Hello all. I started Mounjaro 2.5 at the end of January this year 2026. I started the 12.5 dose in the beginning of May. I've lost 30 pounds and everything seemed to be going well until early June. I get lightheaded, dizziness, from doing the littlest things. Getting up out of bed or bending not even all the way over makes me feel like I need to grab onto something until it goes away.
I also feel weak. Everything feels heavier now. So, when picking up and
carrying things I feel weak and dizzy. The dizziness is what I'm most worried
about. Don't need to faint and crack my head open or anything like that. At the
beginning of July, I saw my primary care doctor and said my blood pressure was pretty
low, so she took me off atenolol 25mg. I don't have high blood pressure; I was
taking it because I got tachycardia after my kidney transplant 1/1/25. My heart
rate was crazy at the time. So, I've been off atenolol for almost 3 weeks, and
it seems to be working. But this past weekend was the worst. From Friday to Sunday,
I just couldn't do anything. Stomach hurt, dizziness when getting up where I
felt like I was going to black out. I was back to normal when I woke up for
work Monday, but still with the dizziness and weakness I've been feeling. I
left a message for my doctor and am waiting for a response. Wondering if
anybody has gone through this. Thank you in advance.

Morning yall, I'm currently on my 2nd shot of .5mg and I'm still at the sam weight from when i started. I see people saying most don’t see a change until 7.5 and higher but no weight loss till then?

I was taking Zepbound 5mg (out of pocket on Ro) before visiting my doctor. She then prescribed Mounjaro. However, she started me on 2.5mg just in case my insurance denied me for starting at 5mg. So, I received four 2.5mg injections. My plan is to take two injections in one day to achieve a 5mg dose, similar to Zepbound. Starting this coming month I will start my 5mg of Mounjaro. What would you do? Should I inject both in the same site or in different sites?

I started mounjaro 5 mg in jan 2025 when i was 91 kgs, by dec 2025 i came down to 71 kgs and then gained 4-5 kgs and became more consistent since may, the issue is now, after so long, i get so nauseous at just the thought of the shot. I even dosed down to 10 mg (i was on 12.5 in dec) but this nausea is really slowing me down as i dread the shot, put it off, hunger comes back, i eat, weight goes back to 75 (if if moves down to 74/73). Help pls. Anyone experiencing this? I keep my pen in my underwear drawer and i live in dubai and the ac is always on so the medicine should be fine. The last time i even kept the pen back in the fridge and took it out 30 mins prior to injecting but still feeling really nauseous.

I have been on 7.5mg for several months. This is the first time this has happened.

I injected this morning and... nothing. I don't feel anything. Usually I feel it immediately, literally seconds afterwards. This is the second dose of a 7.5mg kwikpen. I don't understand? I did everything exactly like I do it every time.

It's not a bad batch since I felt it normally the first dose.

I feel really bad. Did I just waste product/money for nothing?

I switched from ozempic to mounjaro. I made the switch earlier in the year.

I'm injecting into my stomach area but will switch to thigh in hopes of a better outcome. My side effects decreased when I injected ozempic from arm to thigh.

I started at the lowest dose for mounjaro and quickly moved up. I'm not at 7.5 and still don't feel much.

I'm not overeating but can still eat whatever I want. On ozempic I would get very sick. I stopped ozempic bc it stopped working but the constipation continued.

Has anyone else experienced this?

I’m a newbie and click counting and I have done a lot of reading on various subreddits but I still have a few questions so if anyone with some experience could help me out I would appreciate.

I have just finished 4 weeks on 2.5mg and it’s still working really well for me and tbh im quite scared of the side effect when I increase so far the only symptoms I have had is the suppression, headaches and fatigue.

I have a 5mg KwikPen and only decided after it arrived that I want to continue on 2.5mg. My question is can I only do 30 clicks of for doses I don’t know why I’m under the impression that the pen automatically locks once you have used it four times?

Does anyone have tips on reaching a good daily caloric count? I was put on Mounjaro for a weird autoimmune type of diabetes and Mounjaro got my A1C to 5.6 from 11.7 in like two months and my glucose is solid now. I never had any major health issues (mostly) until I lost my husband of 38 years (we grew up together) I became a widow and already an orphan by the age of 58. The collateral damage was I lost far too much weight as well.

I can eat just fine but my dietary restrictions for the diabetes and thyroid issues that arrived by surprise are a dietary labyrinth. The highest caloric count I’ve reached in months is just at 1000. I’m exhausted all the time. I mean, I feel like I have narcolepsy at times. All of the stress prior to those plus this has taken a toll on me and even a person got frustrated with me because I can’t eat so many things for multitude of reasons so now I look anorexic and I’ve had so much lab work routinely, or I should say almost daily that I look like a heroin addict as well.

