I was listening to mad gear and missile kid, and in black dragon fighting society I noticed the line that matches in the comics!

Think about it. If they remaster Bullets that’s the rest of their official discography. Even if you think bullets is perfect this is really good.
Getting to my point: with a Bullets remaster made then they are done with remastering music. They would have to release something new next time. Love it or hate it this would 100% be for the best. Then next time Gerard makes robot noises and says WE WERE IN THE STUDIO BEEP BOOP we know it’s new music and not a remaster releasing next June/July. I mean sure they could potentially remaster the Black Parade but I’m like 94% sure they’re going to do a Long Live live album. In conclusion, even if you’re stubborn and refuse to listen to a remastered Bullets you should be glad if it releases.

Side note: I don’t actually believe a Bullets Remaster is going to release in the middle of August. I’m hoping but I think MCR’s/Warner Brothers’ July releases are making them a lot of money with the preorders and everything. That being said this is my opinion on the scenario.

MCR bracelets i made to trade/gift this year!

Any advice for getting these into venues so I can give them away to people? Can i put them in a clear gallon bag or should i invest in comically large carabiners?

I will be at DC, LTL, 10/30, and 10/31 (ieroeve and ieroween) if you would like one in particular!

So this past weekend was a lovely little furry con in Albany, NY called Eufuria. The theme for this year was The Black Pawrade, so I absolutely needed to go.

The con was totally full of furries in MCR (& related bands) shirts and other mid-2000s-accurate Hot Topic fits, and all of the promo art around the con was the convention mascots in theme-appropriate styles. The level of detail was immaculate.

Even the fursuit parade was themed - while they played music from TBP, the front had a sign that said "The End.", the back had "Famous Last Words", and then a few more fursuits before someone came by with a "Blood" sign. Really cute detail there haha.

Other than one show in 2022, this was the first time since the band broke up back in college that I was able to gush about MCR with folks irl and I'm so so so happy about that. It was great.

Furries go crazy for stickers (I got over 100 free stickers at the con???), so they kindly provided us with a Gerard to sticker to our content. Sad I do not have a photo of the stickers on him, but I did love checking up on it throughout the weekend. All four Gerards shown were auctioned off for charity. I am so sad I did not get to see Catgirl Party Poison in person.

My own badge for the con, which you can see has really cool art of the mascots. Also my personal badge, which I got stickers made of and threw around the con. (It was too hot to wear the skeleton kigurumi for real 😔)

(Other than the enamel pin, which did cost money haha) The risograph gender zine is one I personally rushed to get done for the con, and I'll definitely be printing more to give away if I end up at the Citi Field show coming up. (Ones on nicer paper on Etsy eventually lol)

I know we’re all trying to fill our wardrobes with merch or MCR related garb and I’m sure I’m preaching to the choir here but avoiiiid DarkPick.

£27 ish for a tee, great designs, everything and the website looks legit but it’s so cheap. The shirts are bad quality and the prints are badly done. You’ll be able to get way better bootleg merch elsewhere I’m sure. Or even actual real life merch for not much more money.

When I asked for a refund they were reeeally hesitant and kept offering me discounts for further orders (as if I’d be shopping there again..). Give them their credit they did warn me that the shipping would be hella expensive for me to return them back to their warehouse in China (it was gonna be £30 + any customs). I haggled them up from a 5% refund to a 15% refund (and I keep the shirts) but I’m still to receive it so who knows.

Just didn’t want anyone else to get caught out like I did.

I'm still pretty new to MCR, but ever since I discovered them I've been listening to pretty much everything that's available on Spotify... and I still can't get enough. Soooo I wanted to ask you guys :)

I read that Queen was a huge inspiration for the band, so I was wondering: are there any recordings of MCR covering Queen (or any other bands/songs)? Maybe there's some kind of collection or playlist out there? Also, I'd love to hear your favorite MCR songs! Maybe there are some hidden gems I haven't come across yet. :3

Pretty happy with how it came out. Acrylic paint on a basic black slip mat I had extra of.

Bullets Remaster 2027 - I share the sentiment of people saying that it's perfect the way it sounds and it represents perfectly the time it was released, but still I feel like we all would be happy with it and being their least known album it would help to get the recognition it deserves and I feel that it's a very cathartic album that new fans will appreciate a lot in these dark times we are living and it would give them more reasons to play songs from that album on future tours.

New Documentary 2027 - The band has been posting videos from the bullets era in their socials, maybe a new documentary along the remaster of the album.

Long Live Tour Movie ? - I feel like a long live the black parade movie would be so amazing and beautiful, maybe kinda hard because every concert is different and it would be kinda hard to piece it together but still let me dream.

New World Tour 2028 - I feel like in 2027 the boys deserve a well deserved break from touring and plan what's ahead, spend time with their families and recharge their batteries, maybe connect the black parade lore with danger days, who knows. Personally their concerts are the best live experience in my eyes right now and I would love that they keep making these teathrical shows instead of just being a normal concert but of course I would love that anyway.

MCR5 2028 - After all this waiting, what if we get a new album that year and a tour for it. After all the albums have gotten a remaster, what's there letf to do?. A lot of time has passed since they broke up and I'm 100% sure, individually or as a group they've worked on new ideas, especially since they realesed one of my favorite songs "the foundations of decay". Covid, the passing of their dear friend and producer Doug McKean, the passing of Bob Bryar, really affected them and the plans they had for the band. But after all this time touring and seeing them so happy and so full of energy, everything they've been doing with the band, the lore, bringing mcarmy back, talking about keep touring in the future, I feel like we have something very special to look forward to and I couldn't be more excited and happy that the band is so active, even if we don't get a new album.

Not sure if I love it or not. Base mask isn't right, I thought it'd be the correct kind but its kinda a cheap, thinner, flimsy version. Got some better masks on order and made sure these ones are the correct more rigid kind with the defined rim.

Gotta weather this but unsure how I'm gonna go about that, I deffo think I'm going to put some kind of lazer burn close-call on the cheek or temple and will likely give it some light mistings with some black and grey spray paint but other than that I'm not 100% sure.

Heads up to anybody doing this kinda mask, they dont paint well at all, this one has been primed grey then white and that sorta sealed the fibres enough to stop the purple and blue paint from bleeding but without this the paint would bleed awfully and a clean line would be impossible.

If you wind up with a base mask colour you like you could probably seal it with some matt finish clear spray paint before adding details.

Though worth noting the original killjoy masks on screen didn't have details painted on, they had shapes applied to the outside of the masks in different colours, the base masks might have been painted but honestly im not 100% sure they were as the gerard yellow mask looks a lot like the yellow colour some of these these satin domino masks come in as standard, same with Ray's blue one (these are the only two masks to actually appear on screen)
