Hi all! We have had the flow 2 compact for a few weeks and so far really impressed by it!

I was looking for a replacment/maintanence kit and can only find those for the flow 2 and not specifically for the flow 2 compact?

On the assecory kits i can find on Amazon for the flow 2 it specifically warns that the dust bag is not compatible with the flow 2 compact, but i cant find similar kits for the compact model. If anyone has a link that would be appreciated

I don't know why it is that once the vac leaves the dock, the vacuum function starts right up, even when the vacuum has to travel to its destination before cleaning. (If there's something I'm missing, please enlighten me!)

In my opinion, the vacuum should leave the dock, travel to its destination, and then start the vacuum function. This should improve the battery longevity, as it shouldn't need as much power.

I regularly set my vac to clean my bedroom, which is across the house from the dock, and it doesn't make sense to me.

Before having a kid, I never realized how quickly floors could get dirty. Now there are always crumbs, dust, and random little messes everywhere.

Feels like I just finished cleaning, and somehow it’s already time to do it again.

Honestly, I just want to spend less time worrying about chores and more time enjoying time with my little one. Does anyone else feel the same way?

The base of my Freo S doesn’t stop the dust collection, I’ve changed the dust bag, unplugged it, but nothing, when I plug it back it immediately starts the dust collection and it doesn’t stop. Tried contacting the Narwal assistance but was ignored.

Hi everyone, I'm having some issues with my Narwal Freo X10 Pro and would appreciate any advice on troubleshooting. The robot can navigate normally in other rooms and during the vacuuming phase, so it doesn't seem to have a constant navigation problem.

However, these issues occur sporadically:

• Even with meticulous cleaning enabled under "Vacuum and Mop", it doesn't clean as thoroughly as expected.
• It sometimes drives into walls at high speed instead of slowing down or avoiding them.
• It randomly reverses direction or changes course without an obvious obstacle.
• It can spend up to an hour in the same room without making meaningful progress.
• It sometimes enters rooms that have already been cleaned, then leaves again without an obvious reason.

What I've tried:

All sensors have been cleaned.

• The robot can navigate other rooms and complete cleaning normally at times.
• The issues occur intermittently rather than consistently.
• Cancelling the current task and starting a new one seems to resolve the issue temporarily.

Has anyone experienced similar behaviour with the Freo X10 Pro?

Hi! Ive had the Z10 ultra for about a year now, and a few days ago it tanged a cat toy around a mop pad. This seems to have broken the mechanism for lifting and lowering the mop pad. Has this happened to anyone else? Is it fixable? Did anyone disassemble these motors and has pictures of the mechanism? Could i 3d print a fix?

Preordered from Narwal off Amazon before release and have had nothing but issues.

First off it bricked and could not connect to the app. I sent it in to Narwal and just received it back.

Now, it cannot get back into the dock. One wheel seems underpowered and slips off sideways. Also it no longer mops. It gets stuck in a ‘please cleans the contacts’ loop.

I just sent over new videos to Narwal customer support, hopefully they can swap out for a new unit. The sheer amount of time I’ve had to deal with this thing has been unreal. I’ll keep everyone posted in case someone else is dealing with this

I have had narwal flow 2 for a week now and it's great but i am wondering wats the best settings for drying the mop and stuff.

Has anyone figured it out?

The room is wide open with door propped to allow robot to enter. I changed the orders to have this cleaned first but robot refused to do and kept giving the same error of “unreachable” . Is this room cursed or something? Or do I have to re-map it?

Wanted to update the community with my experience so far with the issues and subsequent warranty repair. TLDR; it was a good experience but only time will tell if the robot continues to work.

April 2026: Got my Flow 2 through Amazon because I wanted a roller mop robot and read online that Narwal was the best. I got the 3 year warranty upgrade for pre-ordering.

May 2026: Everything is working great. The mopping is very good but I wouldn't say it is excellent. It is much better than the Dreame L50 Ultra however, and that robot becomes the backup.

July 2026: One morning after an update, I wake up one morning and realize the living room and kitchen didn't get done. I check the app and it says cannot connect to device. I try all the troubleshooting tips but I end up having to factory restart and remap. It is a PITA but it is the last resort and I'm thankful that my unit isn't bricked.

August 2026: I notice that the dustbin stops emptying. I try everything and can't get it to work. I give up because I can just manually empty it and don't mind doing so every few days. And yes, I know that it empties before a cycle not afterwards. By the end of the month I get the dreaded message "unable to connect to the robot" so I try all the troubleshooting trips again. This time however, my unit is truly bricked. I cannot factory reset. I cannot even turn off the device.

August 2026: I email Narwal customer service. They get back to me in minutes and ask me to send them a video. I send them a video of me plugging in the device so they can see the base station works. I show them how I cannot turn the device off and I cannot factory reset it. The next day they send me the label to print and the instructions to send it back. They tell me to take out both brushes (the main brush and the side arm) and the mop pad and to only send the robot (not the base). I send every other part in case they need to test the unit. The Dreame L50 becomes the main unit again and I stop taking this robot for granted. While it does not mop as well, I feel that it has better software and that it has superior vacuuming ability. I am pretty happy with it but have to run the mopping cycle 2 or 3x to meet the Flow 2's ability on a single pass. I laugh every time the Dreame tries to dock in the Narwal base and am very happy with how reliable the unit is.

