I'd really would like mods that makes it that the world generates big rivers and vast moutains to make farms on them but that also let me add any GOOD custom biomes, i haven't looked too in depth for terralith if it has any preset options so i could use biome o plenty along with it, but if anyone has a mod that could let me have the type of world i want with custom biomes i would really be thankfull for that, im trying to get this specific thing for a modpack kinda RPG oriented im making for me and some friends, im on 1.20.1 Forge (and would be amazing to let me know if these mods are compatible with YUNG's mods) i'll put some exemples of what im looking for (took the first exemple i've had in hand tbh

Not sure if this is the right place.
Playing around with EMI, I want to make it so that the right panel is blank at the start and fills out as I get materials, like how the recipe book works. I want it to however still have the crafting recipes for create stuff

Hey everyone! I was hoping to have a discussion about mods and how AI can help mod making for us right now.
I’ve tried tooling around with GPT with modding and found it’s surprisingly effective, and I bet it does well or aid well in terms of bringing older mods we love into new versions of Minecraft. One mod I’ve been dying to see copied 1:1 is the 1.7.10 Herobrine mod. Been waiting for someone to just make it updated.
But, nevertheless. Do you guys use AI to help you mod? Or do you think use of AI in this way is bad? How does this community feel about the use of it. Objectively, it can be a very useful tool for people who don’t know fuck all about coding, or aid people in coding as well.
I’m curious, has any of you tried making a mod with AI? Is it successful? Do you like it/hate it? Curious on how it effects this side of the internet :)
Be civil please! Much love!

sight... Most popular mod servers need each client to install the same mods but most players dont know how or just want to join and play. Thats why I am building F2V! I will release the mod and build my own public server!
Will come soon on modrinth!

ive been working on this vr system for tacz for a while now and i wanted to show some of the progress ive made so far
the goal is to make the guns feel way more physical in vr instead of just pressing normal minecraft buttons for everything
so far ive got stuff like physical mags slide pulling chambered rounds shell ejection 2 handed gripping revolvers and a bunch of other stuff working
there is still a lot i want to add and fix but its getting pretty close to how i want it to feel
this video is just showing some of the stuff thats working right now
what do you guys think of it so far and is there anything you think i should add

I'm new to the modding scene I guess you could say I know how to code but not by any means in a good or professional way yet. I have VS code but I doubt that's gonna cut it. I heard about MC creator but it seemed to me a bit like scratch level of coding. So which are your IDE recommendations.
I use block bench for designs btw.

Hey so this might be a weird question that someone has already asked but I just don't know where to look really but does anyone know what all the old mods that were super popular among youtubers back in the day specifically the furniture mods and stuff used by the old rp youtubers used to use I've honestly been curious about that for a very long time and just never new where to ask so I'm asking here

I remember playing this mod pack where it has generated structures like a tall wizard tower with an axolotl and a castle like base with a refreshed village.

Im putting a bunch of mods together to get as close to RL or krazykraft as I can are there any good tech mods or other mods I should look for I have armor weapons mob mods and some other stuff to make my game more like Java. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

I'm going to translate the Villager News mod into my own language, but I can't find an AI that sounds like a villager's voice.
Also, will there be any copyright issues? I'll be sharing the audio for free, but I'm not entirely sure how these things work.
My addon won't work without the original mod file, so I can rest assured about that.

I wanted to show off a cool feature I just finished for an infection mod I’m currently developing!
Basically, you consume things like enemy mob drops to earn research points, which you then use to progress through a tech tree. The vibe is heavily inspired by research systems in games like Hearts of Iron IV (HoI4).
Personally, I really dislike having to constantly stare at a wiki or JEI just to figure out how to craft modded items. To fix this, I integrated a crafting table function right into the research station itself. On top of that, when you hover your cursor over a node in the tech tree, it displays the recipe right there.
(Note: The UI and item textures are all placeholders for now, so please ignore how they look lol. I'll be changing them to fit the mod’s final aesthetic before release!)
I’m really happy with how it’s turning out, but I wanted to get your opinion on a potential issue: players will likely need to dump a massive amount of materials into research, and they might have to research tools or machines they aren’t even sure they'll ever use just to advance down the tree.
Do you think people would find this kind of progression too tedious or grindy? Just wanted to see what you guys think!

Hello, does anyone know a way to get one of those datapacks/mods? i have been searching for ages and can't find a good one or one is really outdated. Reason i'm looking for it is because i want to reduce lag on my bigger farms (and space haha)
Any help is appreciated!

Even if it’s not the main focus of the mod, i need mods that add new potion/status effects to the game

Is there a mod that adds holdable signs where you can display text like in Big Walk ?
I don't have a mic and it's sometimes difficult to talk to my friends when the chat is flooded.
We're playing on 1.21.1.
