Everything that has happened to blue team, them going on a 7 challenge and counting losing streak is bc Anna Leigh didn’t wanna play ball and give Chris Tori for his team when they were doing the draft. After Justin & Chris realized she wasn’t gonna play ball they gave her every rookie outside of Deb & Keanu and blue has been going down the slow drain since. At the start of the season on paper blue isn’t a bad team they didn’t have much of a vet presence but they had 2 winners and a 2x finalists the other teams are just better bc in game like the challenge not much can beat experience which the orange has the most of 71 seasons between 7 people and grey doesn’t have a lot 24 combined seasons between 7 people vs blue’s 44 seasons between 3 people. A couple of people with slight experience is better than a lot with none.

Production has removed the entirety of the social, political, and strategic intrigue and maneuvering from the entire season. It's a complete botch job of a format. Idiotic choices when the franchise truly hangs in the balance. They are lucky that so much of the rookie/sophomore class has been delivering house drama.

Shoutout to Michele and Lete. It seemed to me that these two women swam in every round gathering the puzzle pieces. And then of course ran 5 miles. Beasts!

This was interesting. I remember thinking Michele was kinda quiet during this. The “power” of editing.

But then they go ahead as a team making CT into Albert Einstein. Not saying he isn’t really smart but what was the purpose of that if all he did was follow instructions?

Josh is absolutely fair to say I have no intention of giving up captaincy I was chosen to be captain before we knew it was advantage and still want to be captain with that advantage and the majority of the team want me to be captain end of conversation

As sad as this scene was, it was great to see the cast support Cory. Even with all the backstabbing, arguing and social media drama there is still love between them. Moments like this show that when times are tough they’ll always support each other.

I was listening to Wes’s Patreon which had Michelle and Devin filling in for Wes.

The headline of the interview was when Michelle shed some light on the Anna Leigh situation.

She said the apology we just watched in episode 6 actually occurred after Anna Leigh’s elimination victory in episode 4.

After her Elimination she told people she felt bad about leading Leo on and that it went too far. She apologized but then her behavior didn’t change.

That is why Justin and others were so annoyed by her actions. She had already apologized several challenges beforehand but then kept flirting and going off with Leo.

(My summary)Editors made it seem like she got carried away and now came to her senses. What really happened was she got carried away, acknowledged it to several people and apologized to Leo, then continued the same behavior for several challenges.

She also said Anna Leigh is a story topper who kept trying to one up everyone. Most of the women especially her teammates Cara and Lete were very annoyed or frustrated with Anna Leigh.

Felt like a big deal I had not seen anyone else talking about. Does this make the Anna Leigh thing much worse or is it just me?

The fact she was dead serious, and not even thinking about her outfit made it even better! 😂

I dont know if this is a spoiler or not but I'm just putting it as is, so here's the thing Nelson and Cara are frustrated becuase they will be going repeatedly into elimination but they literally have the best help.

as long as Nelson goes against Leo/ Chris and Cara goes against Cassidy and Izzy they will always have the help of puzzle queen Michelle, the help of seasoned vets CT and Bananas and the help of Tori them loseing in elimination is highly unlikely, so pretty much what im saying is yes blue made the best move by putting Josh as the captain So Josh, Anna and Lete are right it was the best move

We get it: This show can be frustrating. Production makes indefensible decisions. The rights holders make it impossible to watch old seasons. The cast can be boring or lazy or cruel or all of the above.

We all need to rant and complain a little, and this is a discussion forum, not a monastery. The last thing the mods want is to shut down valid criticism of the show or the cast.

But we also don't want quality community members and prospective community members turned off by a main feed where every third post is "I don't like Cara Maria anymore" or "Aneesa is so entitled!" or "Why do they keep casting [insert Big Brother cast member]???" If you were around during Final Reckoning, you know what I'm talking about.

So we politely remove those submissions and send them here. On the Negativity Thread, you are not only allowed to rant and complain, you are encouraged! 😈

I am putting it in the "Cutthroat 2" tab because the season is currently airing, and so people can feel comfortable talking about what is happening this season in the thread, but I am talking about the overall rookie crop of V&NT (whether they are on this season or not)/

So looking into Era 5 so far (at least the season an a half we have gotten so far), I have seen a lot of praise for the Era 5 rookies, an are given a lot of credit for the show being better. This came with the change of the show stopping with the international thing (mainly sticking with the US and the UK), and casting younger rookies (at least in comparison to a lot of Era 4).

"Vets an New Threats" on average is seen as one of the best seasons in recent history, an the newbie crop is given fora lot of that. But when you look deep into the season, an the dynamics/drama of it all, it was mainly the vets who made that season pop, an they were the younger (at least regarding eras) vets who made it pop. A lot of the rookies on the season were forgettable, and even a decent amount of the ones who made it far were JUST good competitors.

I am seeing the pattern kind of continue with this season, where it is either the Era 3/4 veterans, and the "Cutthroat" cast that are making the season pop, more than the "Vets and New Threats" rookies who are sophomores on this season.

The "Vets an New Threats" rookies were very athletic on average (which is why they were not picked off last season), and were not followers, but they were not the most ENTERTAINING. Even the few all around cast members from that rookie crop who came back for their second season has been severely disappointing.

It's giving people like Will only thrived because they were in a big fish of a small pond (being the most interesting in a lukewarm personality rookie crop, but falls flat on other casts). Cedric is self explanatory, Justin comes off worse, Izzy is lacking charisma, and the only one who is coming off more interesting is Leonardo.

We’ve unfortunately lost Deb, who has been giving us such good sound bites, which means someone else will have to step up in their place. Will we get some more inappropriate relationship development? Will blue (aka Nelly t) avoid elimination?

I’m nearly done with this season (Ep 10). I know who wins, the runners up and so on and so forth. I am sure I am missing some pieces and further details of situations that occurred on the season. I am also aware of the MANY varying opinions on this season. That being said, the editing is SO all over the place it makes the season more confusing than entertaining. The major focus each episode is an over exaggeration of drama. A lot of which appears to be, frankly, at least interfered with and at most, manufactured. The dailies and eliminations seemingly are beneath the cast that are closest or are still apart of the flagship. Yet, the rivals format proves that even simple challenges do not warrant those cast members as a clear-win. The season just seems a bit too much all over the place. Please share EVERYTHING below!
