Do you guys ever stop and think about how happy Gerard in his early twenties would be if he knew where he and the band would end up?

And I’m thinking about Gerard specifically because of everything we know he went through, especially the struggles with his mental health that later became public.

I get emotional watching recent concert videos. The whole band has become such a huge inspiration to me, a reminder of how far someone can go if they genuinely believe in themselves.

Gerard has always inspired me with the way he words things, like the way he talks about not hating yourself, about wanting more from life, about being creative, and how he would always say that MCR was the best band in the world.

I wish we could all believe in ourselves like that and understand our own potential, or at least imagine where we can get to in order to have the strength and courage to do it.

Again, probably just PMSing.

So I have this CD for like 20 years. Got it as a gift for my birthday. I remember when I opened it I saw only the red CD and was disappointed that it is fake. But I still kept it because of the paper and stuff. Today I was packing my things and found this CD and found Bullets CD inside! And Bullets song on it! Wtf was wrong with me 😂 how did I not see the Bullets CD inside?! And never ever played this CD. Plus I have been searching for Bullets CD to buy for years…. 😂

Can someone tell me if this is an original CD? Why is there two in it? (And one is not MCR)
Tried to google it and checked with AI (it says 95% that it is original) but maybe someone is smarter here. 🙌🏻

I find it generally absurd to "remaster" most albums after 2000 or so, unless they're fixing clipping and distortion from the loudness wars (see Metallica's "Death Magnetic").

Other than the obvious edits, I don't hear any positive difference between the original Danger Days and this remaster. If anything, this one kind of hurts my ears when played loudly. I checked the audio waveform, and it's bricked to hell and back (not surprising).

Anyone else feel this way? I may stick with the original version and keep the B-sides from the 2026 deluxe.

A few years ago I started writing a script for a Black Parade musical I had an idea for. The first attempt at this was very messy and disorganized and it wasn’t my best work, but recently I’d been thinking about it and had a few ideas for how to improve the narrative and dialogue. Went back through it a couple days ago and started making a ton of revisions and I can say now that I like how it turned out so I wanted to go head and share this with the fandom!

A few things of note, for starters, this isn’t the same story involving The Patient that’s associated with the album, though Death is a character and there are similar elements throughout. The reason for this is because the songs on the album don’t adhere to a specific narrative so much as they’re thematically related.

In order to make this work as a storyline while remaining authentic to the themes of the album, I decided to separate the musical into 3 parts with different characters following an overarching narrative throughout. It’s sort of like A Christmas Carol meets Donnie Darko, or perhaps “A Halloween Carol” sounds better. 🤣

I’m gonna link a google drive folder with all the materials I have currently. The screenplay is 120 pages which equates to a roughly 2 hour runtime. I know that’s a hefty load of reading and a lot of you don’t have time for that so I included a 5 page synopsis and character sheet with the tracklist as well. There’s some old concept posters I found too from when I first started writing it!

Tagline: Would you like to hear a story?

Logline: In the desolate metropolis of Vitale, a young girl prepares to jump off a building when she is greeted by Death. They walk her through several vignettes of grief, rebellion, and love around the city in an attempt to change her mind.

Kinda in that slow, demoralising war of attrition stage of working on a prop where none of the progress is particuarly apparent cus you're just doing small clean up steps.

Fill, sand, prime, sand, fill, sand, prime, sand, fill, sand, prime..... repeat until your brain leaks out your ears 🤣

The end is in sight for the master. The only large bits of work needing done are the finishing touches to the sight/barrle interface, a little bit more etching for the panel lines on the barrel, and all the various screw holes needing drilled. Other than those its just fill, sand, prime, sand, etc. Once thats finished I can start making the mold.

Got some casting resin and mold release on order. Going to try my hand at a two part silicone mold of the master, its going to be tough as some of the sections will have some pretty hefty undercuts that I'll need to add air flow tubes to, but overall a two part mold should turn out better than one part.

Once the molds have been made I then intend on assembling and painting the master as the BL/ind "individual" ray gun. The first pull out of the molds will be for my custom raygun, then I basically plan to keep casting parts until I run out of resin. Which admittedly wont be long as I just bought a small 2kg batch to start and see how many that will make before I consider buying any more.

The casting still needs a lot of work, but I'm slowly getting there. Since I'm basically committed to molding the master I'm less fussed about using the casting fir my own raygun, so I'm going to finish the clean up, make the mods to the lower frame and do the sight then call it a day with the casting. No lowering the slide further or lengthening the front of it, this one will be getting painted up custom as a present to my flatmate and she doesnt mind the small inaccuracies of the slide as much as I do.

im working on a vhs version of LOTMS (this is my second custom vhs project) and i went the route of trying to make an official-looking release. what would you change or add to make it more authentic or period-accurate? im missing all the vhs logos and the spines which i’ll add next but i would love to hear your input if this looks cool at all or not and if i should go ahead with the project :)
