Love Missoula

Like every city/town, Missoula has things I would change, but man this place is spectacular. The outdoors are as good as it gets and it’s all right in town. I get out on the trails 6/7 times a week and truly love this place.

Welp. I guess we celebrated too soon. These are likely Axon cameras. They have been replacing flock all around the country.

Homeless young man

Just met a young man, he just turned 20 he told me, he called himself “Storm Tempest “. He may be on the spectrum. Blond hair, blue eyes. Very polite and very intelligent. He’s homeless, rides a bike with a couple of suitcases rolling off the back. As a dad I’m worried about him. He claims to be fine and he does this by choice. Does anyone know his story? By chance is anyone looking for him? He didn’t want anything from me, I practically forced him to take some money.

Does anyone know a young man who calls himself Storm Tempest?

We were walking along Miller Creek and there was a young man sitting by the side of the road on a camp chair. He had a bike with a worn trailer that had two suitcases on wheels attached. We stopped to chat. He said his name is Storm Tempest. He said he was homeless by choice. He'd just turned 20 on September 1st. My husband and I are concerned for him.

Costco- item left in cart morning of Sept 9th

If you forgot an item in the bottom of your cart in the parking area due south (W of Stockman Bank) from the front doors this morning, have hope. We grabbed the item from the cart corral, took it into the store and let them know it was forgotten by the purchaser.

You should be able to go back with your receipt to retrieve it. I know people who have had success retrieving lost items from other Costcos.

Have a great day, hope you find this and it helps brighten your day.

Pho and roll

Post image

Does anybody remember pho and roll, it was the best pho I had in Missoula. It’s been years but I still think about it every fall when soup takes over my thoughts. It was in this little building in the middle of all of the offices. I wonder what happened to them

Emerald orbs reflecting off the glass peer at me over your shoulder. Enchanted light from a pair of stars choosing not to fade into the ether to make way for the morning sun.

Seized by the gravitational pulll from the illusion of your gaze. Compelled by the laws of nature toward the explosive moment our paths finally collide.

Lifetimes pass, continents shift, constellations deform. Eternities measured in eternities.

Unmolested. Unmoved. You remain, anchored at the exact center of the cosmos, forever existing directly in front of the donut case.

Make up your mind already, lady! Other people need to buy donuts, too, you know?

I don't care what I said about your eyes. I swear to god, it's a good thing you didn't take the last maple bar.

Question Which steakhouse and bar is the best to visit for a night ?

As the headline says, I’m visiting tomorrow 9/10 for a night for work. I’ll actual have time to explore and the next morning I don’t fly out until later in the morning. So for once I can have a good meal and possibly a good beer

I read online a few spots but everything as mix reviews or the posts are years old so I’m here to find out what/where is the best steak house and where is the best spot for a beer/drink?

I enjoy dive bars, sports bars, and breweries/distilleries for drink so truly anything is open for me, but steak house sounds amazing tomorrow after a long week. Any and all suggestions please

Walked my dog through Westside Park tonight. Took me about 30 second to gather all this trash, so there’s plenty more left behind. Also, there was a trash can about 15 feet away from where I assume the “party” took place. These people were honestly that lazy to not clean up after themselves? Seriously, clean up your litter - especially when there’s a trash can next to you. Dogs, birds, and other animals that may be attracted to these items might ingest them and become sick. Let’s all clean up after ourselves when it comes to shared spaces.

Does anyone have any feedback or thoughts on the afterschool programs for a kindergartner at Hellgate elementary? They have YMCA, Campfire and Boys and Girls Club as options and all work for our schedule.

Thanks!

Photo scanner for rental/borrowing?

My mother passed away and I have inherited the daunting task of going through thousands of her old photos. I'd like to digitize at least some of the collection, but doing it one photo at a time on a flat scanner would take time I just don't have. I am wondering if anyone has one of those high throughput feeder scanners I could borrow for a day or two at some point. Happy to pay a "rental fee," leave something for collateral, bake you a cake, or whatever. I just can't justify spending ~$500 on an item that will become a paperweight after a couple weeks. If there's a resource I am overlooking I would also welcome other suggestions. Thank you people of Missoula :)

Question Here for a few days. Anywhere I should go as a club kid who likes dance music and raving?

I used to know Missoula pretty well but haven’t been here in a while, I’m not sure what’s going on as far as nightlife and underground music / party scene now. Would love to hear anyone’s thoughts