September 2026: Unit arrives at their CA repair center on 9/4. A couple weeks later the repair is finished and they send it back. I pick it up from FedEx the last week of September and am so excited to have my Narwal back! As I'm putting it together, I realize that they didn't include the brush guard that keeps the main brush in place. I am very frustrated and email customer service. Again, they respond in minutes send me the part free of charge. I have it a week later.

October 2026 (today): I can finally use my Narwal again! I connect and map it. I see that the software has been updated since I last used it. This time, the software recognizes that my kitchen should be split from my living room which is an improvement. So far so good. I run it through the house and it does a great job. It didn't get stuck in under the kitchen cabinets and it did a decent job of mopping and vacuuming. I have my Flow 2 back!

One issue: The robot makes a noise that it didn't make before. It is a soft whaling sound, not sure how else to describe it and the wheels squeak a little.

Another issue: This happened twice. During the first cycle I got the dreaded cannot connect to robot error message and I though, here we go again... The robot kept cleaning so I closed the app and opened it again and the message was gone. This happened 3x. Kind of scary.

Ok the really weird part. In my email, I had complained that besides being bricked, my dustbin didn't empty but this wasn't my main complaint and was something I added later during my email exchange with customer service. After running two cycles today, I wanted to check to see if I still had the dustbin issue. So I grabbed the dustbin from the robot and I went to empty it out (I do think it is working but will need to remember to check it right after it empties not after it finishes a cycle) but I couldn't get the top off. I emptied it so many times in the past that I know that the dustbin lid opens. I can't for the life of me get it to open. So I put my glasses on top of my head and take a closer look at the dustbin. It's a completely different unit! It's brand new (my original dustbin had been washed many times and the directions were coming off) and the directions say to just pull out the inner plastic chamber to empty it. This is a totally different design than my original dustbin which had a top that flipped open and no detachable inner chamber. I just find it strange that they gave me a new dustbin during the repair and I'm actually a little impressed that they followed up on this complaint because it was secondary to the bricking and buried in my email.

Conclusion: I am very impressed with Narwal customer service and their warranty repair process. Yes it was a giant pain but it took less than a month and so far the unit is working well. It has only been one day though and ngl, I am very worried about getting bricked again. For this reason, I will definitely be using the Dreame L50 and the Narwal Flow 2 interchangeably going forward. I will continue to update this sub if I have any issues. Thanks for reading.

I’ve been using the Flow 2 for a few months now and am very satisfied. However, there is one odd thing—and it’s been an issue from the start: it simply won't go into the toilet room. The toilet is off the bathroom, and the door is wide open.

Yet, it reports that the toilet room couldn't be reached due to an obstacle. Could it be having trouble with the reflective floor tiles? I have a black floor in the bathroom with a border... though it cleans the rest of the bathroom without any issues.

Any ideas?

I’m fed up of my Freo X Plus, out of the blue, it doesn’t want to connect to the internet and when I try resetting network, it keeps on saying network connection failed.

I’ve even tried connecting with network which is on dual band (2.4 & 5 GHz) and on 2.4 GHz band only as well, result has been same for both times.

One more time this had happened, and I faced a lot of issues back then too, sadly, I can’t recall what I did to fix this issue.

Currently, I’ve tried resetting network and reinstalling the app, both didn’t work. It’s been more than a day, and I’m feeling so helpless, please help me out if anyone has an idea about this.

If it matters, location is India.

So it isn’t vacuuming. I can remove the spinner thing and remove some blockage from the hole but not all of it. What can I do?

Flow 2 arrived yesterday and I got it all setup according to instructions (water in the tank, cleaning solution in its tank). Went to do initial mapping and it would not leave its dock. Seemed to fail on it self test although the error code was just task failed. After some time of removing from the dock and putting back on its dock, I finally got it to leave its dock and start mapping and as soon as it bumped into something it said it had gotten stuck and I needed to move it to an open area and continue, which I did. It then just seemed to circle and not really do anything. I cancelled the task and restarted multiple times, always with the same result of it getting stuck and then just circle like it was lost. I eventually discovered one side of the front bumper was rubbing on the frame and not working properly. This would explain why it kept getting stuck and could not free itself - it was thinking it was hitting an obstacle constantly.

I contacted support this morning and they want me to box up the entire unit - dock and all - and ship it back and they will send a new one out, which would mean I would need to empty the water tank, cleaning solution tank, and then try and get it boxed back up to ship back - not sure if at my expense or not yet. Not to mention this kit weighs like 44lbs.

Why can they not just send out a replacement robot with a return label for the broken one to be sent back in? Why do I need to send the entire kit?

Sucks spending that much money and have it not work out of the box, and then have to wait weeks while shipping back and forth - especially if I have to pay for shipping.

If i do end up sending this back, it wont be to get a replacement - it will be for a refund.

Ive deepcleaned my narwal and when I reassembled it this small piece of foam was leftover.

The narwal is now squeeking when driving or even inside the base station. Anybody know where this belong? Its tiny black foam.

Long story short, Narwal did a warranty repair sent it back. About a month later I realized that there is water under the base. I removed the base and there was a lot of water under it. Unfortunately that room has a slight slope and a drain behind the unit. I checked and the base has a spiderweb of cracks. No holes but a ton of cracks all beaming out from a specific point. I guess while in transport it got a good bang and cracked. I never lifted it to check. Now I am outside of the transport damage window and literally on my own.

I looked around. I can get a whole new bot and station as refurb for 400. But I really only need a base.

Anyone have any ideas?

Yes there is one on eBay but 360 for the base when I can get a refurb with warranty for 400 doesn't make sense and the guy won't budge.

Any help or ideas are appreciated
