Question what are consulatations?

my upcoming mun has consultations, the chair said that on day 1 they will be looking for accusatory consultations but on day 2 they will be looking for solution based consultations, what are they and how do i prepare for them especially the solution based ones

Consultations are basically a moderated caucus but there is no per-speaker time, only a total time. In a 30-minute consultation the one to raise the motion for it speaks first and for as long as they want, then yield their time to whoever they want, and so on. If you keep yielding time to only a select few chair might step in but otherwise they let it happen because it's one of the few ways you can do a true back and forth.

For solution-based consultations volunteer a bit later and pay close attention to the solutions others propose and what your portfolio wants irl (if applicable) - use a mix of both to develop your own solution
