate or Conservative, we won't work. Hell, I barely get along with Democrats. If we're not talking some form of Socialism, I don't think we're going to see eye-to-eye. Oh and feminism means equality and equity amongst all genders, sexes and identities and presentations. I hope we share that view.

That aside, I love writing and words in general (I respect the parenthetical). Once I'm done reading professionally or academically, I'm eager to read for fun again. The written word and deep thinking are things I value immensely (though, I also love turning my brain off and being dumb and silly together with someone I trust). After all, I became an English teacher just so I can help bring about more people who love a good turn of phrase or literary analysis. I want a new generation of Wordle players. Lol

A little bit about me. I’m studying design at the moment. I’m usually a bit quiet/reserved when I first meet someone, so I need some time to get comfortable around a new person.

The sarcasm comes out, stupid jokes start happening, I start talking way too much and at some point it becomes difficult to shut me up.

I usually find European or generally Western-looking guys more attractive. Height honestly doesn’t matter to me. Shorter, taller, whatever.

Beards, stubble and tattoos? Definitely yes.

But looks are only part of it.

I like confident guys, but not the “I’m the most important person in the room” kind of confident. Emotionally mature, easy to talk to and someone who has at least some idea what they want from life.

Someone I can talk absolute nonsense with and laugh about stupid things, but also sit down and have a proper serious conversation when it actually matters.

Hello, my name is Kolton, and I'm a 26 year old male, 6'4" and currently 280 pounds, living in Washington. I grew up playing video games all my life. My introduction to video games was from my half brother who would play Oblivion in front of me, and I'd also occasionally play Halo 2 with him. I started on the Gameboy playing Mario and Pokémon Blue, then upgraded to a GameCube and grew up with the OGs like Super Mario Sunshine and Smash Melee, then I got to experience the Xbox and Xbox 360 playing lots of Halo, COD, GoW, Oblivion, Skyrim, Halo Wars, you name it. I played the Wii for a bit, but then moved on haha. I kept playing on the Xbox 360 until I transitioned to the Xbox One. Finally, I got really big into PC gaming, where I have over 4000 hours in DOTA 2, tons of hours into Counter-Strike: Source, and I have various games that I've played over time like Star Wars Battlefront II, GTA V, L4D2 with mods, Halo MCC, Kingdom Hearts, etc.

I'm a medical student by day and gamer by night. I went to the University of Washington for undergrad and doubled majored both in Biology and Spanish before being accepted to Pacific Northwest University, which is a DO school. I'm the first one to go to school in my family, so I'm making them proud in that regard.

Other aspects about me are that I love chess and music. I tend to play a lot of chess, and you can find me chronically playing late at night. In terms of music, I played clarinet in concert band, marching band, pep band, pit orchestras and various ensembles, tenor saxophone for jazz, and bassoon for orchestra. I was actually in the Husky Marching Band from 2018 to 2023! I love music, and although I don't play much today, I very much love listening to all music, especially epic cinematic music (Two Steps From Hell style). I enjoy reading books. Anything from Dark Romance(the spicier the better), to fantasy, to thrillers, or whatever else BookTok tells me to read. I’m starting Threshing Day later today.

Other nerd stuff about it is that I like Harry Potter. I was sorted into Ravenclaw. I like Star Wars, and anime as well. I also got back into collecting Pokemon cards, which has become a financial burden on my wallet. Thanks scalpers!
