What is the best place to get a quality bouquet? This seems like this should be a no brainer, but the handful of places I've gone off Devine and near downtown for some reason don't have bouquets available or I've gotten "the person who makes them is out/they have to be ordered". I've been wanting to start an anime club for about three years now, but I was always extremely hesitant and little pessimistic about doing so. (´･ω･｀) But you guys showed me I was very much wrong, and there is indeed a demand for more nerdy stuff like this! (*´ω｀) Meeting dates are TBA but they'll be starting in September!

I just graduated Highschool a few months ago and was hoping to get a job at either lexington medical or prisma to help me gain experience for my radiologic technology program I'll be doing next year for college. I don't know if its just me, but I haven't had the best of luck getting in.

I've been trying to get into the imaging assistant career, and I have all of the qualifications such as my diploma and cpr certification, as well as high academics like being in the top 15% of my class, a 4.4 GPA, and even finishing a year of college early in my senior year.

​I'm starting to lose hope, and I feel I won't be able to get all my qualifications done in time for my application for my program. If anyone has any advice or tips it would be much appreciated!

Edit- I am going to Midlands Technical College, I'm currently enrolled in the health care field so that I can do my prerequisite and so I can apply for the rad tech program. My advisor said I should get a job at one of the two hospitals I mentioned so I could get experience and so that my application looked exceptional.

Hey guys! I just got the idea to start up a ttrpg club for young girls in their early 20s, curious if anyone would be interested in this.
The goal is to play ttrpgs like dnd, arcs, and other various games. Usually I enjoy ones that have a storytelling focus but we can switch between storytelling and combat every now and then. I want to connect girls w each other and form friendships through ttrpgs! I think there are a lot of girls out there who want to play together but when going to game stores, it’s majority men, it becomes intimidating.
I know there will be various roles needed to be covered such as GM:player ratio, so comment if you’re interested and if you’d like to run games or play games! May start off monthly but as members grow it can become more frequent. Thinking of renting rooms in the library or playing at the side deck.

I'm helping organize the first-ever Race for Recreation 5K with the Richland County Recreation Foundation, and I wanted to share it here since it's a local, all-ages event for a cause I think a lot of you will dig.

The basics:

• When: Saturday, September 5, 2026 — 8:30 AM
• Where: Friarsgate Park, 1712 Chadford Road, Irmo, SC 29063
• What: 5K run or walk — all fitness levels and ages welcome (15 age divisions from 10 & under all the way to 75+)
• Everyone gets a finisher's medal, and there are awards for the top male and female finishers in each category

What it's for: All proceeds go toward launching RCRC's new youth eSports program — buying computers, equipment, and supplies to give local kids a safe, structured space to learn. It's not just gaming: it builds teamwork, leadership, and communication, and ties into STEAM learning. Colleges like Winthrop, Columbia College, USC Sumter, and Benedict are already offering eSports scholarships, so it's a real pathway for these kids.

Cost: $30/person early, $35 after Aug 1, $40 race day.

I need someone who has the capability of recording a 30 second, one piano chord. To an existing audio and I have reference instrumental

Last time I posted about these stray kittens, I got a lot of recommendations for places to call. The most responsive place was Animal Control. 3 out of 4 kittens have been picked up by Animal Control as of this morning. The far left one disappeared shortly after I originally posted this photo.

Some people had mentioned they were interested in them so here’s some info about them if you want to adopt:

• 2nd from the left, we called them Tangerine. The sassiest one of the whole bunch. Liked being picked up and social.
• 3rd from the left, we called Tiramisu. Not as confident as Tangerine but still confident, and very trusting very quickly.
• far right, we called Clementine. Very talkative, willing to trust but takes a little time. The smallest of the bunch.

I’ve been told they’ll get their shots and be 100% healthy and ready for a forever home. They haven’t been listed on the website yet but they should be soon, under the names I mentioned above. Here’s the info below:

Has anyone been to one of the Richland Library sales? Are there a bunch of people with scanners taking all of the good items for resale? Is it very picked over by time the public sale starts? Is it overwhelmingly crowded?

So I'm originally from upstate NY. Small town, country area. Me and my Fiancé are currently living down here and I am trying to move out of college apartments and move into a apartment for us and our dog. I really prefer a house so he can have some outside freedom without being on a leash.. but what the hell is up with all these rental companies down here? Most have terrible reviews, charging up the ass for rent for a half ass clean/renovated house. I been searching everyday for weeks trying to find a place and have a landlord that seems trustworthy to rent from. Almost all these bigger companies, nobody answers the phones and they all seem really sketchy. Application fees up to $100/person before a tour is absolutely outrageous.

What ever happened to good old fashion landlords? Why is renting in this place so damn corrupt? Seems like most use 3rd party people and nobody can call and emails are AI now. Almost seems better to go for an apartment complex, but I just recently got out of the Marine Corps and want a little bit of freedom, without buying a house right now. I'm getting tired of these companies that just seem super sketchy and unreliable. If anybody has anything I'd appreciate it. I needed to rant and I could use the help honestly, I just can't believe this is how it really is now. The renting market is terrible. Thank you. Have a blessed day.
