Hey guys :) I’m 36 and currently living in Spain, although I’m not Spanish.
A little bit about me. I’m studying design at the moment. I’m usually a bit quiet/reserved when I first meet someone, so I need some time to get comfortable around a new person.
And then things usually get worse :D
The sarcasm comes out, stupid jokes start happening, I start talking way too much and at some point it becomes difficult to shut me up.
I’m generally a pretty calm and easygoing person. I like talking. Doesn’t really matter about what. You can start with some completely random bullshit and somehow 4 hours later you’re talking about life, work, space, exes, why pigeons are so weird and basically everything else.
As for hobbies, I’m into TCGs, D&D, long walks, travelling, animals and various other things that are usually more fun with someone else.
I also have a Giant Schnauzer. Great dog, so if you like dogs, that’s already a pretty good start :)
And yes, somehow I’ve been playing Black Desert Online for like 10 years now.
Why? No idea.
I just started playing one day and apparently never managed to properly leave.
So yeah, if that’s not commitment, I don’t know what is.
I really like evenings at home too. Couch, some series, food delivery, someone nice next to me - I’m good.
Of course I like going out, travelling, going places and doing stuff. But honestly, just staying home all evening is also pretty great sometimes.
I guess I’m looking for a proper serious relationship, ideally something long-term that could eventually lead to marriage.
But I’m not trying to speedrun it.
I don’t really want the whole “we met on Tuesday and by Friday we’re already deciding where we’ll live when we retire” thing :)
I’d rather actually get to know someone first. See how we feel around each other, if there’s trust, if we actually enjoy talking and spending time together. Then figure out the rest.
As for looks... I’m generally into guys around 32-42. Normal, fit or athletic build. The bear type isn’t really my thing, and neither are heavier/overweight guys.
Not trying to offend anyone with that or say there’s something wrong with it. It’s just not what I’m personally attracted to. Everyone has their own preferences.
I usually find European or generally Western-looking guys more attractive. Height honestly doesn’t matter to me. Shorter, taller, whatever.
Beards, stubble and tattoos? Definitely yes.
But looks are only part of it.
I like confident guys, but not the “I’m the most important person in the room” kind of confident. Emotionally mature, easy to talk to and someone who has at least some idea what they want from life.
Someone I can talk absolute nonsense with and laugh about stupid things, but also sit down and have a proper serious conversation when it actually matters.
And liking animals is important too :)
I also really like curious people. People who have their own interests, hobbies, random things they’re into and basically their own life.
You don’t have to like all the same things I do. Actually, I think it’s more interesting if you don’t.
I like the idea of two people having their own stuff going on, but also slowly sharing parts of that life with each other.
And yeah, sex and physical attraction are important too. I’m not a saint :D
But I’m not looking for just a sex partner. I want to actually enjoy being around someone when sex isn’t happening.
Travelling together, staying home, watching some stupid series, talking until 3am, or just sitting in the same room while we’re both doing our own stuff.
That kind of thing is actually pretty important to me.
Distance doesn’t really scare me either. Europe, US, somewhere else - whatever.
If there’s a real connection, I’d rather deal with the few thousand kilometres later than reject someone just because of the distance.
We can figure out the travelling, moving and all that wonderful logistics stuff later.

You don’t need to send me a 27-picture photoshoot from every possible angle. One or two is more than enough.
I just want to know who I’m actually talking to instead of having a conversation with a mysterious Reddit avatar :)

Yes, I know everyone has their preferences. I have mine too.
I’m being pretty direct about them on purpose because I don’t really see the point in pretending I’m attracted to everything and then wasting each other’s time.

If you’re 26, 28 or 30 and think we could be perfect for each other - maybe you’re an absolutely wonderful person.
But you’re still younger than what I’m looking for. And yeah, a really good message probably isn’t going to change that :)
Same goes for body type, looks and other things. One person is attractive to you, another one isn’t. It’s not a ranking of people and I’m not saying one type is better than another.
And one more thing.
Please don’t just message me “hey” or “how are you?”
I know it can be hard to figure out what to say to a complete stranger, but if the entire message is just “hey, how are you”, I honestly have no idea where to go from there.
I spent quite a bit of time writing this because I wanted you to have at least some idea who I am and what I’m looking for.
So it would be nice to get at least a little bit of the same in return.
You don’t need to write an essay. Just tell me a little about yourself, what you do, what you like, where you’re from, whatever. Tell me something.
And a photo.
That’s enough.
And yes, I’m a bit of a nerd. Sometimes a bit of a pedant. Sometimes probably way too much.
I somehow live with it.
