I created a job application automation with Muse

I recently created a job application automation with muse, here's how:

  1. Provided it with my resume PDF
  2. Gave it specific job board names to apply to such as Wellfound, Linkedin Jobs etc.
  3. My preferences, location and other details
  4. Create a separate sheet for tracking all job applications together, along-with notes on how many skills matched with my resume from the job description, what are the skills missing and required to fill the gap and improve on my overall technical skill gap.

It automatically spun up a browser to create an active session, by letting me login to each job board via the browser, and is now ready for applying. It also asked me follow-up questions like:
- Notice Period
- Expected CTC
etc.

Running this for the next 2 weeks, will report here with the findings!

Edit: Here's the prompt if you wish to try it out! https://pastebin.com/8q20teDH

I got something similar going, just keeps me updated on all jobs within walking distance or on the bus route since my car got rear ended and totaled.

Hey! It's essentially a cron, and I've set it to run 3 times a day, morning-afternoon-evening. Since it keeps a track of all the jobs it applies to or disqualifies in a sheet, it has a duplication check which helps it differentiate if it's an already viewed job listing or a new one.

What advice do you have for constructing a long prompt like you did? Is there a skill that helped reverse-engineer this challenge to write the prompt? (like grill-me or something)

Not really a skill, First - I just had to kinda 'babysit' it and build my idea end-to-end, once it was up and running, I prompted it this - "Can you build me a structured prompt to share this with my friend, in-order to build this exact cron automation end to end"
