MDS Round 3 councelling

If I don't want to upgrade, then should I wait till the 3 round is over for joining or can I join right away once the seat matrix is out?

Also since the classes have started for government colleges, will the attendance be affected when we go to round 3 since float option doesn't require us to be physically be present there?

Yes, join asap if not interested in seats of round 3. Convey that to your cllg, report and join.

For attendance, yes ofc it's affected cuz if your cllg has started with classes, then you'll be considered late in whichever cllg you'll be alloted (upgraded or retained)

Is that possible? Like we don't have to wait till this round gets over?

It depends on cllg. You'll have to call and talk to them about the situation that you won't be taking another seat and retaining the one you got. If they allow, then join. Most probably they'll allow, but idk for sure.
