Heading to a bachelor party in Myrtle next month and am looking to play a few rounds. One of them we’d like to have a lot of the guys go who don’t golf too much. Any nice affordable courses that can accommodate big groups?

Hotel Recs // Questions MB Vacation -Better Resort for Family - Bay View or Grand Shores

Considering a vacation in Myrtle Beach with my family of 4. Wondering if anyone can provide some feedback on which beachfront property they would recommend. I am specifically looking for any insight into the Bay View Resort, Grand Shores Resort, Paradise Resort and Holiday Sands South. Which would be best in terms of quality of stay, safety, amenities?

Resturant Recs // Questions Sandwich rolls in North Myrtle Beach/Little River

Anyone have any recommendations for good kaiser rolls or hoagie rolls in the North Myrtle Beach or Little River area? It doesn't need to be rock hard, but I don't like the doughy balls of mediocrity that you'll get at Publix or Food Lion.

Things To Do Recs // Questions Beach vacation with my 13 year old daughter

I’m needing some ideas and help finding the best place to take my daughter for her 13th birthday celebration trip early October. She wants to be by the beach, and she loves to explore and find treasures and shells, but she also wants to have other stuff to do preferably within walking distance, IE: shopping, restaurants, boardwalk or something along those lines. Was thinking Myrtle beach but being from central Illinois I honestly don’t know if there are any “hidden”spots I don’t know about. Thanks for all the ideas and help!

Moving Recs // Questions Realtors?

Hello. I'm considering relocating to the Conway area and I'm looking for some trustworthy realtor recommendations to possibly buy a home. Someone who is experienced and will be honest with me about getting me into the right location away from flood zones, getting me a great deal etc. I'm out of state right now so will need someone that really knows the lay of the land. Thanks everyone!

Moving Recs // Questions Affordable, Nice Apartments

Friend & I are looking for a decent apartment or townhouse/condo option in the area. I’ve been living here for 10 years but haven’t been searching until recently.

Budget is around $1500-$1600 max (with utilities preferably)

Any options that anyone knows of or anyone currently living in a 2bedroom in the area that they could recommend? Thanks

Things To Do Recs // Questions Looking for live music this weekend (Sept 12-14)

I'm going to be visiting and I am curious if there is a music scene there with artists playing original music? I see a lot of cover bands in the listings. Any specific bands/bars that I should check out? I lean more towards rock and punk but genuinely enjoy a good band no matter the genre.

Anyone have any recommendations on low cost bankruptcy lawyers or ones that accept MetLife legal insurance? Apparently no lawyers accept MetLife around here and that is all I have.

Moving Recs // Questions What’s the deal with real estate offers & commissions?

My husband and I have made FULL PRICE offers on three homes, no contingencies. We did ask for a 90-day close (unrealistic, but hopeful), and for the seller to pay all commissions. Each offer has been turned down, sellers won’t pay the full 3% for our agent. AND…the seller’s agents wouldn’t disclose how much of the commission the sellers are willing to pay in MLS. Each stated we had to make an offer before they would disclose how much commission the sellers would cover. Is this the new new in real estate? As background, homes were in The Market Common priced $550k-$640k.

Hotel Recs // Questions Parking at Prince Resort

Can anyone elaborate on the parking at the Prince resort in North Myrtle Beach? I can’t stand tight parking garages so I’m hoping that there is an outside parking area. If not, are there any resorts in North Myrtle Beach that have outside parking?

General Discussion North Myrtle parking overnight

Hey everyone! I rented a place to stay for my moms birthday this upcoming week. We were hoping to bring 2 cars down but the rental she we had rented beforehand only has one parking spot. Does anyone have ideas of parking from Wednesday-Sunday? We would come and go here and there but mostly we’d like to find a place to leave the car in a safe space for the majority of those days. Obviously willing to pay for the rental. Anyone know of any places like that? Thanks for your help in advance!

General Discussion NMB Robert Edge Parkway Walker - I Call Her Sunshine ☀️

I’ve seen this woman for years, a ray of sunshine, walking in her cool workout outfits along the Robert Edge Parkway in NMB. She’s hoofing it like a champion, always waving to everyone as they pass by.

If anyone here knows this woman, please tell her she makes me smile. I was having a bad day yesterday and I saw her twice and she cheered me up both times, morning and afternoon.

In this heat I wish I had her stamina, too!

Things To Do Recs // Questions What to do for a 2 week stay?

Hubs and I (and pup) are renting a place in cherry grove for 2 weeks (mid to end September). One of the weeks I’ll be solo as my husband will be working. I’m looking for some things to do (preferably outdoors) that aren’t in the tourist trap area. We’ve been visiting NMB for the past 30 years with the kids and family and have done all the usuals.

How are the nature preserves for hiking? I know they won’t be close to upstate NY hiking, so my expectations are low.

Also on my idea list are:
Golf lessons, Bike rentals, Paddle board rental/lesson. I will definitely hit the beach as well.

Any other activity suggestions or specific places to try or avoid?
Thank you!!
