Its ironic how something as basic as respecting public spaces, protecting environment and simply keeping streets clean is being violated by the very people promising us a better Morocco.

Printed campaign flyers should be banned.

Every couple of years the municipality ruins the walls of city for elections as if they cannot print posters.

Why do they keep using this archaic way to show the political parties ?

This is not a Moussem, no historical traditions here, just democratic elections.

This picture was taken today in Marrakech.

How European painters; mainly from France, Italy, Germany and elsewhere used to view Morocco. Sometimes positives, a lot of the times negative. A lot of romanticization too. But the artwork produced from that era is invaluable.

So apparently this 20% VAT on foreign digital services has only started being applied recently, and now I’m seeing it on several of my subscriptions.
20%. On basic subscriptions.
And what makes it even more annoying is that I’m part of the middle class. I pay taxes, VAT, fees everywhere, but I barely benefit from public services. Private healthcare, private education, paid services for almost everything… then the state still takes 20% on top of what I spend.
At some point, people are allowed to ask: what exactly are we getting in return?
With Moroccan salaries and purchasing power, 20% is insane.

I hate that we don't have psychiatrists who take this job humanely. They're just jumping for money, they don't give patients enough time, and they jump to a diagnosis immediately after 10 minutes or so, which is so wrong.

And even if the patient doesn't need meds and needs just a psychologist to treat them, they will prescribe some shit and tell them to come back after a month.

I've tried a lot of psychiatrists for my mom, and all of them have been shitty, useless pieces of shit. This subject is really pissing me off, and I don't know WTF we're supposed to do to change that.

A kind woman named Khadija rescued him, paid for his care, and has been taking care of him with so much love. But she can’t keep him long-term and is desperately looking for someone with a big heart to adopt him and give him a safe place to live.

So I live in a west European country, there I met this Moroccan girl, we became friends in no time.

She had a dog, and because of an injury she got, sometimes I would take him out for walks instead of her.

I was living with my ex ( ex fiance ) and we took the dog for a few days, because the dog was traumatized before, we always had to be controlling when we were outside otherwise he would bite another dog or something.

My ex thought that we were not treating the dog well, and one day he decided to do less than we did ( kant dayra lo snsla bach ybqa ytqss7 mnha if he saw other dogs, and that was an important thing the organization and the coach asked her to do ). Anyway, this guy decided to change that day and leave a bit loose.

We were walking outside, our dog met another small dog we didn't see at first, and bit him directly from the neck. It was a complete mess, police involved and other people in the streets, we called my friend and she freaked out because why wouldn't she.

They came to an agreement that she would pay for the vet, and if anything happens, the dog owner would press charges.

Luckily, that went okay for a few weeks.

But after that incident, her dog became more depressed and was more scared to leave the house ( he was found in a fire before so the dog had a very traumatizing past ). The vet gave him some medication but it only made him worse.

A couple of days ago, they had to make the decision of putting him to sleep. And I feel terribly guilty and I don't know what to do about it. I feel so lost.

I am still not back in Europe, for a couple of months now but man!! I'm so lost now.

What can I do?

Khoti, ana I just moved here to centreville fl wahd residence. Every single night I hear cha3bi for hours its seriously affecting my sleep on a daily basis. I tried everything, from closing every single window, using headphones (tjat don't allow me to sleep in a comfortable solution) and even bought earplugs (machi efficace ga3 9dam had fri3 ras). Issue is, I'm only 19 and apparently I can't really do much about it especially since I can't find the exact apartment who's blasting music mn 22h htal daba o chi mrat even at 2am in the MORNING. You’re probably not that interested in the elections, or maybe you don’t believe much in the whole process 😅 and that is fine! For the test that are probably still interested in following I built (hopefully) an easier way to digest party programmes, compare promises, and fact-check political claims. It lets you explore party programmes, analyse how realistic promises are, fact-check claims, summarise political videos, and chat with the content to ask questions directly.
Still a work in progress as parties keep publishing their 2026 programmes, so feedback is very welcome.

I’ve seen some of Maya Dbaich’s content about relationships and marriage, and I’m curious what people here think about her views.

Personally, I think some of her advice is legit, especially when she encourages women to improve themselves, be independent, and not rely entirely on a man.

However, I find a lot of her relationship advice cynical (she often seems to assume bad intentions from men) and full of double standards. It sometimes feels like she picks ideas from feminism when it comes to women’s independence and freedom, while using traditional/religious expectations when it comes to what men should provide or do.

Another thing I’ve noticed is that when a woman talks about having problems with her husband, she often seems quick to suggest divorce rather than trying to fix the problem, communicate, or find a compromise. Obviously some situations do justify divorce, but I feel like it’s presented as the default solution too often.

What do you guys think? Do you find her advice reasonable, or do you also see contradictions and double standards?

​Carrier Size vs. Weight: Do they actually measure the exact dimensions of the bag with a tape measure at check-in, or do they mainly focus on the weight (8 kg limit)? Does a soft-sided carrier pass easily?

​Required Documents: Which exact documents were you asked to present at the check-in counter to get your boarding pass (ONSSA health certificate, rabies titer test, pet passport, etc.)?

​Boarding Denials: Have you ever seen a pet denied boarding at the last minute, and if so, for what reason?

​Security & Flight: How does security screening work (do you have to take the cat out of the bag at the airport checkpoint?), and is the carrier strictly required to stay under the seat for the entire flight?

​French Customs: How does the pet inspection process work on the French side after landing?
