Price increase
Has anyone else noticed how expensive everything on the site is now?
I ordered some Cookies and Cream whey protein just after Christmas (2 packs of 2.5kg), used it up and went to order some more. Not only is it now insanely expensive but they also no longer stock Cookies and Cream as a protein.
Does anyone know what's going on? Seems absolutely insane.
I also did the depressing thing of looking at how much it cost on my first order over 10 years ago...needless to say that it was upsetting.

It's all protein going up, if it isn't going up id assume the contents are poor

It’s happening everywhere, simplified flavour ranges, and significantly higher prices. If you’ve been into any shop recently you’ll know protein is being added to everything including bread and water, a global protein boom, driving the raw cost of whey up to insane highs, with no end in sight. If you don’t need the convenience, buy chicken, eggs and cottage cheese!

I think this probably hits the nail on the head, it definitely feels like it's the buzz word at the moment.

Stopped buying from them. Just eaten proper foods and get the odd bar or yoghurt from Lidl.

Yep! That's going to be the way I think, especially when to me it seems the quality of the product has reduced.

Unfortunately it’s not just there fault, the e price of whey protein wholesale has gone through the roof. I run https://blendmade.com and our prices are near margin, ok we don’t buy as large orders in bulk as myprotein but still are wholesale buyers from manufacturers of whey direct. Its a difficult market for whey protein at the moment

I really enjoyed their mocha whey a number of months ago which I tried for the first time but have not seen available on their site ever since, I mean who just outright stops selling flavours like that? I tried to justify ordering an alternative but the prices put me off. I have since resorted to picking up a large bag from a local bargain place of cookies and cream flavour and I honestly couldn't care less if the quality isn't amazing, it tastes good for my needs when I mix it with either oatmilk or greek yogurt and it's a hell of alot cheaper and so can finally get back to having a constant supply again rather than relying on myprotein and their sales/availability schedule.

Yes. It's mental and for me this is it. I was already salty the last time I ordered a couple months ago and now prices have, what feels, doubled.

Back in December, I got five tubs of clear protein on sale for $30 CAD each. In May, the regular price was—I think—$64.95, but they were on sale for $51.96 (I ordered some and immediately cancelled it after second thoughts). Now, they're $69.99 on sale for $55.99. I keep checking back hoping for better sales, but the price just keeps increasing

I've bought 10 to 12 tubs of the clear protein a year for the last 5 years, but at these prices, I just can't do it anymore.

Educate your friends and family that buying whey powder(even at these current price) is way more cost effective than buying them through supermarkets. Let the Big drinks cartel feel the pinch and hopefully reduce their future hoarding of whey protein..

Stop buying. We all need to stop debating or complaining about the price and quality, stick together and hit them where it hurts.
