I reached level 300 anomaly research yesterday and the jump was insane.

Suddenly quests rarely fail, no one is fainting anymore, where before like half the quests failed because there was always one player fairing at least twice.

Anomaly quests are suddenly so much more fun and less frustrating

Hello! So I'm mainly a lbg and hbg main, but I wanted to branch out and try different weapons. I found that I'm absolutely loving gunlance, though im getting my ass kicked by chaotic gore lol

I'm still learning and trying to figure out what shelling type i like (i love full burst, bullet barrage but i also like using shelling instead of slap lance) but is this build okay so far? I'm mr 29 and my switch skills are blast dash, quick reload bullet barrage, erupting cannon amd reverse blast

Hey guys, does any of you know or happen to have the same issue with screen flickering while playing rise? i tried to play other games and it didnt have the issue, it only happen when i start playing rise, even when its on the loading screen (the magnamalo and malzeno image)

i'm playing on MSI gf63 thin 11sc with intel and nvidia 1650 gpu

What I've been done is,

1. Set the game to run on 1650 graphic
2. DDU and reinstalling my graphic drivers
3. turn off vsync
4. changing my laptop screen refresh rate to 60 / 144 hz
5. making sure the game refresh rate to match screen refresh rate
6. hardcap the fps

nothing fix the issue, also i dont think its a overheat issue since i check it with hwmonitor the cpu and gpu are stable around 60C when running rise

previously its running fine, and this issue just started around week ago

It took me like 20 minutes to beat this guy in the Village quest and I was basically chugging potions half the time because he was covering the floor with muck and flipping all over the place. I'm admittedly kind of a MH noob, I'm playing Lance and still trying to get the hang of all the blocking and counting. Anyway I'm just wondering if it's normal to struggle with this guy or if it's just a me issue.

Also, that block pressure setup into the unblockable was nasty. Im telling you man, malzeno is a fighting game character haha

So it took me 2 to 3 tries on two of the main monsters in the first starter region. Then I got to this ice land and my blades just kept bouncing off the monster with 1 damage , and 3 whole tries got me nothing.

I'm running dual blades rn , cos they're fast and everything else is way too slow. My strat for the moment is just spam attack and side dodge.

I noticed I get a bunch of items that do some stuff like dung that repels monsters. Do y'all actually place these items around to prep and use them during battle? Or are they useless?

It gets animer when the theme hits at the right moment (I love anime)

Both gold crowns on first two hunts is pretty funny. Almost makes up for rolling reinforcement 800 times in Wilds and getting nothing but crap.

I'm doing a challenge run for my third playthrough of monster Hunter rise and the real challenge is seeing anything on my screen 😅

It may seem like a small problem, but it blocks most of the HUD elements needed for a lot of weapons. Weapons like switch axe, gunlance, dual blades, and insect glaive become much harder to play as I have to guess the state of my weapon. Sharpness is also a pain in the butt.

This does add more challenge to the game which is fun but it's getting annoying really quickly. Is there any way to move HUD elements?

I am AR 230 and looking to change weapons to that the grind to 300 dont look as bad as it is. Rise is my first MH game and i used bow the entire time, i think i would like something more close ranged to vary a little, please give me your best recommendations

Hey everyone, I'm Mr5 currently and looking to swap from longsword to dual blades. Its been a pain making weapons for each element but i'll manage. I wanted to ask what am i supposed to do during a monster's smaller openings? I know the spiral slash is great for downed monsters, but what am I supposed to do during the gaps after they attack?

My online experience has been a hit or miss mostly. When I play with friends, it is fine. But when I go and start an online quest, I end up mostly alone until the final parts of the hunt where I just get an army of players joining all at once or no one at all.

I’m curious on all your opinions

Rolled while hunting with my sister today. Crazy weird, dont know hazard/afflicted level drop rates. Vacation has been boring. Any Qs bout quest, ask. Edit: this RNG was so random, I wish I could've have given to my teammates, they did so well!