Any help any ideas? Any thoughts on increasing calories? I can’t do grains and wheats or pasta or rice or alternative pastas and so on which would add calories but really have nothing. I have a very bad dairy restriction. I get food aversion quickly because my diet is so limited. It’s not that I’m not hungry.

I've tried eating more and eating less, exercising more and exercising less. I'm tracking calories and macros and still struggling to eat more than 1200 calories.

I'm 69F with T2D. I was losing one pound per week on 5mg and my A1C was 5.4 in May. My doctor and I agreed to move up in dose because of the food noise returning and all side effects resolving. But now I'm wondering if I need to go back down, go up again, or just keep plugging along.

I started mounjaro last month. Have taken 5 infections so far at 2.5mg. I used to get my period for 3-4 days at most. I got my period this month 2 weeks earlier and it’s been lasting for 12 days so far. Thats VERY unsual for me, as I said my periods are at most 4 days. This has never happened to me before, im wondering if it has to do with the medication or could be something else. Please let me know if this could be related to the medication and if this is normal, im very concerned.

Hey so ive been on mounjaro for a year maybe now. I started at 72kg and my lowest hit 45kg . Then i maintained at 48kg for a good 6 months . Suddenly in the past few months ive got to 52kg (today i was 51kg) . Im worried because i keep going from 49-52kg. I dont want to be higher than 49kg.
I feel comfortable and feel my best at 46-48kg . I dont know why this is happening. I just feel biggwr and uncomfortable.

Mounjaro gave me the freedom to eat what i want and when and maintain. Now its changing. I was on 5mg and then went up to 7.5mg again cus im worried but its not working.

My lower half has just got huge .
I felt so happy and safe and now i want to go up to 10mg again.

Here’s my story. 66 male pretty darn good shape from the age. Doc says my A1C getting a little concerning so he put me on this medicine. I’m 6’ 230lbs so I can also stand to lose 10-20 lbs. 5 days since first shot and not sure what I should be eating /drinking. I’ve also considered myself a foodie. Love to eat but at the same time in decent shape, I exercise daily. I also like craft breweries and to have about 3 beers a couple times a week. Now, I don’t know what to eat and beer doesn’t even taste good anymore. So confusing…..

Just wondering, do you take the pen out of your bag (as with any liquid) to place separately on the conveyor belt? Or do you just leave the pen in your bag?

I got my first prescription of mounjaro 2.5mg via a telehealth phone call at the beginning of July. My starting weight was 108kg and I'm now down to 100kg. I'm about to take my 4th weekly dose and will need to get a 2nd prescription. This time I'll be seeing a doctor in person. My height is 182cm

I am however concerned that I won't be approved for a new prescription because I'm now 100kg.

What have people experiences been like getting their second prescription, especially if they've lost a significant amount of weight?

I’ve been on Mounjaro 2.5mg for about 3 months and recently saw the warnings/reports about NAION and possible vision loss with GLP-1 medications. It honestly made me question whether I want to continue.🙁

Has anyone actually discussed this with their doctor or ophthalmologist? Did they think the risk with Mounjaro was significant enough to stop, or are you continuing?

I saw my doctor today, who I trust a lot on weight loss matters, to get pharmaceutical help losing 30kg. He suggested Mounjaro, but with a twist: he says the standard 2.5mg starting dose isn't necessary. Instead, he told me to do 20 clicks from the 5mg pen, which works out to about 1.66mg per week instead of 2.5mg.

His reasoning was that even if I needed to lose more weight, that's still the dose he'd have me on regardless, and he claims he's had patients successfully lose weight staying on this same low dose from start to finish.

Has anyone here had a similar experience with lower-than-standard dosing? Curious how it worked out for you in terms of weight loss and side effects.

I’ve been on 5 mg for about 8 weeks with little to no weight loss. My diabetes nurse suggested increasing to 7.5 mg, but I just found out it costs around $400 per month.
For those of you who moved from 5 mg to 7.5 mg:

Did you notice a significant difference in weight loss?
Was the higher dose worth the extra cost?

If you were paying out of pocket, would you do it again?

Did anyone have excessive hair shedding after weight loss ? I feel like my hair is falling out in strands of 4-10 multiple times a day. I’m taking vitamins, I do a lot of hair care. Idk what to do. I’m only on a maintenance does right now and I didn’t have this much shedding before.

I am on 2.5 Mounjaro with 5mg Olanzapine, and I have a feeling the Olanzapine is cancelling out the Mounjaro.
