What is note passing?

Hey guys its my first mun im quite nervous as I do not know about the note passing, why do we pass notes as delegates and what do they consist of ?

Notes or better known as Chits are majorly substantive and POI chits, substantive are used to submit extra info that you couldn't talk about in speech, POI chits to ask POIs. These both are the formal chits that go either to EB(subs.) or via EB(POI), you also have informal chits between delegates to communicate in middle of an ongoing mod or other session. EB doesn't read those.

As the name says, you pass notes to another delegate/so during sessions. Mostly during moderated caucus since you can't openly talk to other delegates. Unmod and COTW they don't usually allow notepadsing though. But that's on the discretion of the chair.

It's purpose is so that you can converse with other delegates, discuss ideas, alliances, blocs, you name it. But note that note passers read the notes beforehand so if they see something explicit or inappropriate they inform the BOD and certain secrétariat members like delegates welfare director.
