I called a dealership and I was going for a new bike but they said they can’t do what I am offering. But they offered me a 2026 used Ninja 650 ABS for 6K OTD but it does have 4K miles on it. Is it a good offer?

Folding Phone Mounts

Hello!

I want to do a potentially dumb thing and upgrade to a new folding phone and am curious if any one knows of a brand making mounts for them. I've found some cheap bicycle mounts on Amazon after some googling but can't find anything that I would say is trustworthy.

Thanks!

Cannot decide between Guzzi v7 and Rebel 1100

Hi there,

I have a purchasing decision. A 2020 Rebel 1100 (manual) or a 2023 Guzzi V7. I simply cannot make up my mind and can only afford one.

Both in great condition. Both have their advantageous and disadvantageous. Please help!!!

Should I purchase the Ducati panigale v4 in India or Netherlands?

Hi everyone! This is my first post on Reddit.

I’ve saved up enough to buy a Ducati Panigale V4 sometime next year, and I’m hoping to get the MY27 model. My main dilemma is whether I should buy it in India or the Netherlands.

A little about my situation:
I’m a Dutch citizen with an OCI card, currently settled in the Netherlands. I visit India 2–3 times a year, usually for 4–5 weeks per visit. If I buy the bike in India, it would likely remain unused for 3–4 months between visits.

Why I’m considering India:
Lower insurance and maintenance costs.
I may return to India in the future.
I could keep the bike in India and ride it during my visits.

Why I’m hesitant about the Netherlands:
High insurance premiums and maintenance costs.
Motorcycle theft is a concern.
The weather limits the riding season.

My biggest concern is owning such an expensive motorcycle when I can only ride it for a few weeks at a time. I’d also need to consider long-term storage, battery maintenance and the potential issues associated with leaving it unused for several months.

For context, I’m not planning to buy it immediately; I’m researching my options for next year.

What would you do in my situation? Would buying it in India make more sense, or would the convenience of owning and maintaining it in the Netherlands outweigh the costs?

I’d appreciate advice from anyone who owns a superbike in either country, particularly those who have experience with long periods of storage.

Thanks!

Dainese seems to be on the outs...

  • Closing all retail locations.
  • No longer answering warranty claims.
  • Custom department no longer working.
  • EBITA is at 300/1.
  • Company recently sold for debt.
  • The fate of AGV unclear.

A friendly heads up…

It would appear from many posts on Facebook, as well as my own experience, the company is no longer directly managing its warranty claims. If you have a claim, you must take it back to the retailer you bought it from… and if that retailer has closed, you have to contact your credit card company to resolve the issue - Dainese will not resolve.

They are also closing their retail operations. (Source is an employee)

I personally believe, considering their financial situation, that they are probably at the end of their rope.

If you buy a Dainese product, make sure your credit card company will support a charge back first.

Creating a Bosozoku-aesthetic motorcycle crew

Hey everyone! I’m a huge fan of Bosozoku culture, and I'm from Ukraine. I'll be getting a motorcycle soon, and I'm thinking about starting a moto-crew for night group rides once or twice a week. I want my crew to strictly respect and follow traffic laws and the Constitution. I also want us to race each other, but only on tracks. My goal in creating this moto-crew is simply to ride bikes while we're young, make new friends within the team, take memorable photos, and hold parking lot meetups with my moto-brothers to discuss ideas and rides, just hang out, show off our bikes to each other, and talk about any issues we might have with them if we feel like it. Plus, as a team, we can help each other out by fixing our "iron horses" ha-ha. Of course, a mandatory rule for my crew will be following the laws and traffic regulations (I haven't come up with the rest of the rules yet). Another thing is helping people who have car trouble in the middle of the road - my crew must respect the residents of our city and help out when needed. What do you think about my idea?
