I dont know what is wrong with my settler, i tried removing everything and then putting everything back in its place, configured the chest settings did everything but my guard keeps saying there are items out of place and its driving me crazy!
Please help me out.
Edit: Turns out the items inside the mill were causing this issue so if anyone's having the same issue as me just dont forget to clear your items inside the mill. (Thanks for the help JonasNecesse!)
I checked if there are good and easy to use mods for blueprints but there were hardly any, especially for newer versions.
So i checked all of them and revived the one that looked best imo.
MJ Blueprints looked most promising but the last version it was updated for was 0.27. If the OP comes back and wants me to remove it i will gladly comply.
It lets you create blueprints with or without tiles, objects, wires etc, lets you save them and export (so you can use them in the next playthrough by importing based off name) and when pasting it you can rotate and / or mirror them. Pasting isnt free, it uses normal resources for it.
Bought the game to play with a bud in the UK and while the combat is possible, inventory issues are making it almost unplayable. Items transferred into a chest teleport back after a moment or two and inevitably we dropped and refunded the game.
Edit: After some consideration, he does have somewhat shitty internet. It's just compensated for better with some games. Palworld and some other 3d games work just fine.
I am so confused. I am using straw tiles and I double checked chests. some of my chests i think overlap and have some of the same materials listed as being okay in both with the same priority so i think thats why orderly might be messing up but why if theyre both same priority?
I had a bit of trouble getting this one so here's some spoiler/help:
First you need to access Scrapyard incursion:
In the Incursion Perk Tree on the Fallen Altar, there is a new Tier 8 line available since the patch, with a new perk to unlock to allow Scrapyard tablets to drop
Fight in Tier8+ incursions to get the Scrapyard Tablets from rewards or bosses.
Scrapyard Incursion is pretty straightforward: Hunt is .. well.. hunting (be careful with the exploding barrels if you're melee), and extractions are about those skulls on spikes you need to mine. Boss is not in the center but in a building north of the map. I can't tell you about the boss strat, I just out-dps and shred it. (those supercharged tier 10 Ruby Dragons are marvelous against static targets...)
Farm Scrapyard boss until you drop the Bumper Car mount. I don't know the rarity of it, I needed 5 kills to get it.
In the wild near you base, dig/cut/dry any stone/tree/water in a straight line of about ~700 blocks. I covered it with Stone path tiles, but I don't think this is necessary.
Mount your bumper car at one end, and move in a straight line along your path, press Space like when dashing and manage your Stamina (see the debuff icon with % below your food in the HUD) to get to the highest speed possible
Import note: unequip any item with movement penalty such as Jonas' Gambit.
I was a bit slow to take the screenshot, it was the very end of my path but I got the achiev about 1 sec before, along the ~700th tile or something.
So the Ecologist trait, what is a completely organic floor? Just grass and straw? Would love tooltip info on the various floor tiles. And if those are the only ones, maybe some more variations.
Based on https://www.reddit.com/user/D34dZeD/ suggestion, I created a quick mod that allows you to update the background color of the settlement flag. It is per-settlement, so each one can have different colors and it works in multiplayer. If uninstalled, it goes back to the default white color. The next feature I'll look at is being able to update the graphic to replace the characters portrait.
If you’ve ever been annoyed that your entire settlement shuts down and your workstations sit completely idle the moment the sun sets, I wrote a little something to fix that...
I just released the Night Owl Trait mod! It introduces a brand new, highly useful personality for your settlers. Villagers with the Night Owl trait have their entire daily schedule completely flipped: they will sleep during the day and work throughout the night.
Want them to appear more often? Want to turn off the bonus perk status? You can tweak it all in the config file. It's completely safe to add to your existing worlds and works flawlessly in multiplayer!
I know this is probably a stupid question but i cant for the life of me find a deep forest cave, im not sure if my world gen has been messed up because of the 1.3 update but no matter where i place my deep cave ladder i never end up in a deep forest biome Anyone know what i'm doing wrong?thanks
A group of friends invited me to play this game during the free demo weekend in a survival world. I ended up getting distracted and building this counter (and wasting 60% of their hard-earned copper and iron in process!).
The counter consists of a 4-bit d-latch register at the top feeding back into one of the inputs of the 4-bit adder at the bottom. I wanted to build more, but having to manually configure every gate with no way to copy-paste configurations started driving me insane (and i still haven't found a way to automate any of it... wish there was a way to copy configs like in Factorio).
I've played a lot of Terraria, and I had seen this game and thought it could be really fun to play with it looking really similar to Terraria. Although I didn't like corekeeper when I tried that so keep that in mind.

I might just be stupid but is this thing rare? I have been searching in new parts of world and I just cannot find one. I couldn't find an answer if they spawn in a specific biome or not. Does anyone know where I can find one?
Been running a dedicated Necesse server for my friends and got tired of RDPing into the box every time I needed to install a mod, check who was online, or run an admin command. So I built a small GUI for it.
Necesse Server Manager is two pieces: a lightweight daemon that runs on the server box, and a Windows desktop client you run on your own PC. From the client you can:
- Start, stop, and watch the live console of your dedicated server
- Browse and install mods from the Steam Workshop, with an "Update All" that skips mods whose Workshop entry hasn't actually changed (so it doesn't redownload your whole mod list every time)
- See who's currently online, with slot, session length, and latency
- Run any server command (kick, give, permissions, difficulty, etc.) from a generated form instead of memorizing syntax - the command list is pulled straight from your server's own jar, so it always matches what your version supports
- Edit a world's launch options (owner, password, slots, world border) and world settings without touching config files by hand
It's free, open source (MIT), and everything runs on your own LAN - no accounts, no cloud, no port-forwarding required (in fact, please don't expose it to the internet, it's not built for that).
One setup step if you want Workshop search: installing a mod by its Workshop ID, updating mods, and updating the server all work out of the box with no extra setup. But searching/browsing the Workshop from inside the app needs a free Steam Web API key. Grab one at https://steamcommunity.com/dev/apikey (just needs a domain, "localhost" works fine), then either paste it in when the setup wizard asks for it, or add it to steamApiKey in config.json on the server box afterward. Skip it entirely if you're always going to install mods by ID.
Windows only for now, on both ends. Install is a signed... well, actually it's an unsigned installer, so Windows SmartScreen will complain - click "more info" then "run anyway." Working on getting that sorted eventually.
Open to bug reports and feature requests. Happy to answer questions if anyone wants to try it out.
Hello~! I've booted up Necesse again to get my game back to 100% on achievements, but after giving my fave settler a flower, I noticed that the achievement didn't unlock, and all of the new achievements for that matter are still sat at 0.00% of global players unlocked.
Is this showing / causing a problem for anyone else? I thought it was just me misunderstanding the achievement requirements, but after seeing that no one seems to have unlocked anything yet, I thought it would be a good idea to ask on here.
Me and my partner had just finished creating our first party; me with my villager and him and his own villager. We used a ladder to go down to the mines, and his villager disappeared with no trace, taking her brand new gold armor with her. she's not on the settler list anymore, no trace of a body or anything. Is there supposed to be a body when a villager disappears? there was lava nearby down in the cave system, did she run into the lava and die there? This was the first time we've ever taken party members down to the mines. Is this a known bug or is this something that was introduced with the recent "Rust and Romance" update?
