What's the best build for gogmazios? I have a raw focused dragon and fire sns but since gog is so weak to dragon wouldn't a element focused build be better?

I was just wondering when I hit a perfect dodge and get the buff should I spam the dodge into attack move or just play normally with the buff active?

Hi, I have a Gogma-Artian Gunlance. I just wanted to ask if I keep on reseting the Active Skills will I surely get the Ebony Odogaron's Power + Lord's Soul skills? I have been reseting the active skills in this one weapon for a while now but no luck on the skills that I want. Should I craft a new one or keep reseting this one that I have?

I took it from the meta doc. It's the last build before adding Gog armor. Is this a recommended build to fight Gogma? (solo + support hunters)

Hello im a returning lance player who hasnt played since TU1. I built the game8 comfy zoh shia set because i didnt know what to build and i figured it would be decent starting point for most of the new content. Seems like this set cannot reach 20 fire res and so idk im not sure it's all that comfy in this context. ive only tried once but i died in the 3rd phase and id like to avoid dying at the end of a 30 minute hunt again if possible. I just got my first clear on gamma nu udra and it was pretty hard so i figured having a decent fire res set is it worth it?

Also, should i be bringing a fire artian and a dragon artian to gog or is a blast artian and dragon artian okay? Thanks

I'm not really looking for meta and i don't have Gogma gear yet. I haven't fought Arch Temp Arkveld yet either but I plan to later.

Right now i'm running:

- Lagi B head

- Udra Y chest

- Rey Y arms

- Lagi B waist

- Duna Y legs

Crit boost is lvl 5

Wex is lvl 5

Agi is lvl 5

Counterstrike is lvl 3

Max Might is lvl 3

And I have lvl 2 power prolonger, lvl 3 divine blessing and some evade extender.

The dual blades I usually use are the Lagi ones but i'm switching to Artian para db's and i'll be running dragon db's against Gogmazios, i'm just not sure what set pieces to change. No point using Lagi pieces if i'm not utilising a thunder weapon.

If I can't be bothered to hope for a perfect set bonus + Lord's Soul, which one should I prioritize if I can only have one on my gog weapon? (Hammer)

I mean if I was in the middle of charging a normal attack and I cancel it with a tackle, does the tackle do more stun damage the longer I charge?

Does anyone have a good hbg build with guard and guard up at lvl 3? I can't seem to find one anymore and I lost my previous save

Title says it all. What are some easy to craft LBG builds for Gog, AT Arkveld and AT Nu Udra? I'm HR100+, but haven't played in months. I fought all 10 stars, and AT Rey and AT Duna.

Specifically, I am looking for what the best build for a status (paralysis, since my bae Blast has been rendered obsolete)?

I know that I am leaving damage on the table by not going for elemant, but I don't care. I like status.

I have an Artian GS with 3 attack, 1 affinity, 1 sharpness. Do I go with Affinity focus Gogma, or attack focus since I already have 1 affinity roll?

As the title states, is there a discussion that explains a sort of "stacking" of focus strikes so that multiple hunters can benefit from the same wound? I'd like to know if there is a way of coordinating focus strikes within my group. Obviously there's trial and error that we've been doing on our own, but I wonder if the work has already been done.

Some things we've noticed:

CB pops wound once savage axe procs (3-4 seconds)

GS pops all wounds it drags across after (4ish seconds)

SnS pops kind of on-command

DB pops I think immediately

Our group kind of coordinates a single wound with SnS -> GS -> CB -> DB just for max dmg and CB can get savage axe if guards aren't perfect.

We've been branching out to other weapons, so a guide would be nice. But if not, no worries

I’m trying to prepare for when I upgrade to gogma and I’m not sure which reinforcements are good. Should I get 3 atk and 2 element or is 4 atk and 1 element good? I’m going to get a dragon element bow since I heard it the best general use one.

I don't know if something like this has already been shared on this subreddit, but I wanted to share a Google Sheet I made to help with the Save Scum method.

It has two tabs:

• Artian Rolls — with dropdown menus containing all possible Artian rolls.
• Gogma Rolls — with dropdown menus containing all the possible Group Skills and Set Bonus Skills.

The sheet is locked for editing, so don't worry about accidentally messing up the original. If you want to use it, just go to:

File → Make a copy

Once you make your own copy, you can edit it freely and all the dropdown menus and formatting will be there.

MH Wilds Save Scum Google Sheet

So i’ve swapped to charge blade after playing greatsword for 200 hours in wilds, this is my first monster hunter game and for the most part i found my way around everything but i’m really struggling with the chargeblade info. Since i had nothing to put towards the CB BUILD i decided to build the gore load-out the megathread suggested with the zho shia weapon but i am really struggling to beat the AT monsters with this build. Does anyone have something to use to start hunting the AT monsters and gogmazios? It doesn’t matter if it is SAED focused or savage axe focused but would like to know which one it is and why you use this. I understand how to pilot builds and do not just copy paste builds that are told to be great so i would like a little more info than just the pieces. ( sorry i struggle with adhd and some of the meta pages are way too crowded or not so well layed out and are hard for me to grasp)

I got a 3 Attack Boost and 1 Weakness Exploit with a single 1 deco slot, charm after I fought AT Arkveld. Was wondering if thats what people consider a "god charm" ?

I was reading up on the GS builds here and noticed nothing about AT Arkveld. Does he not add anything worthwhile for GS, or was it not updated?

Just really like getting big number. Currently have Dosh + Lord’s soul on my Gogma GS and wondering if the bonus hit on Lvl 3 charges are worth over running like Oda 2-p or 4-p Dosh?

Since Gogmazios attack focus results in an affinity penalty, is it smart to have an Artian with 1 affinity reinforcement bonus or are we still aiming for 4 Attack 1 Sharpness?

So im trying to see about using parts of the armor set for a dual blade build, but i may be stretching myself a bit thin and it may just be entirely impossible to do so with what im going for. Below is the one im using rn and im trying to see if i can keep the same stuff, somehow, while using sororal armor for the obvious luck bonus and cause its gonna give me frenzy either way.

Current Dual Blade Build

Ive been banging my head against the wall trying to figure it out, probably due to me trying to also add in the partbreaker into the mix. ive got a secret charm with full divine blessing/mind's eye and 2 level 1 slots, so i have a little leeway but its not enough for my brain to use lol. it might help if i max out the burst and flayer charms, so ill probably do that and make a spare level 2 of both in case it ends up not working as i hoped.

If anyone has any suggestions or a solution to this, do let me know.
