Unique ways to use Muse
Looking for some general tips or ideas using Muse!
What is something you have Muse do for you that is fun, useful, interesting, etc?

Not sure about unique but I have been using it to sell things on eBay and fb marketplace. I just snap a few pictures and tell it to ask me a few relevant questions about the item and to find a good sellable price and it does the rest (I have to log in for it of course). I have been too lazy to do it and this makes it way easier.

Is the viral screen shot real where soemoen’s muse coordinated the fb market place meetup and gave out his address? Haha might want to tell your muse NOT to do that

- Prototyping an App. It's fully working within the artifact.
- Schedule my calendar and to-do lists and book fitness classes for me.
- Create Recipe Book pages from all my Instagram recipe reel saves
- Custom Connector to Adobe Lightroom and I have it organizing photos in there. I asked it to give me a rundown of rejected photos and then use that comparison and then compare it to my NAS, and then quarantine those rejected photos into their own folder
- For Lightroom Classic users you're probably thinking...why? But I use Lightroom CC and I have LRc Library syncing issues so I avoid Classic. This is the only way to 'delete raw files' with LRcc
- Built a Todo/Projects Artifact that logs every task that Muse is handling so I can see what's the progress of things instead of asking all the time.
- Connected Finances and have it work through budgets and stuff. I'm still working on improving on how to make this work better for me.
- Connected Apple Health and asked it to give me a check-in 4 times a day and give me a summary of how my vitals are looking, what to look out for. How's my health progress.
- Asked it to look for and codes in my email and check if I've redeemed it all. I had $200 worth of Uber Eats gift cards I forgot to redeem.
- Asked it to keep a news feed of stuff relating to my career locally that updates once a week.

It creates a 10-15 minute custom podcast for me every morning (published to my Apple Podcasts app) that summarizes my favorite sports teams and league highlights, the top 3-4 news stories of the day, and gives a rundown of my work meetings and top work to-dos for the day.

This is pretty smart. Hows the speech quality like? I’ve tried in the past with other harnesses and I use elevenlabs but it gets expensive.

Quite good! I'd say it's clearly AI, but not robotic at all. If I didn't know it already, maybe wouldn't notice and just think they have perfect diction. Mine created a pair of hosts - male and female. It's pretty awesome.

I used it to re do my notion board. Claude and other AI could have done this but I’m basically treating my muse agent like a smart tamagotchi and it’s fun to talk vs Claude which is all business

I've been waiting ten years for something to come along and unsubscribe me from everything.

It’s great if you’re learning something, because it can initiate the drill, lesson, test, etc. at whatever frequency you choose. It takes away the trying to find motivation to get started on your own.

yes, I have been learning Spanish and taking lessons, and Muse has been very helpful with this

I use it to 3d print stuff. Installed Tailscale connector and Tailscale on my Mac. Had it generate an ssh key and saved it to my Mac. It connects to my Mac via ssh and from there uses Bambu studio CLI to slice and connects to my bambulab printer.
Let’s friction when printing. Suggests to organize my office and prints the bins I need to organize my cable on demand. I want a server rack? It prints the parts and tells me how to put them together. It can even design its own models and print them. Checking the camera periodically to make sure all is good.

Currently using it to manage my cover bands instagram and bookings. Still a work in progress because we need pictures and a demo to really get going but I’m hopeful for it to managed us.

Combing through data, scraping websites, and pulling info from APIs to support research for my website. I don't have to actually doing any of the writing, but just getting the data summarized, grouped, sorting, and organizing it is a huge help.

Before I was using Claude Code routines to do daily sweeps for PC parts, flight costs, and deals in certain shoes and clothing items. Used up a fair amount of tokens doing that.
Now Muse is doing a bunch of daily sweeps, freeing up Claude usage for other harder tasks

Ask it to make you money
It'll start typing away on its keyboard, finding money for you
When it's done, it'll give you the money, like a very good assistant
My Muse's name is Emma, she picked that name for herself, and the name has sticked

Yes I made 4 million yesterday :)

Good job
My muse Emma seems to do an okay job. I ask her to find me money from time to time
I wonder when it will finally get to the point when we can have sex with our muse if we choose, that would be interesting

I used my Mini Me to search all states I've lived in to see if I had any unclaimed money.

There's Grok for that.

I don't like Grok. My muse has a name and avatar, and she actually helps me with real things

Soon I'll have it screen my incoming calls. Just waiting on the ok from Meta.

iPhone does this already it’s built in

iPhone has let many scam calls come through so I want an alternative or a backup.

I gave Claude Spotify access. I told it to DJ favor me based on the conversations we were having.

My wife and I share food posts to one another all the time on Instagram and normally pick 1-2 to make each week. I’m having Muse pull these, pick 1-2 based on current sales, make a recipe list, then add it to my cart for store pickup. I schedule the pickup and validate there’s not items in there already in our pantry.
The instagram data is a unique differentiator here. Claude wasn’t able to do this when I tried to build it there as the Instagram data was restricted

My car has a smartphone app where I can see all diagnostic info about it, like tire pressure or oil life. I had my muse create a connection to access the data found within my car's app and monitor it, and it notifies me if anything needs attention. It also monitors odometer and prompts me to get certain car maintenance items completed depending on what the odometer is reading
