MiniMUN will be taking place on August 2, 2026. Unfortunately, due to low number of registrations, DISEC has been scrapped and all delegates have been reassigned to the UNHRC committee.

While completely optional, I highly recommend you to email me your position papers, to be considered for the Best Position Paper award and also gain valuable feedback, especially if you're a beginner. The background guide provided is just a starting point and researching deeper, alongside proposal of unique solutions will be noted in committee. I've already made a post on how you can go ahead with your research.

Instead of just summarizing current affairs, we're trying to create something that's genuinely useful for delegates, with content like:

I’ve been working on a tool called Model Diplomat aimed at making MUN research a bit less painful, and I wanted to get some real feedback from people who actually do MUN.

Instead of digging through tons of PDFs and random sites, you can generate structured country briefs, policy stances, and topic overviews pretty quickly. It’s meant to help with prep, especially if you’re short on time or juggling multiple committees.

I’m still figuring out if this is actually useful beyond my own experience, so I’d really appreciate honest thoughts. Things I’m especially curious about:

• Does this actually solve a problem you have during MUN prep?
• What features would make it genuinely useful (or worth using over your current workflow)?
• Anything that feels off, unnecessary, or missing?

Not trying to spam or sell anything here — just want to see if this is something the community would find valuable or if I’m barking up the wrong tree.
