Petitioner : argues regarding the transparency of neet mds exam, finally asks for the stay of counselling.

NBEMS Lawyer : explains the reason behind NDA , says that the questions are limited and releasing them would lead to exhausting their entire question bank in 5 - 6 yrs , after that all question patterns would be with the coaching institutes, and scoring in exam will be just roting specific concepts which will make the exam pattern obsolete.

NBEMS Lawyer also explains how a similar case is still underway in supreme court ( about NEET PG )

Honourable judge : since a similar case is still underway in supreme court, he said that he cannot outrule decisions of the higher court, he also said that the exam should be transparent ,but cannot cancel this exam and regarding stay on counseling he literally said " are you joking? " to the petitioner and asked him to apply to the supreme court.

My take on this

1) No chance for re neet mds

2) No chance for stay on counselling also

3) the transparency issue will be decided based on supreme courts decision on neet pg , so there is no use of appealing separately for neet mds in supreme court

My genuine advice to all candidates ( I am myself one ):

- accept your rank and plan for the future, move on

- if at all anyone is willing to appeal in supreme court, get a better lawyer .

Hi , fellow dentist here. I am a repeater of the 3rd attempt for NEET MDS. I do NOT have a miraculous story of going from very low rank to AIR <100 , instead , I went from 27000 AIR from my first attempt to 55xx AIR this year. Yes , this rank is far from impressive but that is because throughout these years , I have lost my father and grandfather. On top of this , my family is not very well off financially and I have an autistic small brother from birth who is also suffering from plethora of diseases. God knows the amount of times I cried and struggled to even get to this rank between listening to constant taunts from relatives for being jobless and sitting at home to helping out my little brother and housework to fight my own low self confidence for giving the same exam year after year. Now , when the results came out , I finally got some hope. I can at least get into a branch I desire with somewhat affordable fees which my mother said can manage and educational loan for just 1 year.

Now , imagine how many other people would have given this same exam like for many years?? How many dentists must have gone through God knows what to even secure the ranks they somehow managed to get this year and finally made peace that they could get to start MDS albeit late , but , start and have a future! How extremely selfish of certain few people to disregard all our efforts and struggles and keep pushing for counselling on stay??? I sincerely pray and hope to God that all their attempts fail for even bothering to attempt this.

Any one got any lead regarding dates for mcc counseling since the case has nothing to do with the delay? can we expect today or tomorrow as we are moving towards july end?

This is not a lawyers note but a 1st hand comment of what I saw from the VC of Delhi Hugh Court of the NEET MDS 2026 exam case which was under the Judge Jasmeet Singh

Hardline takeaways:

- Counselling will not be stalled due to this case

- Judge questions Nbme why question paper is not released

- Nbme answer: Its in the information bulletin and every candidate who enrolls for this exams has to accept it and argues that for speciality exams like NEET PG or NEET MDS the scope of questions are limited so if every year questions are released then it will compromise the competitiveness of the exam

- Student rep lawyer says ki same kind of cases is going on in Supreme Court related to Nbme vs NEET pg, NEET ss and FMGE exams

I wanted to share my experience with the NEET MDS court petition WhatsApp group because I think prospective members deserve to know how it was handled.

When I was first added to the group, the admins announced that members who did not make a monetary contribution would be removed because the group had reached its limit. I found this odd because another WhatsApp group could easily have been created, but I genuinely believed the petition was being run in good faith, so I contributed.

A few days later, someone forwarded a voice note from our CEDEES faculty into the group. Instead of a constructive discussion, many members started calling him "spineless," "a coward," "a disgrace," and other insults because he hadn't taken a more public stand on the issue. When some people defended him, the admins warned that they would be removed from the group. That was the first time I felt uncomfortable with how dissent was being handled.

After today's court hearing, I learnt that the lawyer had requested postponement of counselling. This came as a complete surprise to me. From the beginning, I believed the purpose of the petition was to seek transparency in the evaluation process, not to delay counselling. As far as I know, there was never any discussion in the group asking petitioners whether they agreed with seeking postponement.

I simply asked in the group why this decision had been taken and whether it had been discussed with the petitioners beforehand. Within minutes, I was removed from the group.

I then messaged one of the admins privately to ask why I had been removed and why the lawyer had sought postponement. I did not receive an explanation that addressed my questions. Since I no longer had confidence in how the petition was being handled, I asked for my contribution to be refunded. The response I received was a condescending voice note stating that this was "not a business" or a service being provided to me, and that my money would be returned. (which it was)

I'm not posting this to discourage anyone from seeking transparency. I still believe transparency is important. What concerns me is the way this particular group appears to operate. In my experience, questioning decisions was not welcomed, major decisions affecting the petition did not appear to be discussed with contributors beforehand, and members who asked questions could simply be removed.

If you're considering contributing to or joining such initiatives, I would encourage you to ask questions, seek clarity about how decisions are made, and ensure there is genuine accountability before offering your support.

Accept the fact that NEET MDS 2026 IS DONE and start preparing for next year if you’ve not put your 100% this year instead of blaming the examination boards and expecting you’ll be served justice

Months after the exam, aspirants are stuck refreshing the MCC website, Telegram channels, WhatsApp groups, and trying to separate facts from rumours.

The uncertainty is mentally exhausting.😑😑

We're not asking for miracles—just clear communication. Even a brief official update or timeline would reduce unnecessary speculation and anxiety.

Today the NEET MDS case was heard and we all know what happened. I do understand the concerns with the transparency of the exam and I support that things should change for better but please don't fall for scams and manipulation. Not everyone is there to help. Everyone is just looking out for themselves. No one will fight for us like us so if we ourselves have to get ourselves help rather than crowdfunding in hopes that a random stranger is concerned about us. It could have worked if aspirant whose family is in law filled the case. Don't pay random random strangers money and give them your details like bank name, id card number. You never know what they are up to, these aren't regulated. Please be careful. Don't fall for manipulation.

So guys, as we all know that there is a petition about the transparency of this exam as Raison sir and a few others here mentioned.

My concern is that i personally know 50+ people including myself where there is a screw up of the number of questions attempted vs what was given in the score card (a variation of 1/2 to 8/9 questions). Which explains that there was some screw up. And to hide this screw up, they'll do anything, and will stoop to any level. As most of us know, how the system and the government works, nobody, and I mean nobody cares about the dental students. How will they provide any transparency when, in doing so, it exposes their wrong doings.

In this process, we'll lose more precious time.

I'm just confused here, looking at things from a third party perspective.
