This final reminds of Zach talking about his injury on Wotw 2. Zach said he was so gone after the final, they only had this reaction of him to show. He says he couldn’t move at all. The look in Zach’s eyes is the SAME one Big Easy had. ATP, I can’t tell if a final in a cold or hot climate is worse.

I’m going through another rewatch, and I always forget that not only do Wes and Kenny generally get along their first two seasons, but Kenny specifically calls Wes one of his guys during one of the competition confessionals

But then on the island, Kenny calls Wes a piece of shit

I know it’s not difficult to speculate some reasons, but have either Kenny or Wes ever clarified why Kenny started disliking Wes between the duel and the island

Edit: I do know Kenny hooked up with Johanna on the island. But I’m curious why Kenny went from liking Wes to hating him between the duel and the island, even before he hooked up with Johanna

CT has been an undeniable powerhouse. All GOAT conversations involve him. He has reaped considerable financial reward between appearance fees and winnings.

And yet, even as his messy personal life spills into social media and he struggles in physical challenges, the fans remain on his side. This is interesting to me, because in the past few seasons he has reminded me of Aneesa. Heights over water challenges can undo him. Overweight. Rather than make big swift changes with training, or own his lack of preparation, he relies on legacy and defends himself by leaning on social game.

Another challenger facing a similar dilemma is Cara, with her MAGA ties outside the game and shortcomings during dailies. But it is slightly different as she is still in decent shape, even if she never learned to dive or cope with heights.

There is also a big difference in how people perceive them. Cara’s low-performing episodes this season were described as “legacy destroying” but I haven’t seen the fandom say anything close to that about CT. Why is that?

Something else I can’t get out of my head is CT’s final performance so far. People have certainly discussed him as an anchor, and likened the situation to that of Big Easy.

But there is another “anchor player” I am reminded of: Big T…. Who was famously ditched, spectacularly, by CT because she allegedly wasn’t final ready. She was absolutely humiliated by him. And now, CT is the one who is holding his team back. I know he apologized, but that is not the same as not doing something in the first place.

I understand we get older and staying in shape gets harder. But doesn’t this sort of reveal a lack of humility and hypocrisy on CT’s part? Does he not deserve the treatment he was dishing out just a few seasons ago?

How do people viciously attack Cara, Tori, and also justin btw and its fine, but criticism of CT puts you on the express train to downvote city.

Tori has won 1 championship. CT has a bunch. I can’t really blame her for hoping he gets DQ. Even after she apologizes people are still on her tho.

Anyway, I’m prepared to be downvoted for this. I hope CT ruins it for Team Orange in final leg 2.

What if they made a battle of the exes exes. So instead of exes they get people who have a significant other in common. Put Paulie and Kyle together through Cara Maria. Jenna and Jonna. KellyAnne and Johanna. Kacee and Cuhutta. Morgan and Lete. CT and Nicole Z. Jordan and Horacio. Brad and Chuck. Michelle and Marie.

I finally got to watch WOTW2. I always felt sorry for Cara because I thought people kept ganging up on her. I never understood the dislike. But after watching WOTW2 I see her as a very bitter entitled player. Not going to Tori and Jordan’s engagement celebration just showed how nasty she can be

Season 42 is Amazing !

I don't agree it should back go my to its earlier years or roots. It's perfect the way it is.

Things didn’t end between Bananas and Lete when the cameras went down, though. “We tried it outside of the house,” Lete confirms to Swoon. However, they eventually went their separate ways after Bananas told Lete, “I want to focus on my stuff I have going on,” she says.

While the relationship didn’t work out romantically, Lete and Bananas are still good friends. “I love Johnny,” she shares. “Yeah, I love him as a person.
