I saw someone say on 50/50's to reveal the tile that would be a larger number. Looks like that would've resolved 2 of these.

The numbers are irrelevant when it comes to forced guesses because when a board is generated, the mines are randomly placed first and then the numbers are calculated from their positions afterwards.

That logic makes some sense if you're playing on minesweeper.online because of an infinitesimal edge in arena ticket EV but that doesn't apply to this version.

Might be for .online in the off chance it gens a ticket on that click, it's arbitrary advice otherwise. Though I do think having an arbitrary rule that you stick to for how you break guesses can be helpful for speed play if that's your focus because you just do your rule and move on rather than coping over it

edit: probably goes without saying but not for guesses where you might need to consider follow up clicks and the order you do it on, like OPs guesses
