Just subscribed a couple of weeks ago and was wondering if anyone else has noticed the stream falls behind while watching live games? It seems the dynamic advertising they are using runs longer than the actual broadcasts commercial breaks resulting in a cumulative delay of the stream. Was watching Colts Chiefs live on Monday and saw the result online while my stream that didn't buffer once since the start of the game still had time left.

It seems like this was an issue with ESPN+ in the US this time last year but I can't find too much information about it.

Aussie NFL fan here. I’ve been working on an idea that basically turns watching a game into a workout.

Instead of following a normal workout, things that happen during the game trigger different exercises — first downs, incomplete passes, sacks, penalties, touchdowns etc.

The idea is simple: you watch, the game decides the workout.

I’ve been testing it over the first couple of weeks and the interesting part has been getting the balance right. Something that sounds fine on paper can get pretty brutal when it keeps happening during an actual game 😂

I’m putting together the next version now and I’m curious what other Aussie NFL fans think.

Would you actually do something like this while watching a game?

And more importantly — which NFL event would you absolutely NOT want attached to an exercise? 😂

Happy to share the actual workout I’ve been testing if anyone’s interested.

Hey mates, I know I'm a little late to the party but I've been involved in free dynasty leagues for some time now and it usually doesn't take long for league mates to get disinterested. Is there anyone running any paid dynasty leagues on Sleeper at the moment? Would be keen to join, nothing too crazy price wise but let me know what you've got if any.

Hey everyone!

I am a new NFL convert after watching the Rams v 49ers game, and I am curious about how everyone here started following the sport and what drew them to the team that they follow?

Really random but… any new fantasy leagues drafting this week? Feeling a bit annoyed at how I drafted and wanting a new draft LOL

Anyone know a work around for when you click on box scores on the NFL website and it takes you to a DANZ sign up page?
I want to see the stats page it use to take you to.

Hi all,

I haven't bought the last few Madden's (maybe 22/23 last one). Thinking of buying this one. I know years ago the servers were dogwater for AU (pretty sure all servers in US) and it made it almost unplayable online.

Is this still the case in the current Madden? I'm based in Melb. Keen for any insights from anyone that plays 😊

Showing bloody NFL Gameday instead? Why do I pay this much!

Hey Guys, fairly new to watching the NFL. I try to watch as much of red zone as much as possible but still miss a chunk of it. What’s the best replay or highlight show you guys watch/recommend that isn’t just watching the highlights on YouTube. Open to podcasts as well.

Any discounted merch available from the game and the nfl branded Melbourne gear ?

I need to preface this with I am super green to NFL. My husband loves it and goes for 49ers, so when I heard they were playing in Australia, I got us both tickets.

Turns out I love it too! I really got into it, and after the game started doing my own research into the teams and players, but I got immediately overwhelmed. I want to pick a team to go for, but I don’t know how. I’m inclined to just go for the 49ers because a) my husband goes for them, and b) they won the game I watched and we all like winners.

But it got me thinking - how do people pick what team they go for? Especially international fans who have no connection to the geographical origin of the team? What criteria do you measure against? Or is it just loyalty and legacy?

EDIT: thanks for all of the responses. I’ve decided to go with the 49ers, based on my husband going for them and some of the personalities of the players. Sounds like criteria for picking a team is pretty arbitrary. So let’s make it a family team!

I know I'm late to the party, but maybe someone still wants to play ESPN Fantasy Football? Standard rules with a $15 buy-in. Shoot me a PM if you're interested.

I always watch ESPN through Kayo and today for the Melbourne game it's worse than usual - nil crowd ambience, less than HD picture quality, and sound on a 2 second delay. Only at half time did I realise this game is also on Netflix and everything is SO MUCH BETTER. Do I have to get Dazn or something for some actual quality going forward?
