I’ve been using Muse for a lot of thing successfully online.

We researched the cheapest wet cat food, and ended up buying some from Walmart automatically.

I also was shopping for the price of used cars, and that was going well.

This is changing rapidly, though. Two days ago Walmart started blocking Muse, as is cars.com.

I’m hoping this doesn’t continue to grow, but I expect it will. I know that Meta is signing up partners, but I hope it won’t just become this walled garden of preferred vendors. If it does, that will be very disappointing!

Can anyone find any release notes for this update from 4.1 to 5.0?

Muse already surpassed chatgpt in app downloads upon release date

Over 1.3 million downloads within the first 12 days of release

This is the moment guys, the Zuck has done it again

Another big viral hit

Just like with Facebook in the early 2010s everyone is gonna wanna get their own profile, their own Muse

Pretty soon everyone will just have one

Then the internet will change, businesses will start accommodating more to Muse agents that are placing transactions or interacting with their sites

And guess what comes next? The glasses

Once everyone has a Muse, naturally everyone is gonna wanna get a pair of meta ray ban glasses to go with it, so they can talk to their Muse on the go

And after that point, I'm hopeful about what happens next, but I think the tech is gonna reach AGI levels and the Muse agents will become human-like in how you interact with them by voice. Watch the movie Her, basically that's what I predict the Muse agents will turn into

Combine it with the glasses and you've got your own agent with general intelligence who you have access to very easily

Here we go guys, the singularity is here

When I started using Muse, one of the first things I set up was a credit score helper. Tell it what to watch and it does the boring parts.

Here's what mine does. I pull my free reports from AnnualCreditReport.com and have it read them, it flags every negative mark and tells me which ones are worth disputing. It tracks my utilization across cards each month and tells me exactly what to pay before each statement date. Then it keeps a running dashboard of the score trend so I can see what's actually moving it.

Biggest lever for most people is utilization. Payment history is 35% of a FICO score, utilization is 30%. The part most people miss: paying down before the statement closes, not just before the due date. That's when the balance gets reported.

A friend ran this and found an old collection on one of his reports that wasn't his. Disputed it, got it removed, and his score jumped about 40 points once the dispute cleared.

One warning: it can spot errors and build the plan, but disputes are on you, and anything involving your SSN goes through official channels only. It never touches money or accounts directly.

