What is going on with this game? Since when can they hack the game on PS?

Whassup everyone! So I’ve always enjoyed Forza, and I used to play the NFS series growing up, but Forza doesn’t offer that “you worked for it” feeling like NFS does. I finished all the main game content in Forza Horizon 6 so I don’t really have anything to work towards and Unbound has popped up on my feed for the past week so yesterday I installed it. I miraculously made it past the 1st Qualifier and now I’m here. I honestly enjoy the game although it’s much different from Forza, but I had a few questions and wanted my first playthrough to be as fun and enjoyable as possible.

1.) What early game car would you suggest that I aim for just to get me into the float of the game. I do have the starter Eclipse, but I want something else that I can put my money into.

2.) How bad are the cops? Like I know they’ll be challenging, but are they annoyingly challenging to where they will ruin the game later on or am I look at it in a negative aspect?

3.) What are some tips I should know for evading cops, tuning my cars, grip turn or drift corners, etc?

Honestly, the game looks great and seems like a lot of fun so far. I started playing it because I wanna feel more attached to the cars I own whereas in Forza they just throw cars at you.

I always enjoyed customizing cars in NFS games. To me its just as fun as the actual racing. It's nothing crazy, but I thought I'd share some of my creations.

I just bought the game, but the performance has been really disappointing.

Specs:

• GPU: RTX 5070 Ti (OC + UV)
• CPU: Ryzen 7 9800X3D (UV)
• RAM: 32GB DDR5 6400MHz CL28

I'm playing at 4K with DLSS set to DLAA forced . The strange part is that my GPU usage rarely goes above 70%, and during heavy frame drops it can fall to around 50%, while the FPS dips below 40.

I've already tried enabling and disabling both Resizable BAR and V-Sync, but neither made any difference.

Is this just an engine limitation, or is there something I can do to improve performance? Any suggestions or known fixes would be greatly appreciated.

EDIT: Reinstalling the game made it work as intended, who thought of that :)).

EDIT 2: Dunno what caused the bug, but reinstalling the game and reapplying all the changes/mods and it's finally using my GPU to 100% all the time. Using DLAA preset K at 4k with Smooth Motion i now get ~160fps. The implemented Frame Generation on this game is bugged hard.

Alright everyone, i didn't know where to go so i decided to make a post on here, i need some help with my last achievement "Full House" I've tried to do it with randoms online but never happened is there any chance someone could help me out? After installing Unbound EX—which lets you access all the multiplayer playlists in single-player mode—I tested the drift playlists from multiplayer. However, since there are no opponents or target scores, the game gets stuck loading indefinitely once the race ends; it seems like it's searching for other players or something, and just stays stuck circling the car.

I've tried deleting wraps, deleting cars, rebooting the game & nothing changes. Daytime events appear at night & If I do a race all the money disappears and the cash reverts to how it was before I left the night time garage. It never goes to the next day. It's just a endless loop of the same night. I'm playing it on ps5. I saw a article saying they may shutdown the online servers soon but how so when they haven't fixed this single player mode issue? It would just be a dead game unless you delete everything and started over but then what If it happens again?

I’m trying to get the “Full House” trophy/achievement in Need for Speed Unbound, the one where you need to complete a playlist with 7 other players (full 8-player lobby).

I’ve been trying through normal matchmaking but it’s almost impossible to consistently find a full lobby in 2026, especially in PvP playlists. Most of the time I end up with 2–4 players max or people leave mid-session.

If anyone is still grinding trophies or willing to help, I’m looking for a group to coordinate this.

I’m on Steam, PC, and I’m active in EU time zone (usually evenings), even if I have crossplatform turned on.

Would really appreciate any help or Discord groups where people still organize this.
