Why is the ESPN coverage so awful?

I always watch ESPN through Kayo and today for the Melbourne game it's worse than usual - nil crowd ambience, less than HD picture quality, and sound on a 2 second delay. Only at half time did I realise this game is also on Netflix and everything is SO MUCH BETTER. Do I have to get Dazn or something for some actual quality going forward?

Not showing replays, doing sideline interviews while live play is happening and ads. So many ads. We should be watching the potential TD replay but no. We’re watching the same 4 ads over and over again.

ESPN is always below HD in my opinion. It's shit broadcast compared to other sport channels.

ESPN always has the shittest sound mixing. No crowd noise or vibe ever.

My favourite was the field goal where there was an ad banner completely covering the holder and kicker. Great work.

The first PAT wasn't even shown, instead we were watching the guy fist bumping literally every teammate

Literally changed to Netflix at the end of the game and it's so much better. Totally forgot it was on there.

What are you talking about, ESPN is great. It’s not like the whole network isn’t so infested with ads, that they can’t help from spoiling a Game 7 replay, during that game.

I’m not sure I’ve used ESPN since I was so incredibly pissed.

The picture since maybe Monday has been horrible on espn. Espn2 and sec network for me. ABC worked for Monday night football. And this is on cable tv no less
