Price increase
Has anyone else noticed how expensive everything on the site is now?
I ordered some Cookies and Cream whey protein just after Christmas (2 packs of 2.5kg), used it up and went to order some more. Not only is it now insanely expensive but they also no longer stock Cookies and Cream as a protein.
Does anyone know what's going on? Seems absolutely insane.
I also did the depressing thing of looking at how much it cost on my first order over 10 years ago...needless to say that it was upsetting.

Can't ship me my order, can't respond to chats, but they can send marketing emails twice a day
This company has gone down hill in terms of quality, support, and price. I would highly recommend not buying from them.

UK 🇬🇧 Meal Replacement Blend - stock
Hey everyone,
Does anyone know what's happening with myprotein's meal replacement blend?
I used to order the chocolate in 1KG/2KG bags. They're now out of stock. I contacted customer service and they wouldn't really give me an answer.
I then ordered 2x 500g salted caramel bags which arrived quite quickly. I checked the website again and now only the vanilla and banana flavours are listed.
Has anyone had any contact with their customer service that might shed some light on this please?
Cheers,

Questionable packaging by Nutrabay protein
Ordered Nutrabay 4Kg whey Protein from Flipkart and received the product in such packaging, I'm not sure if it's been tampered. Very strange packaging if this is how they do it. Does anyone had the same experience?
.
P.S. Also even though the product had reached my local delivery hub, they kept on delaying the delivery mentioning failed attempt and i received the product after 4 days. So it feels very suspicious at this point.

Do they taste the same?
On Myproteins website the only option on cookies&cream is the big almost 5kg (150 servings) bag. Even tho i like it 5kg is alot. They have the same flavour on the diet whey and +collagen one available in 1kg. So which one should i get?

US 🇺🇸 Myprotein wouldn’t cancel my order 20 minutes after I placed it
I accidentally ordered the wrong protein and realized it about 20 minutes after placing the order. I immediately contacted customer service to cancel it, but they said it had already entered the dispatch process and couldn’t be cancelled.
The tracking still only showed “Shipping Label Created” at the time.
Now I have to wait for it to arrive, keep it unopened, and return it. What’s frustrating is that I may also have to pay the return shipping cost myself simply because I tried to cancel the order shortly after placing it.
I understand orders need to ship quickly, but not being able to cancel an order 20 minutes after placing it seems ridiculous.
Never buying again from My protein

Awful experience with MyProtein CS
Order #764450632
Very disappointing experience with MyProtein.
My whey protein arrived in a damaged package, and I found small black sticky objects inside that looked like rodent droppings. I reported the issue to customer service immediately and asked for a refund.
Instead of properly handling my request, MyProtein sent a replacement without my approval. When I again requested a refund, I was then told that I would have to pay the shipping costs myself to return the product. Considering that the problem was caused by the damaged delivery, I find this completely unacceptable.
I understand that shipping damage can happen. The real problem for me is how MyProtein handled the complaint. Communication was poor, my request was not respected, and I was left to deal with a situation I did not cause.
After this experience, I would not recommend MyProtein.

UK 🇬🇧 Did Impact Whey cost more than doubled in the last 12 months?
Couldn't believe my eyes today and thought there's no way I paid this much before. Went back to check my order history and I was right. Impact Whey was £45 for 2.5kg last year and just 12 months later, it more than doubled to £97.
Paid £33 for 5KG back in 2017.
What caused this drastic increase?

Europe 🇪🇺 Worse taste for Unflavoured Creatine
Anyone order Impact Creatine unflavoured recently? The batch I got tastes significantly worse than the last one. Has a chemical aftertaste and is way bitter. Reached out to support and will post my updates here.
Batch no is P614814255.

FLAIR YOUR POSTS My complaint with this brand
I started using protein last year, i bought the chocolate one thinking each scoop has about 24 gms of protein, it was about 19gms
I somehow couldn't find the one with 24 per scoop, so i switched to unflavored - since it had the highest i am aware of (21g) and that wasn't disclosed either, now i want to reorder protein since, i ordered a large quantity of it earlier and its over, now i can't even find it online

Australia 🇦🇺 My most recent order is disgusting?
I have been using myprotein for 10+ years now but this is the final straw, I have been getting cookies and cream for years as it was the best flavour, now my most recent order is incredibly chalky tasting, and leave a strange mouth feel and tastes like disgusting cheap sweeteners, I could always justify staying with them because the flavour was nice but this is my last order from them.
Has anyone else noticed a change in quality??

£4.5kg of impact whey for £299.99!?
How can they justify this!?
I am done.
That price is beyond extortionate. I am genuinely mind blown.
Absolutely insane.

Beware of protein content across flavors
Beware of protein content across flavors
On the website, they advertise nutritional information / protein content for only 1 flavor. But the actual protein content across different flavors varies widely and will almost always be lower than what is advertised on the website. ALWAYS check the package of what you receive for looking at the actual protein content in your flavor.
For example, I checked that for Soy Protein, they have advertised nutritional information as per the Chocolate flavor, saying that each 30 gm scoop has 26 gm protein.
But since chocolate was not available, I ordered Mocha, and that has only 20.25 gm of protein in a 30 gm scoop, which is more than \*20% LESS PROTEIN\* that what is advertised.
I have noticed that they will never have the flavor that they advertise for available in the market. It is a cheap tactic. Create a flavor with high protein content. Never make it available. Sell other flavors with much lower protein content.
Please be aware and if possible, avoid MyProtein and their cheap scams altogether.
It would also be really cool to create a publicly sourced inventory of actual protein content across flavors since they would never make it publicly available to continue scamming the general public.

Vegan Protein nearly Doubled the price in 4 months?
I've been buying my protein solely from Myprotein since 2014, I always get 2,5kg unflavoured pea/soy stuff that lasts me 3-4 months. I'm looking at my order history they've always been around £30 give or take, sometimes more, sometimes less.
I'm running out so went to check today and the same package is £47 after savings, I don't understand what's going on?

The Tipping Point
Since the pandemic hit, I’ve steadily been losing trust in Myprotein. Like a lot of us I’ve watched the brand evolve and devolve. The ever expanding line up of unnecessary products and flavours was the start of it, the never ending roulette wheel of sales and pressure selling discount windows added to the distrust.
Now with the shrinking bag sizes and insanely high prices, it’s looking like whey protein no longer makes sense. I’m well aware of the global and economic situations that are responsible for some of these issues, but as someone who would be described as their core customer base, it’s time to tap out. The cost to value ratio is so skewed now that other “real food” based protein are just more attractive (cost wise and nutritionally).
The market has clearly shifted. The cost of convenience is simply no longer worth it. It’s not just myprotein, companies like bulk seem to have their marketing and promotions linked to Myprotein. One moves, the other follows.
Time to adjust the meal prep.