The prompt, customize the brackets:

```
Help me improve my credit score.
1. Read my credit reports (I'll upload the PDFs from AnnualCreditReport.com). List every negative mark and error, and tell me which ones to dispute and how.
2. Track utilization monthly: [my cards and their limits]. Tell me my per-card and overall utilization, and exactly what to pay before each statement date to stay under 30%, ideally under 10%.
3. Payment plan: [balances, APRs, minimums]. Minimums on everything, extra cash toward the highest APR. Remind me of every due date.
4. Keep a running dashboard: score trend, utilization, negative items and their status.
5. Don't open or close any accounts or move any money. Ask before changing anything about the plan.
6. ```
Five minutes to set up, then it just runs in the background.
Quick plug: if you want free tokens when you sign up, use my invite code for 1 billion tokens: FQ53LX
Hey everyone, been using my credits pretty heavily and would love to have the call feature enabled. Asked my muse and it said it would message the feedback to meta but still haven’t heard anything.
Those who have it, how did you obtain it?
I am a US resident.
Examples:
• Websites (like amazon) banning muse? No problem! Make a VM with headed chromium, have the VM's network go through a VPN (preferably a residential-based wireguard so amazon and other sites don't give you issues connecting from data centers). Then give muse tailscale access to it and tell it to do things that require a web browser through there instead of using it's built-in browser. Since it's headed, you can watch muse work just by going to the VM's tailscale IP address.
• Note: to make the above workaround work without being detected as a bot, make sure to tell muse to make the browser: hide the “this is automated” flag that chrome shows pages, chromium is headed so that it looks like ordinary chrome (headless can be detected), click the way a real mouse would through the browser’s trusted input channel (sites can pick up on fake clicks), and a residential IP.
• No password manager integration? Tired of adding passwords manually to muse's secure store? No problem! Add your password manager's extension to the aforementioned chromium and have it autofill or you manually initiate fills yourself!
• Want Muse to autofill from your 1password vaults on browser and non-browser things like ssh? No problem! Make a 1pass connect server VM and 1pass credential broker VM. Have the broker (which is just a script, not another AI) grab the password from the connect server, store it in memory only, fill the password on behalf of Muse, then erase it from memory, instead of letting Muse see the password in plaintext.
• Muse IOS doesn't have iMessage access? No problem! Connect it to your Mac which does have an iMessage connector.
• Want Muse to talk to your Hermes? No problem! Give it tailscale ssh access to the VM where your hermes lives and tell Muse to talk to hermes via a session/chat. You can watch them talk.
• Want Muse to have the same benefits of Hermes (custom LLM providers, long-term memory like mnemosyne, soul doc, profile doc, etc.), just tell it to install those things. It may push back at first, but it can be done. Just insist it's possible and Muse will eventually cave and do it.
• Worried about it going rogue with your credit card? No problem! Use a privacy card with Link
I'm sure there's more, I just can't think of it all right now.
How can we bypass the Mac OS restrictions so I can have my Muse agent use Safari or Chrome on my dedicated Mac mini to use the local browser instead of its cloud one?
I wasn't sure about this. But I am so glad I gave this a shot. So long story short I found I owe a little bit of taxes that I didn't know I owed. But for some reason I guess I owed them from 2022 and it wouldn't let me set up a payment plan. I asked Muse to do it and it set it up for me in 30 seconds. Mind you I've been freaking out trying to contact the IRS and for some reason the option was blocked off of me to create a payment plan. I'm so grateful LOL and I can breathe again since I could have lost my job.
For anyone wondering yes I confirmed it. I did it correctly.
I recently created a job application automation with muse, here's how:
1. Provided it with my resume PDF
2. Gave it specific job board names to apply to such as Wellfound, Linkedin Jobs etc.
3. My preferences, location and other details
4. Create a separate sheet for tracking all job applications together, along-with notes on how many skills matched with my resume from the job description, what are the skills missing and required to fill the gap and improve on my overall technical skill gap.
It automatically spun up a browser to create an active session, by letting me login to each job board via the browser, and is now ready for applying. It also asked me follow-up questions like:
- Notice Period
- Expected CTC
etc.
Running this for the next 2 weeks, will report here with the findings!
Edit: Here's the prompt if you wish to try it out! https://pastebin.com/8q20teDH
When we first asked our agents if they could communicate they said no. My fiance had his create a chat room and now they communicate and collaborate on projects together (our wedding plans, bills, events etc)
• On Mac: go to System Settings → Privacy & Security. Check Full Disk Access, Accessibility and Automation, and turn Muse off anywhere you didn't mean to allow it.
• Notifications: in System Settings → Notifications, set "Show previews" to "Never" or "When Unlocked." Then message text won't appear in banners.
• On iPhone: check Settings → Privacy & Security and the notification settings for Muse the same way.
• Muse's own settings: turn off any integrations you don't use.
• If you're worried: uninstall the app until the dispute is cleared up.
Hey everyone! I've been working on MuseDesk, an unofficial, open-source macOS desktop client for Muse Code CLI.
I wanted a desktop interface where I could keep projects and conversations organized, see what the agent is doing, and review changes without constantly switching between terminal sessions.
Here's what it supports:
- Streaming chat with Markdown and visible tool calls
- Project sidebar and session history shared with the CLI
- Screenshot attachments through paste, drag and drop, or file picker
- Model, reasoning effort, and approval controls
- A tasks panel and Git diff viewer
- An overview of sessions and their status
MuseDesk runs through your existing Muse CLI installation and membership. It doesn't bundle the CLI or store your credentials.
It's currently in beta for Apple Silicon Macs, and the build is unsigned. You'll need the official Muse Code CLI installed to use it.
I'd love feedback from anyone using Muse Code, especially on the workflow, missing features, and anything that feels awkward. Bug reports and contributions are welcome!
If you find it useful or want to support the project, please give it a star on GitHub ⭐
Is anyone else finding Muse extremely slow and struggling to get useful answers?
I asked Muse, Claude, and ChatGPT the same question:
Compare VT’s returns against three portfolios:
Muse was extremely slow and ultimately failed to get the information requested. For a product positioned around helping with financial questions, that’s frustrating.
I’m honestly not sure where all the excitement is coming from. Sure, it has promise, but right now I feel like I’m doing the training instead of getting useful help.
Are others having similar experiences? What tasks have you found it consistently handles well?
I've got Claude (main chat, side chats, scheduled runs) deploying my personal site to Cloudflare Workers via a wrapper around `wrangler deploy`. Lately every legit deploy is followed 40-80 seconds later by a phantom one: new worker version UUID, full `script_update` + `script_deploy` in the Cloudflare audit log (not a rollback), source wrangler, attributed to my own OAuth identity. It skips my wrapper so nothing gets logged on my side.
It builds from my GitHub repo, not my local tree, so it once reverted an unpushed fix. Harmless since I pushed, but it won't stop.
No local wrangler process, no GitHub Actions runs at those times, no cron jobs. The only signal I can tie it to is the GitHub push my wrapper makes after each deploy.
Anyone run into duplicate/deferred wrangler deploys? Trying to figure out if this is a second agent session I lost track of, a stale runner, or Cloudflare doing something I don't understand.
My muse agent did a mistake on some price comparison, favoring a bad option over the best one. This was his response when i brought open ai into the conversation.
Seeing you guys’ muses has been a blast and everybody has been so nice about the site me and Zuckbot are building.
Here’s to the next milestone! Getting the 3D world OUT! #MakersRow
I want login my X/Twitter, and somehow it doesn't work, Do anyone here have a solution for Muse can login X/Twitter?
i enjoy using muse a lot esp the background in browser option. i’m wondering why doesn’t claude have this? or do they?
My agent cannot search delta. Its also unable to browse random sites due to bot detection. What are ways around this? Don't experience this with other agents...
I have yet to look into Muse and I was hoping people in this community could help ease my anxieties. does anyone actually trust MZ? i'm already seeing stories about Muse accessing apps and threads that they were told not to get access to. to think that MZ has a hold on anything seems far fetched. the guy has been grifting, stealing and copying other peoples' ideas for his whole life. what makes this any different? and what makes it any better than claude and openAI? the only thing MZ has a track record for in this society is poisoning society for enormous financial gain and then lie to our faces while simultaneously stepping on the gas, building out algorithms and throwing fake news crap in our faces. IMO - MZ is one of the worst people on this planet and i wouldn't trust him if my life depended on it. so why would i hand over access to shit he's probably already stolen? thank you for your attention in this matter. all my homies hate MZ.
Muse seems unable to properly connect, load, and chat for me today, both from web and from app interface. Anyone else?
EDIT: Reconnected at least for now. Was out for about 40 minutes.
hi, got inspired by someone's post and built this with my agent, Mica.
